Congratulations to the four teams that made it this far! It has been a wild season so far, and the intensity won't be going down anytime soon!

Please be sure to follow all rules listed here. Managers and players are expected to schedule with their opponent(s) actively, or seek substitutions if needed. For substitutes, please contact myself alongside the opposing player and their managers in the thread, and wherever else necessary. Matches not completed by the deadline are subject to an activity call. Replays are mandatory, if you cannot save a replay, make sure someone else can: playing on the Smogtours server is an easy way to ensure matches can be recorded properly, and is recommended in general.

SV CAP: JJ09LIE vs Potatochan - I'd say this is the closest match this week, it's left to see if the hemos are able to pass a team that fits JJ's style, and whether pchan can take advantage of that. JJ's aggressive in-game play usually overwhelms the opponent but I believe pchan will be able to match it and barely come out on top. HL
SV CAP: Lana vs Career Ended - can't spell aurat without aura, now that ompl is finished she will probably put in more effort to get comfy with whatever team, though career is equally as good and will put up a tough fight. Will come down to sack preservation and other in-game stuff imo but I'm rooting for the motherland here.
SV CAP: Taka vs Kaif - same as above, though I think the fact that taka has to play 80 other games this week coupled with the (New) Bangla Internet Return buff, kaif will care more and end up winning.
SS CAP: entrocefalo vs RADU - radu is cool but I think spoo has recreated enough teams from invitational to get him through 3 famines, as long as he doesn't get mu'd severely like lose to zone or HO, entro will be able to pilot better and emerge victorious.
SM CAP: seth vs Satanic Beast - ngl this is the mu I'm least familiar with, going purely based off team support.
ORAS CAP: Foolycl vs tears - Budget watashi will get outworked here imo, tears and the breezis seem to be putting some effort into this slot and it's showing in their games. I am a fan of how tears is playing their teams too, they're pulling triggers at the right time and it's pretty entertaining to watch.
BW CAP: Brigtel vs Feaniix - my brother from another mother will play 500 test games with maxouille and waldinjy and barely win with 1½ mon left, I believe.
DPP CAP: Sheik : vs zioziotrip - second time I'm predicting against the x-0, but I'm equally confident in this, depending on how much effort he puts in, zio will lock in and get the w. Midwest wcop buff will carry

Heart says hemos, but my mind says breezis, think winner of this series goes all the way.

Wu Tang Clants (4) vs (4) Golden Time Equilibras
SV CAP: Mada vs Fc - Mada is more invested in this tour and has made several good teams, I think the mu will sway this in his favor if bro doesn't use fat again. Fc on the other hand has been using some questionable teams with him not being able to do a lot in some games due to mu and such, so going against someone motivated to innovate is a tough task
SV CAP: Sylveon used calm mind vs RoFnA - More of a gut feeling. Sylv is simultaneously the best and worst player of all time, sometimes in the span of the same game. Giving the edge to my boi rofna because the libras' sv have been cooking this tour with olk's fire builds, and I think they'll be able to catch sylv's preferences well in the builder
SV CAP: Maxouille vs Irene - same reasoning but it's closer than the mu above imo. Max is super dangerous if he really gets comfy with a team (and time xd), but I think the zu heatmon and the momentum that Irene is carrying, will prove to be too much.
SS CAP: Fogbound Lake vs adem - I'm sorry young padawan but fog is a different beast in this tier, you know exactly what he likes but he still manages to fine tune his craft to make Argh Balance #2345. Even if you're not afraid to use jank like sub dd dnite and get a good matchup he will make you work for it immensely, and I think adem might end up misplaying in an important position.
SM CAP: ChrisPBacon vs Gtcha - Great game, similar to fog where you know what's coming to some extent, but I think this match will come down to in-game play more than anything. Tossing a coin but this can go either way, lowkey a HL depending on how seriously it's taken.
ORAS CAP: Micaiah vs Meta-Knight - I'm pleasantly surprised by spammer's perfomance this tour, though I do think that if micaiah's takes the time to build something new that's slightly cheeseproof instead of the same old fat balances, he has this locked up in the bag. More one-sided than it seems on first glances.
BW CAP: Chomp29 vs tier - I think the clants did really well getting this guy, he seems to be upandcoming and super involved with bw, as evidenced by his sharp gameplay and reuni reqs. I do think in recent times they've figured out what works best for him, and that tier will not be able to recycle his way through this one.
DPP CAP: Laurel vs Piyu - that's the mf goat, I think laurel will win end up putting 3x more effort and will get good matchup with something crazy like toxicroak, but through plot armour, friendship, flamethrower burn, focus miss, and binnaclepinnacle, piyu will emerge victorious.

