Welcome to the 3rd annual Challenge Cup Cup, the premiere Challenge Cup team tournament on Pokemon Showdown! After the excitement and high stakes of the Random Battles Team Tournament, we’re here to kick back and have a good time with everyone’s favorite Extremely Serious And Skillful format, Challenge Cup. In CCC, 8 teams battle it out to prove their skills across varied Challenge Cup formats.
Tournament Structure and Formats
In the spirit of light and breezy Challenge Cup games, CCC3 will now take place over 5 weeks. In the first 3 weeks, two 4-team brackets will play round robin matchups; the top 2 teams from each bracket will then proceed to glorious competition in the Winners Bracket, and the remaining 4 teams will squabble and cavort in the very prestigiousLosersChallenge Bracket!
Each team will play 12 matchups per week. The formats are:

How does Mystery Box work?
Each week, the hosts will randomly select two outside-the-box formats to include in each weekly matchup, without repeats. The formats are:
Teams and Managers
Each team will have 12 starter slots and 3 substitute slots, and will be drafted via snake format on March 27th (exact time TBA; join our Discord server, below!). The participating teams and their managers, listed in draft order, are:

To sign up for the tournament, please fill out the form below. Signups will close on March 26th. The tournament is expected to start on March 27th, and the regular season will last the following 3 weeks, with playoffs immediately afterwards. Please state any potential inactivity during this time when signing up. Please copy and paste the form below.
