Rotom-W makes for an excellent Choice Scarf user with its great STAB combination, natural bulk, and access to Trick. Hydro Pump is Rotom-W's strongest STAB option, dealing with Pokemon that are weak to Water such as Arcanine, Diggersby, and Rhyperior along with neutral targets such as non-Mirror Coat Magnezone and Zeraora. Thunderbolt targets bulkier threats that Hydro Pump cannot break through such as Primarina and Urshifu-R. Trick can stop certain stall Pokemon such as Galarian Corsola and Type: Null by locking them into either a setup move or an attacking move that can't 3HKO, with Rotom-W using Rest at intervals in order to avoid getting KOed. The HP investment means Rotom-W will always survive three Night Shades from Galarian Corsola, and the Defense investment ensures survival against Choice Band Urshifu-S's Close Combat. The Speed investment with a Choice Scarf allows Rotom-W to outspeed +2 Adamant Crustle, while the remaining EVs are invested into Special Attack for maximum damage output.

While Trick allows Rotom-W to beat most stall Pokemon, Whimsicott can use Substitute before Rotom-W can use Trick thanks to Prankster. Aromatisse can also easily take hits from Rotom-W or lock it into Trick with Encore if Rotom-W uses Trick to stop Aromatisse's Substitute + Disable strategy. Rotom-W struggles with specially defensive attackers, such as Sylveon and Snorlax, so it appreciates help from physical wallbreakers such as Rillaboom and Galarian Darmanitan. In return, Rotom-W checks the Fire-types that beat both Rillaboom and Galarian Darmanitan along with other threats such as Choice Band Skarmory and Sap Sipper Azumarill. Due to its lack of coverage, Rotom-W is walled by most Dragon- and Grass-types, so Fairy-types such as Primarina and Sylveon are appreciated to help with the former. In return, Rotom-W checks Steel-types such as Corviknight and Magnezone.

Hydro Pump and Thunderbolt are Rotom's strongest STAB options, the former dealing with []fill in the blank and the latter beating Water- and Flying-types that might resist Hydro Pump. Trick can stop certain stall sets, such as Corviknight and Corsola-Galar, and Rest can be used to stall out Pokémon that are forced to use a weaker move, such as stall Arcanine and Type-Null. Its defensive EVs allow it to live a Liechi-boosted 200 BP Reversal from Cinderace and an Energy Ball from the most common variant of Choice Specs Primarina"the most common variant" is not a great phrase so either find a better example or use "most" over "the most common". Its speed investment allows it to outspeed Cinderace and Scarf Dracovish.

Rotom struggles with Dragon-types such as Dragapult and Haxorus, so Steel-types, likesuch as Corviknight and Steelix, lix does not reliably beat sub+disable which is pult's best/most common set, so either change lix or pult and if you decide on changing pult torment lix would work much better as a dragon checkwork well with Rotom-Wash. Additionally, Corviknight and Steelix check Excadrill while Rotom-Wash checks the Ground- and Fire- such asgive examples of notable fires/grounds as welltypes that beat Corviknight and Steelix. Rotom-W also struggles to beat Grass-types likesuch as Whimsicott and Rillaboom. Ice types, likesuch as Avalugg and Darmanitan-Galar, beat Grass- and Dragon-types such asgive exampleswhile Rotom-Wash checks the Steel-types and stall sets that beat Avalugg and Darmanitan-Galar.
Heads up, you may need to change a few things even after you implement this. Tag me when implemented.

Justification for the defense EVs are that it lives +1 200bp cinderace reversal, but you don't need any investment to live the cinderace analysis spread (+1 112 Atk Cinderace Reversal (200 BP) vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Rotom-Wash: 255-300 (84.1 - 99%) -- guaranteed 2HKO). If they're running a more offensively invested sub liechi cinderace set, you'll simply ohko with pump. Living most of primarina's energy ball is not a good enough justification to run a calm nature with the spdf investment, when you could run another nature such as modest and redistribute the evs from def and spdf into spa. The only prim sets that can beat scarf rotom-w are weakness policy and wacan berry; every other set will lose. I know it's the spread within the set compendium, but in the current meta that could very easily be outdated, or maybe it does different things to what you described. I'd check up on the spread with Nalei. I agree with the HP investment, but outspeeding scarf dracovish is pointless. I think a better spread is 248 HP / 80 SpA / 176 Spe with a timid nature. You are right to point out the EVs were incorrect; we know about this and wanted to brainstorm about the spread. I should point out that we never use calcs w/ specific EV spread investment to justify another EV spread (where you said the Rotom lived the analysis spread Cinderace), because the purpose of published analyses is to future proof stuff, and eving for one specific set (unless it has years of usage) isn't going to future proof things.

