Continuing our tradition of giving Tapu Bulu a spotlight every six months, this time we're covering its Choice Band set. It shouldn't be any surprise that Tapu Bulu is one of the stronger Pokémon in OU, as its Choice Band Wood Hammer can OHKO even Pokemon that resist it, such as Tornadus-T and Serperior after Stealth Rock. Tapu Bulu's typing is also very nice; while primary switch-ins to all of the following Pokémon are strongly recommended, Tapu Bulu can at least take a hit from and punish the likes of Ash-Greninja, Mega Alakazam, Garchomp, and Tapu Koko, not to mention it can gain plenty of health back via Horn Leech. Aside from secondary checks to the aforementioned Pokémon, Choice Scarf Kartana is a wonderful ally, as it takes advantage of Grassy Terrain and appreciates Tapu Bulu softening up Grass-resistant Pokemon. Magnezone is also notable, as it rids Tapu Bulu of annoyances like Mega Scizor, Celesteela, Kartana, and Mega Mawile.

Tapu Bulu's typing is also very nice, while secondary switch ins to all of the following Pokémon are strongly recommended, Tapu Bulu can at least take a hit from and punish back the likes of Ash-Greninja, Mega Alakazam, Garchomp, and Tapu Koko, not to mention it can gain plenty of health back via Horn Leech. It sounds like Tapu Bulu is your primary check to these Pokemon, which it should never be so reword that. Something like "its typing allows it to act as a secondary switch in to xy and z" works. Aside from secondary checks to the aforementioned Pokémon, Choice Scarf Kartana is a wonderful ally, as it takes advantage of Grassy Terrain and can claim games with ease. You should mention that Tapu Bulu just busts open Grass-type resists, making Kartana that much more threatening alongside the Grassy Terrain boost. Magnezone is also notable as it rids Tapu Bulu of annoyances like Mega Scizor, Celesteela, Kartana, and Mega Mawile.

I'd really like to see a mention that Zygarde leaving freed Tapu Bulu up a lot in item choice, because I feel like this is what really enabled the rise of Choice Band Tapu Bulu.
