[SET COMMENTS]

Kyogre's strong rain-boosted STAB moves and decent Speed tier make it a good Choice Scarf user, and with this item it becomes a formidable revenge killer and late-game cleaner that is very hard to deal with when opposing Koraidon is chipped sufficiently, with barely anything being able to switch into it. Choice Scarf Kyogre also allows other Choice Scarf users such as Koraidon and Calyrex-S to run more offensive sets such as Swords Dance and Nasty Plot. Water Spout can pick up crucial OHKOs on many top threats such as Zacian-C, Ho-Oh, and non-Choice Scarf Calyrex-S while also OHKOing Arceus-Fairy after three layers of Spikes. Origin Pulse lets Kyogre retain its threatening offensive ability even when it's damaged and Water Spout's Base Power is diminished. Ice Beam is used to super effectively hit Dragon-type threats such as Koraidon, Eternatus, Giratina-O, and Miraidon. Koraidon is particularly important to hit because of Orichalcum Pulse wiping Drizzle away. Thunder is useful against opposing Kyogre, Arceus-Water, and Tera Water users like Arceus-Fairy. A Timid nature is necessary for Kyogre to outspeed Zacian-C and Calyrex-S. Tera Water allows Kyogre to overpower bulkier Pokemon that can otherwise survive multiple uses of Water Spout like Eternatus and Blissey, while also guaranteeing an OHKO on Zacian-C with Origin Pulse. Tera Ghost can be used as an alternative, making Kyogre immune to Koraidon's Low Kick and Arceus's Extreme Speed, letting it secure a revenge kill. Tera Flying grants Kyogre an immunity to Sticky Web and also allows it to avoid chip damage from Toxic Spikes and Spikes at the cost of becoming weak to Stealth Rock. Tera Flying is especially preferred when not paired with a Defog or Magic Bounce support partner.

Choice Scarf Kyogre fits mainly on bulky offense teams, which cherish its ability to revenge kill Koraidon, Zacian-C, and Calyrex-S, freeing their own Koraidon to run non-Choice Scarf sets. Arceus-Fairy is an extremely important partner for Kyogre, as it serves as a good check to Koraidon, which can revenge kill Choice Scarf Kyogre not locked into Ice Beam. Arceus-Fairy is also able to block Koraidon’s Dragon-type STAB moves and force it out as well as checking Arceus, which can threaten Kyogre with its powerful priority Extreme Speed. Arceus-Fairy also checks speed-boosting threats like Koraidon and Arceus-Ground, which can outspeed Choice Scarf Kyogre after a turn of setup. Since Kyogre is vulnerable to Sticky Web and other entry hazards, it's essential to fit Hatterene or Defog Giratina-O on the team if possible. Hatterene can prevent hazards from entering the field with Magic Bounce in order to increase Kyogre's longevity, completely wall most common Eternatus sets, and provide a safe switch in for Kyogre via Baton Pass, which can also pass Calm Mind boosts. In return, Kyogre can revenge kill a Zacian-C, which threatens both Arceus-Fairy and Hatterene. Landorus-T is able to check Koraidon because of Intimidate and chip it with Rocky Helmet while also being able to safely pivot Kyogre in via a slow U-turn. Arceus can also be used as a partner, as it provides a switch-in to Choice Scarf Calyrex-S. In return, Kyogre is able to constantly pressure walls like Arceus-Fairy and Ho-Oh. Ting-Lu is also a superb teammate, as it can check Choice Scarf Calyrex-S, provide a safe switch-in to Miraidon, and set up Spikes, which can assist Kyogre's wallbreaking ability.

- Water Spout
- Origin Pulse / Surf I don't think Surf is really worth a slash. you have like a 75% chance to kill Calyrex-S with Surf while you always guarantee an OHKO with Origin Pulse, and the chances of surf killing Calyrex-S is lower than Origin Pulse missing. So I don't think it deserves a mention.

[SET COMMENTS]

