Centerparks Waterfalls

Hi, this is my first time posting a team on here like this. I do realise i'm still bad to at most a decent player at the game, but i'm willing to learn and take up your advice.
I'm sorry if my english is a bit off, since it's not my native language.
Thanks in advance for your help and understanding.

i will add any changes or edits here,
Dragonite, Firepunch > Earthquake

Politoed:

186-male-shiny-frame1.png

Nature: Bold
Ev: 252 HP/ 252 Def/ 4 SAtt
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Drizzle
Attacks:
-Scald
-Toxic
-Protect
-Perish Song

This is my standard opening for i suppose obvious reasons.
-Scald is to hopefully get the burn on switch ins. Also within the rain and having stab the dmg is ok i guess.
-Toxic is to get rid of viable tanks and everything that is not affected by toxic spike.
-Protect is usually used to be able to see what kind of move set they use and possibly lock them into something. The benefits are i get a free turn of leftovers and toxic / burn damage raking up.
- Perish Song is to get rid of those pesky things that tank and are not affected by toxic, also i can make people switch out pokemon that are already set-up or are going to set up for a sweep.

Skarmory:

227.png

Nature: Impish
Ev: 252 HP/ 252 Def/ 4 Att
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
Attacks:

- Stealth Rock
- Roost
- Whirlwind
- Brave Bird

This pokemon is my stealth rock guy, it's got really nice surviveability through it's typing stats and ability. Being able to roost also helps :P
The Whirlwind is usually to just get rid of problem pokemon or things that can setup on you.
All that being said Bravebird is your attacking move being able to do pretty decent dmg without any attacking EVs.

Tentacruel:

073.png

Nature: Calm
Ev: 252 HP/ 252 SDeff/ 4 SAtt
Item: Black Sludge
Ability: Raindish
Attacks:

- Toxic Spikes
- Protect
- Scald
- Rapid Spin

This is another one of my setup guys and also my rapid spinner for opposing entry hazards.
The protect is there for the stall for free raindish + black sludge heal and poison/ burn dmg

Gliscor:

Gliscor%28P%29SpriteMale.png

Nature: Impish
Ev: 252 HP/ 120 Def/ 136 Spe
Ability: Poison Heal
Item: Toxic Orb
Attacks:

- Substitute
- Protect
- Ice Fang
- Earthquake

This and politoed are my 2 favorite guys, i usually get this guy out when i can make a electric or earth type of move of they want to status effect me with something then usually this is my go to guy. That being said, the Ev are laid out so that it can outspeed most of it's threats and i do think i might take down the speed a little bit because the thought behind it all was to be able to outspeed a adamant dragonite without the dragon dance but i might aswell put more into atk or def so that the turn he sets up i can go for dmg.

Toxicroack:

454-female-shiny-frame1.png

Nature: Adamant
Ev: 252 HP / 252 Att / 4 Def
Ability: Dry Skin
Item: Black Sludge
Attack:

- Ice Punch
- Bulk Up
- Sucker Punch
- Cross Chop

This guy is a bit of an out to things like latios / latias with it's sucker punch.
He's got pretty good type coverage add that together with bulk up rain dish and black sludge and he can be very dangerous at times.

Dragonite
:

dragonite.png

Nature: Jolly
Ev: 4 HP/ 252 Att/ 252 Spe
Ability: Multiscale
Item: Lum Berry
Attacks:

- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Extreme Speed
- Earthquake

This is probably the standard dragonite sweeping machine everyone has in his or her team. The Lumberry is for status effects so being able to continue outrage with no downside.
The Dragon Dance is for setting up you can o this either way by getting hit and probably survive trough multiscale, or you could force him/ her to switch out which gives you a free turn to set up the Dance you just need to get of one or 2 dragon dances and you could start sweeping whole teams apart.

Thank you for your time reading, critisizing this and thank you for helping me out.

@mods i hope i did this correct so the topic won't need to be closed.

On dragonite run earthquake over fire punch. First of all it's a rain team so that's kinda contradictory. Second of all it deals with steels too such as jirachi, magnezone, and even heatran which u can't deal with if u had fire punch.

As MojoMonke said, use EQ over Fire Punch.

This, however, does leave you susceptible to Skarmory, somewhat.
I'd suggest some electric type, maybe Magnezone, over Gliscor. Magnezone and Dragonite are an amazing duo. Since this is a rain team, my usual HP Fire kick with Magnezone won't work. That leaves you with HP Ice, which is just fine. Also allows you to spam Thunder to your heart's content. You may want to watch out for Scizor's Superpower, though.

