    A freddo is a small chocolate bar shaped like a frog, usually sold in corner shops. They used to be 10 pence (~13 cents) as recently as about 10 years ago, but have now jumped all the way to 25-30p; the running joke is using the price of a freddo as a measure for inflation.

    Hey just so you know, I finished the unfinished sections of the OMotM/LCotM Spotlight so I think its ready to go into GP phase (unless it needs to go into QC phase I don't really know how this works)

    I hate to be pretentious but there is a punctuation error in your newest article (it's amazing btw) "The main idea here is that, given it's a really fast Ghost-type, it can outspeed most enemies and give them Normalize" should be "The main idea here is that (given it's a really fast Ghost-type) it can outspeed most enemies and give them Normalize"

    Commas can be used in this way. "Given that it's a really fast Ghost-type, it can..." is by itself valid, and including "The main idea here is that" beforehand doesn't technically require a separator between "that" and "given", but one for clarity / to avoid a run-on sentence doesn't hurt. In this case, parentheses and commas are basically identical, but neither is wrong.

    Hey, just wanted to say thanks for the amcheck feedback. Was starting to get discouraged since it feels like it's always the same two people reading my stuff (I appreciate them too but more voices are always awesome)

    Hi Tea Guzzler, I was wondering if making BH doubles a thing could ever happen? I don't know how we'd check if there was interest, but I've been messing around with some friends and it's honestly really fun, mainly because BH generally tends to be a slower paced format, and doubles changes that greatly. According to Lonhhiep it used to be a thing, but didn't come back in gen9.

    Hi, as far as i'm aware BH Doubles was never officially recognized and was only played as a sort-of side meta for some unofficial tournaments (it might have been before I joined Smogon/Showdown, I don't know). BH Doubles would almost definitely end up as an OM Mashup, and i'm not massively clued in on the process of how those work in terms of approving metagames, but that'd likely be where to start.