Kyogre’s inherently strong Water Spout paired with one of the best coverage movesets in the game make it a deadly good (deadly is just overselling it, in almost every case Kora and Caly-S are better scarfers), so "good" makes more sense. Choice Scarf user, becoming a formidable revenge killer and late game late-game cleaner while allowing Pokémon Pokemon (we don't do write "Pokemons" with the apostrophe in analyses, keep that in mind) such as Koraidon,(Remove Comma) Landorus-Therian, (Remove Comma) Lando-T never runs SD, this is just wrong and Calyrex-Shadow run more offensive sets such as swords dance or nasty plot Swords Dance and Nasty Plot respectively. Unlike Koraidon as a scarf user, Kyogre threatens an OHKO on Ho-Oh with the ability to revenge kill opposing Koraidon and Zacian-Cs Zacian-C this is making it seem that Scarf Kora doesn't revenge kill Zac-C, which is wrong. make that clear. Water Spout threatens many archetypes, whether offensive or defensive including top metagame threats such as Zacian-C, Ho-Oh, Extreme Speed Killer Arceus, Arceus-Fairy, Arceus-Ground, Landorus-Therian, Necrozma-Dusk-Mane, Calyrex-Ice, and non scarfed forms of Calyrex-Shadow. This just sounds very scuffed and a lot of this is also unnecessary mentions (its clear that Groundy and Lando-T can't switch into Ogre, and Extreme Speed actually scares Kyogre, so that is not true. Mention important KO's Spout is able to get (Zac-C, Arceus-Fairy, etc from full HP. do mention 1 layer of Spikes for Arc-Fairy though Origin Pulse and Surf (as written above, we're not slashing Surf) retain Kyogre’s Kyogre's (wrong apostrophe) threatening offensive ability even when damaged and unable to use Water Spout. Ice beam is used to hit dragon and flying type Dragon-type threats such as Koraidon, Eternatus, Giratina-Origin Giratina-O, Landorus-Therian this is clear, no need to mention it and Miraidon super-effectively. Koraidon is particularly important to hit because of Orichalcum Pulse wiping Kyogre’s Kyogre's Drizzle away. Thunder is useful against opposing Kyogres Kyogre, Arceus-Water, and opponents that like to run Tera Water like Arceus-Fairy, Necrozma-DM, and Arceus-Ground Honestly, I think none of NDM and Groundy like to run Tera Water.A timid nature is necessary to outspeed Zacian-C and Calyrex-Shadow Calyrex-S. The different tera options are usually Water, Ghost, and Flying. this line doesn't add any value. Tera Water allows Kyogre to overpower bulkier Pokémon that can otherwise live multiple Water Spouts such as Necrozma-Dusk-Mane it can't switch into Kyogre's Spout and special checks like Eternatus and Blissey. Tera water is also a guaranteed OHKO to full health OHKO means that its from full HP Zacian-C with Origin Pulse. Tera Ghost can be used as an alternative making Kyogre immune to Extreme Speed, allowing it to negate chip which weakens Water Spout and revenge kill Extreme Speed Killer Arceus Extreme Killer Arceus. Mention that it also becomes immune to Korai's Low Kick. On the negative side, mention that it becomes weak to Scarf Caly's Astral Barrage Tera Flying provides crucial resistances to Grass Grass- and Fighting-type moves, allowing it to live Low Kick from Koraidon and Grass Knot from Choice Specs and Life Orb variants of Calyrex-Shadow Calyrex-S before securing a revenge kill on both.

Choice Scarf Kyogre fits mainly on bulky offense teams, which cherish its ability to revenge kill Koraidon, Zacian-C, and Calyrex-Shadow, freeing their own Koraidon to safely pass on the scarfer role. Arceus-Fairy is an extremely important partner for Kyogre, as it serves as a good physical Koraidon check, which can revenge kill a scarfed Kyogre not locked into Ice Beam. Arceus-Fairy is able to block both Koraidon’s Scale Shot and Outrage, securing a burn or paralyze on the Koraidon and allowing Kyogre to safely secure a revenge kill. On Will-O-Wisp or Taunt sets, Arceus-Fairy can also check Calyrex-Ice, which Scarf Kyogre loses to due to its lack of bulk investment and resisted coverage against Calyrex-Ice. I don't think you need to mention this as such Hatterene can prevent entry hazards from entering the field to keep Water Spout strong probably say - "increases Kyogre's longevity" which means it'll do more damage with Spout, something along those lines while using Magic Bounce to disable Pokémon that might carry Focus Sash as an item, and allowing Kyogre to revenge kill certain threats such as Koraidon much more effectively with chip and paralyzation from Nuzzle. Hatterene also provides Draining Kiss, allowing it to effectively chip dragon-types while ensuring it never faints, provides a slow baton pass giving Kyogre safe switches, and learns Psychic and Psyshock threatening Eternatus and Koraidon. unnecessary info, not required. The only thing worth mentioning here is that Hatt prevents entry hazards and brings Kyogre in via BP, and that's about it. Landorus-Therian can fully counter Zacian-C, which revenge kills Kyogre locked into any move other than Water Spout. Landorus-Therian also serves as a good switch-in to Koraidon and provides Kyogre free ins with U-Turns slower than most of the metagame. Lando-T is able to check Koraidon and Zacian-C because of Intimidate and Rocky Helmet. Furthermore, Lando-T is able to safely pivot in Kyogre via U-turn Just reworded it so that it doesn't sound redundant. Mention Gira-O as a partner as it can defog hazards away, increasing Kyogre's longevity. Also, mention Arc as a potential teammate as Kyogre is able to pressurise Arceus-Fairy and defensive walls, which in return helps Arceus. Also, for what its worth - Ting-Lu is also a great teammate - can check Scarf Caly-S and Miraidon, and is able to setup Spikes which assist Kyogre to break through.
QC 1/2. Some good things and some not good things. Not too bad for your first analysis.