I'd say use this Choice Scarf Magnezone set, personally:

Magnezone @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Magnet Pull
EVs: 20 HP / 252 SAtk / 236 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Volt Switch
- Thunder
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Signal Beam/Flash Cannon

This allows you to outspeed Tornadus since you're not getting past Starmie any time soon. But below Tornadus that leaves Gengar, Latios, etc. I put Signal Beam due to my personal vendetta on Celebi, but Flash Cannon's generally a better option (Magnezone wishes for better moves).

@mojo monkey thanks for the tip, i was contemplating Earthquake a while ago. I guess i just forgot the whole topic lol.

@Crona thanks, i'll test it out and let you know how it works for me.

Other than that. Are there any major weaknesses to the team, something that could sweep straight trough my defences?

Hi, your team looks extremely vulnerable to Volt-Turn because Rotom-W is a huge threat to you; Politoed, Tentacruel, Skarmory and Gliscor are all threatened by its dual STAB moves while Dragonite wont enjoy taking an HP ice or a Will-O-Wisp to the face. To help, I highly recommend Ferrothorn over Skarmory. Ferro can do everything Skarm can but it also brings a much needed electric resist to your team. A moveset with Power Whip / Stealth Rock / Leech Seed / Gyro Ball and an EV spread of 252 HP / 60 Def / 196 SDef with a Sassy nature would suffice. Ferro also benefits from the rain because its Fire weakness is reduced so its quite the logical choice. Good Luck.

Rotom-W and Starmie will give your team some problems. Starmie is a bit more manageable with Toxicroak's Sucker Punch, although aside from that its a clean 6-0 (Tentacruel can take some hits, however it can't do much in return). I think Skarmory is the most dispensable member of your team as Gliscor and Politoed already provides you with solid switch-ins to physical threats. I'm going to suggest a Ferrothorn over Skarmory. Ferro is a great check to Starmie and Rotom-W, while also providing your team with Spikes, Stealth Rock and Thunder Wave support to aid a Toxicroak sweep. While Ferrothorn does a decent job with opposing dragons, without Skarmory's phazing you'll need a more reliable way than Extremeppeed or Sucker Punch of revenge killing them if they manage to set up. Scarf Salamence could preform this role as your team would do a fine job of supporting it. Mence outspeed all +1 dragons and greatly bennifits from Spikes from Ferrothorn. Another cool thing about mence is that it can lure in Skarmory and drop it with a rain boosted Hydro Pump, paving the way for your Toxicroak.

Ferrothorn | Leftovers | Iron Barbs
Sassy | 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SpD
Power Whip / Thunder Wave / Spikes / Stealth Rock

Salamence | Choice Scarf | Moxie/Intimidate
Naughty | 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Outrage / Dragon Claw / Hydro Pump / Earthquake

Hope I helped! Just started team rating so sorry if the advise sucks :/

i'll take this into account and i will try it. I was thinking of skarmory or ferrothorn but i couldn't really pick but what did it for me was the skarmory after i had put out the hazards i could use whirlwind to do slow dmg.
Thanks for the advice.

Lol, now i gotta go breed me a bagon.
(btw are bagons out in the dw? and howmany points do you need for it?)
Thanks

Bagons are out for DW.

Come with Dragon Dance OR Outrage (out of useful moves, Bite is the third).
Requires 10,000 points.

Actually, while Crona's suggestion is a good one, Magnezone is arguably outclassed as a Scarf user by... Magneton. Yes, Magneton. While the difference in power is noticeable, Magneton's Choice Scarf set allows you to outspeed key Pokemon that Magnezone would never dream of. These include Starmie, Dugtrio, +1 Adamant Gyarados, and +1 Adamant Dragonite, all Pokemon that can cause huge problems to your team if left unchecked.

Magneton!
move 1: Thunderbolt / Thunder
move 2: Signal Beam / Flash Cannon
move 3: Hidden Power Ice
move 4: Volt Switch
item: Choice Scarf
ability: Magnet Pull
nature: Timid
evs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe

Thunderbolt is more consistent against opposing teams while Thunder is stronger. Signal Beam is for Celebi - also a big threat, as a Nasty Plot Celebi can plow through most of your team - but Flash Cannon is stronger.

(For any QC members who see this, I'm working on the analysis still, don't give it an inactivity lock...)