I have no idea how you fucked up the hidebar so badly-

But overall it was a good check. I'll move on to the next one.

zxgzxg I'll give this a second check after we figure out a real EV spread

new spread

Rotom-Wash @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 240 HP / 92 Def / 40 SpA / 136 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Hydro Pump
- Trick
- Rest

HP and Def allow you to take x3 night shade from galarian corsola and also choice band urshifu close combat, Spe means you outspeed +2 adamant shell smash crustle, rest is invested into spa for maximum damage output. no rush to implement this. within a week would be good, but you've been really patient with us so i don't mind if you take a little longer

(Insert sentence here about what makes this set usable / good / unique or whatever other thing you want to highlight. It needs a small introduction.) Hydro Pump and Thunderbolt are Rotom's strongest STAB options, the former dealing with Fire-, Ground-, and Rock-types like Arcanine, Diggersby, and Crustle. Thunderbolt targets bulkier threats that Hydro Pump cannot break through such as Primarina Mandibuzz, and Toxapex Urshifu-R. (Mandibuzz isn't super relevant, and Toxapex can confide + recover stall if you click Thunderbolt, so Trick is actually the correct option in that situation.) Trick can stop certain stall sets Pokemon such as Type-Null and Galarian Corsola Galarian Corsola and Type: Null by locking it into a status move and using Rest to recover in the case it uses an attack. either locking them into a setup move or an attacking move that can't 3HKO. With Choice Scarf, Rotom-Wash is fast enough to outspeed Crustle after a Shell Smash boost. Its defensive EVs allow it to live Single Strike Urshifu's Close Combat or Wicked Blow, and can outspeed Adamant Choice Scarf Dracovish. Its HP also allows it to live three Night Shades from Corsola-Galar or three Seismic Tosses from Chansey, allowing Rotom-Wash to safely Trick and recover using Rest. The HP investment means Rotom-W will always live 3 of Galarian Corsola's Night Shade, alongside with defensive EV investment that ensures survival against Choice Band Urshifu's Close Combat. The speed investment with Choice Scarf allow Rotom-W to outspeed +2 Adamant Crustle, while the remaining EVs are invested into SpA for maximum damage output. (Just cleaned it up a little, it's still all the same content.)

While Trick allows Rotom-Wash to beat most stall Pokemon, Whimsicott can use Substitute before Rotom-Wash can Trick it, thanks to Prankster. Aromatisse can also easily live hits from Rotom-Wash or Encore it into Trick if Rotom-Wash attempts to stop Aromatisse's Substitute-Disable strategy with its Choice-Scarf. (Insert point here about using Trick against Skarmory instead of Thunderbolt, as Skarmory is incapable of a 3HKO and Trick prevents Rotom-W from losing to Torment sets. Also mention using Trick against Toxapex, due to the reason outlined in the first paragraph.) Rotom-Wash struggles with specially defensive attackers, such as Sylveon and Snorlax, so Rotom-Wash appreciates help from physical wallbreakers, such as Rillaboom and Darmanitan-Galar. In return, Rotom-Wash checks the Fire-types that beat both Rillaboom and Darmanitan-Galar, along with other counters threats such as Crustle and Skarmory. Choice Band Skarmory and Sap Sipper Azumarill. (Crustle mention is a little shaky here, since we're losing to Choice Band sets.) Due to its lack of coverage, (It's due to double resisted stabs, not a lack of coverage necessarily.) Rotom-Wash also is beat by most Struggles agisnst Dragon-types, so Fairy-types such as Sylveon and Togekiss Primarina and Sylveon are appreciated. work well with it. In return, Rotom-checks some of the Steel-types that beat Sylveon and Togekiss, including Corviknight and Magnezone.

The Speed investment with a Choice Scarf allows Rotom-W to outspeed +2 Adamant Crustle, while the remaining EVs are invested into Special Attack for maximum damage output.

While Trick allows Rotom-W to beat most stall Pokemon, Whimsicott can use Substitute before Rotom-W can use Trick, (RC) thanks to Prankster. Aromatisse can also easily take hits from Rotom-W(add space)or lock it into Trick with Encore if Rotom-W uses Trick to stop Aromatisse's Substitute + Disable strategy. In return, Rotom-W(add space)checks Steel-types such as Corviknight and Magnezone.
