Tournament CAPCL V - Week 1

Murphy Lawden · Oct 26, 2026

Follow all rules listed here.
Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for me to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.
If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to me or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.
Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.
Managers: Please send me your lineups in the same format that I used to post pairings. It makes it much easier to post future rounds more quickly.

very very excited to watch this week unfold, there's several interesting and underdeveloped tiers, UU especially is pretty much the wild west right now so I think a lot of matches are going to be won in the builder. Fewer sv slots has also made every matchup a banger
not gonna try to predict mono I have zero insight

Fidgit Spinners vs Shadow of the Colossoil
SV CAP: Potatochan vs Baddy | huge highlight week 1
SV CAP: Kaif vs LB
NatDex CAP: zioziotrip vs Tempo di anguria | also a highlight
CAP UU: DripLegend vs Fragments
CAP Monotype: voltorblover483762 vs TTK | a hero returns to cap...
CAP Doubles: Razachu vs sheepie | these guys both suck and must be excised immediately
BW CAP: crow crumbs vs Incognition | crumb diff
DPP CAP: Nuxl vs SEROO | exp diff

Magnetic Flox vs Surging Snaelstroms
SV CAP: Shadow079 vs cotta | goats
SV CAP: Mimikyu Stardust vs MemphisDepay
NatDex CAP: ElectraineHeart vs luuanfps | unfamiliar with luuan
CAP UU: Quinn vs Spitfire | very happy to see spitfire playing cap again
CAP Monotype: Sificon vs Fentropy
CAP Doubles: AthenaStrive9 vs Schister
BW CAP: TGA vs seraphz
DPP CAP: Shock3600 vs Kasp | kasp probably the better clicker here but can't be sure how much support hes getting or how quickly he takes to the tier

Glacial Syclants vs Operation: Doomsday
SV CAP: spoo vs Mada
SV CAP: MGdos16 vs ILSB
NatDex CAP: jscurf vs 1yr | idk
CAP UU: VoidOfDarknesss vs velvet | idk
CAP Monotype: mielke vs Trichotomy
CAP Doubles: Yellow Paint vs sequoia
BW CAP: tier vs Micaiah | tier plot armor has to end eventually right?
DPP CAP: Irys vs Fogbound Lake | fog
