- Dragon Ascent
- Stone Edge
- U-turn
[SET COMMENTS]
Choice Band Landorus-T is a strong wallbreaker and pivot, utilizing its stellar Attack stat and high base power moves to become a strong threat. Stone Edge hits foes like Rotom-W, Zapdos, and Thundurus-T, while U-Turn lets it pivot out on switch-ins such as Corviknight or Skarmory. A Jolly nature allows Landorus-T to outspeed foes like Meloetta and offensive Great Tusk, while Adamant lets Landorus-T have a chance to 2HKO Rotom-W and physically defensive Ting-Lu after Stealth Rock chip. Teammates with setup moves like Gholdengo and Raging Bolt appreciate Landorus-T’s ability to bait in Pokemon like Rotom-W, Corviknight, and Skarmory and pivot out, giving said teammates a free turn to set up. Landorus-T works well with partners like Ogerpon-W who can wear down shared checks like Corviknight and Skarmory. Due to its middling Speed stat, Landorus-T is liable to being revenge killed by Pokemon like Kyurem, Latios, and Ogerpon-W, so a sturdy defensive backbone with Pokemon like Toxapex and Gholdengo is recommended. Both Tera Ground and Tera Flying boost Landorus-T’s STAB moves power, with Tera Flying Dragon Ascent OHKOing Great Tusk and Gyarados, and requiring less chip to 2HKO switch-ins.