Rooting for tbs and more action
Thanks to everyone on the tusks for making it a fun season despite the circumstances, it was nice to see everyone still putting in effort every week even though we were out early, we'll definitely get them next time :)

SV CAP: JJ09LIE vs Potatochan - Gonna put my trust in the 1v1 mainer, he has something left in the tank that I believe will allow him to edge out the matchup. JJ is no slouch ofc but I think this is the last time Potato gets to play CAP before the atrocities of 1v1 consume him and he turns into Gohar Calvo.
SV CAP: Lana vs Career Ended - Unfortunately share a tier with Lana which means I sometimes have to see screenshots of her talking about cricket which disqualifies her from ever winning.
SV CAP: Taka vs Kaif - Taka needs to win this otherwise he's gonna go undrafted in BSSPL which means he cannot build Choice Specs Skeledirge with me and that's gonna motivate the fake Jai Hinder to defeat his supposed neighbour.
SS CAP: entrocefalo vs RADU - mandate of heaven
SM CAP: seth vs Satanic Beast - Satanic Beast is gonna take over Potatochan like the symbiote so this will be a sub-out situation. Cannot predict this matchup in earnest without knowing who is gonna be subbed in.
ORAS CAP: Foolycl vs tears - I don't remember my game vs tears and I didn't play Foolycl but tears' name reminds me of TierAcid and that guy is so obese he physically takes too much space in my brain I cannot forget this behemoth of a man this NYC boogie69420. Victory awarded due to me being a hater.
BW CAP: Brigtel vs Feaniix - Brig plays way more BW CAP and I will actually be a little asshole and remind him his Keldeo answer is usually non-existent. There, bring a Lati@s this time Brigtel!
DPP CAP: Sheik : vs zioziotrip - beat my DPP player (totally prepped for) (I am NOT wishing violet river the worst!)

SM CAP: ChrisPBacon vs Gtcha - I actually enjoy watching Chris playing unlike a lot of people here (looking at you pannu) so I am giving it to him. If we retroactively add boots to this tier Chris not dropping any games.
ORAS CAP: Micaiah vs Meta-Knight - one of the few spammernoob losses albeit I think he'll prep better this time around. Micaiah should still be favored though sorry.

SV CAP: JJ09LIE vs Potatochan- BANGER MATCH ALERTTTTTTTTTTTTTT I'm really hyped for this one, I think it'll come down a lot to prep. Both of these guys have p solid styles and ways of playing and I'm very hype to see how they play it out. Slight lean to JJ here but like, 51/49 and I just don't wanna predict ties in playoffs
SV CAP: Lana vs Career Ended- I've been really impressed with Career this PL, and I remember the lana-atha game icant
SV CAP: Taka vs Kaif- Spoo and D2 would get mad at me if I bolded taka after last week
SS CAP: entrocefalo vs RADU- entro is Him, I dunno. RADU's SS has looked pretty solid though.
SM CAP: seth vs Satanic Beast- rooting for the guy who has used CAPs recently
ORAS CAP: Foolycl vs tears- Hemos ORAS slot has been pretty dire the one time Spoo doesn't selfbuy...
BW CAP: Brigtel vs Feaniix- another fun one, biased towards brig
DPP CAP: Sheik : vs zioziotrip- sheik might just be the goat of this format (outside of binpin)

really cool games here! The SV ones in particular look electric.

SV CAP: Mada vs Fc- playoff Mada has to come online for the Clants, think it can absolutely happen here. another 51/49 type of game, Fc has been extremely good in SV and has had a great season, just have a slight gut feeling about this

SV CAP: Maxouille vs Irene- Been a lot better overall this season

SM CAP: ChrisPBacon vs Gtcha- this feels v doable for gtcha but its really hard to bet against chris in this slot I feel like
ORAS CAP: Micaiah vs Meta-Knight- Spammer drops the cheese and comes for revenge

DPP CAP: Laurel vs Piyu- not super impressed with Piyu's dpping

Old gens in this series are wild, feels like so much of this one is on a knifes edge and then some
