SV OU Carbink Rain (1500+)

I just want to preface this by saying that this team is absolutely not a good team in any capacity, but it was definitely alot of fun to mess around with. I wanted to try and use :Carbink: on a build that I didnt think was likely to ever have, and so I decided lets try it on a rain team. With that being said let's get straight into it.

:Carbink: :

I didn't want :Carbink: to just be a sturdy rocks lead with custap berry as that felt kind of like cheating the initial goal of the team so instead I decided to use a power herb set to try and apply pressure on the special side and potentially make carbink into an offensive threat. To be able to hit into long term threats like :Zapdos: , :Volcanion: and :Cinderace: as well as to have a powerful stab option the first moveslot is Meteor Beam. Now Carbink is obviously not exactly a fast pokemon so the second moveslot to amplify its speed stat we're running rock polish as this carbink is ev'd to outspeed :Dragapult: after one rock polish and to be able to apply possible long term pressure instead of maybe just revenging one pokemon and just fainting. To have a stab option to hit into pokemon like :Great Tusk: as well as just having another option for a strong stab move the third moveslot is moonblast. To Target into or chip down :Gholdengo: and :pecharunt: (and making it easier for :Barraskewda: to win later) the last moveslot is Earth Power. To resist Ivy cudgel from :Ogerpon-Wellspring: and :Ogerpon: as well as headlong Rush We are running tera grass on this guy.

:Regieleki: :

:Regieleki: is on this team for two major reasons : The first reason is to have a solid means of speed control even outside of rain as with max speed it is able to outspeed :Ogerpon: Even with it's speed boost as well as being the only pokemon that is faster than :Deoxys-Speed: in base and with it's thunder ohkoing uninvested :Ogerpon-Wellspring: it also can provide immediate pressure, as it can feast on pretty much any team without a ground type. Second is to have a pokemon that can take advantage of the boost to thunder accuracy in rain. to have a move that can boost it's stats plus hit into threats like :Kyurem: the second moveslot is ancient power. third to provide a strong stab option that allows it to switch into another threat on the team. This team is extremely weak into :Raging Bolt: so to chip it down as well as surprise ground types that think they have a free switch in the third move slot is explosion as if you do not chip down :Raging Bolt: then chances are it will 6-0 this team, plus doing good chip into :Blissey: can make it much easier to break through builds like stall. To better deal with :Dragonite: We are running tera ghost as with an adamant nature this pokemon still outspeeds plus two :Dragonite: making it able to deal with extreme speed shenanigans that are threatening to every over pokemon on this team.

:Pelipper: :

For every rain team we of course need a rain setter, and :Pelipper: is far and away the best drizzle mon available in the ou tier. To be able to check and take hits from physical threats like :great Tusk: and :Zamazenta: we're running a max hp bold :Pelipper: . To have a strong stab obtion that takes advantage of the rain and is able to do solid damage into most of the tier the first moveslot is surf. To have a strong flying type stab that hits hard into most mons the second moveslot is hurricane. To be able to pivot into one of the threats on the team and maximize rain turns the third moveslot is u turn. Finally to make sure that our weather setter keeps its hp up the last moveslot. To give as an immunity to electric type moves the tera typing is of course ground.

:Barraskewda: :

:Barraskewda: is almost every rain team's ol' reliable and this team is no exception to that sentiment. With the ability swift swim and great speed anyways :Barraskewda: can almost always find a way to be a threat into the opposition with rain boosted banded liquidation. to be able to hit into :Ogerpon-Wellspring: as well as to have a strong fighting type move the second moveslot is close combat for a bit of additional coverage. to have a move to pivot into another threat upon switch in as well as having another strong stab option the third moveslot is flip turn. Finally since this team struggles with priority and we don't want to get 6-0ed by :Kingambit: the last move slot is aqua jet, and we're running tera water to amplify its stab options.

:Iron Treads: :

To have a rocker and a check into :Raging Bolt: :Iron Treads: definitely felt like a necessary addition to this team. To ensure that we are able to get rocks up we're running a bulky speed booster set to ensure both that it can live most hits and get up rocks as well as to apply some level of offensive pressure. to have a stab option to target into threats like :Gholdengo: and :Raging Bolt: the second moveslot is earthquake. This team has quite a few pokemon that are extremely weak to hazards and so keeping them off is of the highest importance, so to do what we can to prevent that the third moveslot is rapid spin. Finally to try to block spin by blowing itself up as well as in certain circumstances do solid damage into things like :Hatterene: and :Great Tusk: the last move slot is steel beam as it provides a stab option for doing damage and blowing yourself up to either block defog from :Corviknight: or block rapid spin from Tusk in those matchups where hazards are vital. To have a makeshift spin blocker as well as gaining an espeed immunity the tera typing on this guy is ghost.

:Talonflame: :

Having Aqua Jet as the only priority move on a team with so many fragile pokemon felt like it wouldn't work, but also I wanted a pokemon that would directly take advantage of the rain and have priority, and :Talonflame: perfectly fit that very specific parameter. With Access to the ability gale wings and a 4x resist into the fimpinator :Lokix: (which can be really difficult for many ho teams to handle) with its fire flying typing, :Talonflame: fits with rain surprisingly well , and with that 165 (with stab boost) 100 percent accurate priority :Hurricane: , this pokemon applies immediate pressure. To have a bit of attack investment to catch special walls off guard (as well as the fact that 386 speed is a speed tier that helps with :Darkrai: and :Weavile: but 385 speed can do the same thing) and with that we're running dual wingbeat to avoid recoil. To have a strong fire type stab to hit into mons like :Corviknight: and :Skarmory: the third moveslot is overheat. for the final moveslot for a strong hit that allows for a bit more coverage the last move slot was hyper beam. To make Hurricane and dual wingbeat hit even harder we're running tera fly as it can help ensure some ko's that would be missed otherwise.

With that being said I hope someone can have fun with this extremely gimmicky team, have a great day Y'all!