[SET COMMENTS]

Kyogre’s inherently strong rain-boosted Water Spout and Origin Pulse origin pulse is still pretty strong so i think u should mention that as well paired with a decent speed tier one of the best coverage movesets in the game coverage is not what makes choice scarf ogre good, not to mention scarfers are not making best use of coverage since it'll involve a lot of prediction. should instead explain how rain boosted water moves coupled with decent speed tier allow it to become very hard to deal with once koraidon is chipped make it a good Choice Scarf user, becoming a formidable revenge killer and late-game cleaner once Koraidon is weakened while allowing other Choice Scarf users Pokemon such as Koraidon and Calyrex-Shadow to run more offensive sets such as Swords Dance and Nasty Plot respectively. Unlike Koraidon as a scarf user, Kyogre threatens an OHKO on Ho-Oh with the ability to revenge kill opposing Koraidon and Zacian-C, though Koraidon can also revenge Zacian. ohkoing ho-oh is super obvious for any kyogre, and scarf koraidon revenge kills zac-c and other korai just as effectively as kyogre Water Spout can pick up crucial OHKOs many top metagame threats such as Zacian-C, Ho-Oh, and non scarfed sets forms of Calyrex-Shadow, and OHKOes Arceus-Fairy after three layers of Spikes. if one layer of hazards are set up. 252 SpA Kyogre Water Spout (150 BP) vs. 240 HP / 0 SpD Arceus-Fairy in Rain: 351-414 (79.5 - 93.8%) -- 43.8% chance to OHKO after 1 layer of Spikes ; u need 3 layers of spikes Origin Pulse retains Kyogre's threatening offensive ability even when damaged and unable to use Water Spout. Ice beams are used to super effectively hit dragon-type threats such as Koraidon, Eternatus, Giratina-O, and Miraidon. Koraidon is particularly important to hit because of Orichalcum Pulse wiping Kyogre’s Drizzle away. Thunder is useful against opposing Kyogre, Arceus-Water, and Tera Water users like Arceus-Fairy opponents that like to run Tera Water like Arceus-Fairy. A timid nature is necessary to outspeed Zacian-C and Calyrex-S. Tera Water allows Kyogre to overpower bulkier Pokemon that can otherwise live multiple Water Spouts, such as special checks like Eternatus and Blissey. Tera Water is also a guaranteed OHKO to Zacian-C with Origin Pulse. Tera Ghost can be used as an alternative making Kyogre immune to Extreme Speed, allowing it to negate chip which weakens Water Spout and espeed is not chip when it almost 2hkoes ogre letting it revenge kill Extreme Killer Arceus, as well as providing immunity to Koraidon’s Low Kick. Tera Flying provides crucial resistances to Grass- and Fighting-type moves, allowing it to live Low Kick from Koraidon and Grass Knot from Choice Specs and Life Orb variants of Calyrex-S before securing a revenge kill on both. not the real reason you'd use tera flying, it's for webs immunity (with the bonus of being immune to tspikes and spikes albeit at the cost of becoming weak to srock), also mention tera flying is especially preferred when ur not running defog/mbounce support w ogre

Choice Scarf Kyogre fits mainly on bulky offense teams, which cherish its ability to revenge kill Koraidon, Zacian-C, and Calyrex-S Calyrex-Shadow, freeing their own Koraidon to safely pass on the scarfer role. Arceus-Fairy is an extremely important partner for Kyogre, as it serves as a good Koraidon check, which can revenge kill a scarfed Kyogre not locked into Ice Beam. Arceus-Fairy is able to block both Koraidon’s Scale Shot and Outrage., securing a burn or paralyze on the Koraidon and allowing Kyogre to safely secure a revenge kill just saying it threatens koraidon out is fine, not like korai will stay on wisp/twave. also i dont understand how fairyceus safely allows ogre to rk? fairyceus doesn't have any pivot move to let in ogre safely. also mention checking arc that can threaten to weaken ogre with priority espeed Hatterene can prevent entry hazards from entering the field in order to increase Kyogre’s longevity. mention hatterene bringing in kyogre safely with baton pass as well as passing on calm mind boosts. hatt specifically walls common etern sets, that should be mentioned. mention kyogre revenge killing zacian-c for both fairies, Giratina-O can also remove hazards from the field via Defog. Landorus-T Lando-T is able to check Koraidon and Zacian-C zac-c is not an issue for scarf ogre because of Intimidate and chips it with Rocky Helmet rocky helm helps to weaken korai, it doesn't play any part in "checking" korai. Furthermore, Landorus-T Lando-T is able to safely pivot Kyogre in via a slow U-turn. Arceus can also be used as a partner as Kyogre is able to constantly pressure pressurize defensive walls like Arceus-Fairy and Ho-Oh and open opportunities for Arceus. don't get how ogre opens up opportunities for arc, yes it does threaten arc checks but that's not giving setup opportunities. also, mention arc switching in to choice scarf calys Ting-Lu is also a superb teammate as it can counter check Scarf Calyrex-S Caly-S and provides a safe switch-in to Miraidon. Ting-Lu can also set up Spikes which can assist Kyogre’s breaking ability. u need to mention scarf ogre's flaws like being slower than +1 koraidon, arceus-ground so it appreciates walls like fairyceus landot and also being super weak to webs and hazards in general if not running hatt/defog
