Choice Band Cacturne (With Some Calcs)

Well, walls were mentioned because walls would normally eat certain Choice Band / Specs types, however, if you see it fit to counter walls, that's fine too (though IMO, Nidoqueen?).

Eh, I think I'm going to reduce the attacks somewhat. Brick Break OR Dynamicpunch > Focus Punch and Low Kick, and HP Ice > Return I guess.

I see that. But do you really want to leave stuff like Salamence alive? It doesn't have to set-up before, but preferably before 'Mence can come back in. Seems cleaner, is all I'm saying, rather than having to potential deal with an attack. Of course, setting up SR is easy.

And, since it can get through walls without TR, it can sweep with TR(rather than get revenge-killed or set-up on, depending on what you used to kill.) So, again, that seems to be where it shines. You can kill walls with quite a few pokemon...but Cacturne does it best with TR support....
Just saying it doesn't need it to do what it's supposed to.

On metalkid's calculator just use the Override move for Low Kick. Set the type to fighting, BP 120, physical, for Tyranitar.

Alright, thanks.

Well the thing is, it's still a 1HKO with Brick Break anyways, so it doesn't matter that much. Low Kick was only considered for heavier foes, and usually Brick Break would do more in cases like Weavile and such (but it's kind of risky putting yourself in front of one anyways).

I don't really like sucker punch+choice band as most people aren't attack twice when they see sucker punch. However with life orb you only do

53.57% - 63.10% to Hippowdon (max HP + Def)

which isn't a guaranteed 2hko w/ leftovers.

What do you mean? That is a guarenteed 2HKO. Leftovers heals 6.25%, so you only need to do a minimum of 53.125% to 2HKO anything.
