Caribolt @ Magnet / Normalium Z
Ability: Galvanize
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Quick Attack
- Power Whip / Horn Leech
- Return / Double-Edge

With Galvanize, Caribolt flips the defensive conventional use of a Grass-type, becoming a menacing wallbreaker and sweeper thanks to its solid Speed tier and Swords Dance. Galvanize-boosted Quick Attack allows it to knock out Tornadus-T and Choice Scarf Volkraken, two common Pokemon that outspeed Caribolt. From there, Caribolt can choose its Grass-type STAB attack and reliable Electric-type STAB move. Magnet provides a sufficient power boost, while Normalium Z allows it to muscle past Grass- and Dragon-type checks like Jumbao and Mega Latios. Caribolt pairs well with Weavile, which can trap and remove Caribolt's checks with Pursuit, and on screens teams with Tapu Koko and Hawlucha. Unfortunately, the team must be built around Caribolt in order to provide the necessary support for a sweep. Without a Swords Dance boost, its damage output is underwhelming, and its meager bulk limits setup opportunities. Furthermore, it has some solid checks such as Tangrowth, Cyclohm, Necturna, and Weavile, which are common on teams in CAP.

Caribolt fits with Volkraken I haven't really seen any teams that use both Caribolt and Volkraken. and Weavile, which can beat Caribolt's checks, and on screens teams with Tapu Koko and Hawlucha. Unfortunately for Caribolt, it must be built around to provide the proper team support. Without a Swords Dance boost, its damage output is underwhelming, and its meager bulk limits setup opportunities. With Galvanize, Caribolt flips the conventional use of a Grass-type, becoming a menacing wallbreaker and sweeper thanks to its solid speed tier and Swords Dance. Galvanize with Quick Attack allows it to knock out Tornadus-T and Choice Scarf Volkraken, two common Pokemon that outspeed Caribolt. From there, Caribolt can choose its Grass-type STAB attack and reliable Electric-type STAB (not a grammar thing, but you don't have an Electric STAB listed on the moveset). Magnet provides a sufficient power boost, while Normalium Z allows it to muscle past Grass- and Dragon-type checks like Jumbao and Mega Latios. Without a Swords Dance boost, its damage output is underwhelming, and its meager bulk limits setup opportunities. Furthermore, it has some solid checks such as Tangrowth, Cyclohm, Necturna, and Weavile, which appear commonly on teams are all common in the tier. (i think this might just flow a little easier)

With Galvanize, Caribolt flips the conventional defensive use (not necessary at all, but you have a few spare characters to play with so why not hand-hold the reader) of a Grass-type, becoming a menacing wallbreaker and sweeper thanks to its solid speed Speed tier and Swords Dance. Caribolt fits with Weavile, which can trap and remove (same as above) Caribolt's checks with Pursuit, and on screens teams with Tapu Koko and Hawlucha. Unfortunately for Caribolt, it must be built around to provide obtain the proper team support. (with the original wording, Caribolt is the subject of "provide" and giving itself support, which isn't true. this is one way to fix it; another would be deinosaur's, if you want to keep "provide".) Without a Swords Dance boost, its damage output is underwhelming, and its meager bulk limits setup opportunities. Furthermore, it has some solid checks such as Tangrowth, Cyclohm, Necturna, and Weavile, which are all common in CAP. (or a similar replacement, "appear commonly" is just a bit awkward) appear commonly on teams.

deinosaur nice check! good call especially with the last sentence :) you missed only a few objective things, namely capitalizing Speed in Speed tier and not using STAB as a noun.

I changed "Caribolt fits with Weavile" to "Caribolt pairs well with Weavile"

And I changed the sentence to: Unfortunately, the team must be built around Caribolt in order to provide the necessary support for a sweep.

If these are ok, consider this done :)
