Choice Galllade

I can't believe that you haven't put it in the analysis. The old, well known set.

Gallade

[SET]
Name: Choice
Move 1: Close Combat
Move 2: Psycho Cut
Move 3: Night Slash
Move 4: Stone Edge/Ice Punch

Nature: Jolly/Adamant
Item: Choice Band/Choice Scarf
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spe/4 SpD

[SET COMMENTS]

  • Very strong with a Choice Band, capable of destroying whole teams
  • Combination of CC, PC, NS and SE gives a wonderful 14-type coverage
  • With Choice Scarf reaching 426 Speed, outspeeding, for example, max. speed Espeon and max. speed Infernape
  • Choice Banded Night Slash will mostly OHKO Jellicent, whereas Close Combat always OHKOs Ferrothorn
[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]

  • After surviving a Dark attack, for example a simple Payback, reaches amazing 861 Attack number
  • Optional usage of Trick in slot 4 will grant you an opportunity to lose Choice and select moves freely
  • Somebody capable of taking down Pokemon resisting fighting (Ghost, Psychic, Flying) is helpful, e.g. Banded Tyranitar
I know, there's lots of examples for OU, but for this tier this set is meant. I've been using it recently and it worked really well.

It's QC, not GP.

Also, I think both Ice Punch and Stone Edge should be main options, with Psycho Cut being slashed with Night Slash. Gallade really needs both so that it can threaten a significant portion of the metagame; the only thing Psycho Cut hits much harder than Close Combat or another option is Tentacruel iirc.

What does this Gallade do that Mienshao doesn't do better?
Anyways, Ice Punch is completely required for Gliscor, lol. Not sure about its legality with Justified.

the main niche about choice gallade over physical attackers is trick, at least mention that somewhere but imo should be slashed over night slash, which is too weak, not to mention resisted CC does more.

Gallade is a fighter that beats other fighters. That is a very valuable trait in this meta. Something like Scrafty loses to other fighters and therefore requires more/different support. Meinshao is also much less bulky and has nothing to hit ghosts with.

Whole lotta nothin. Questionable set as-is when you consider that the niche of strong CBer is kinda monopolized by Terrakion, but then you take into account a nonexistent DW ability being mentioned (which means the set clearly wasn't tested) and it's clear that this won't really be going anywhere.
