Choice Scarf Sneasler functions as superb speed control with its high Attack and great Speed letting it revenge kill sweepers such as Swords Dance Garchomp and Quaquaval. Sneasler's Poison typing functioning as a Toxic Spikes absorber alongside its ability Poison Touch acting as a status spreader gives Sneasler added utility. U-turn allows Sneasler to keep up momentum while doing great damage to Pokemon such as Hisuian Samurott. In addition Sneasler is able to pivot out of bad match ups such as Corviknight and bring in its teammates safely with U-turn. Switcheroo cripples walls such as Corviknight, Hippowdon, and Toxapex however Throat Chop can be used to hit Ghost types such as Aegislash, Ceruledge, and Dragapult.
Choice Scarf Sneasler fits on bulky offense teams where it appreciates hazard support to wear down walls making Pokemon such as Garchomp excellent teammates as with Flamethrower it's able to keep rocks up against Defog Corviknight. Hisuian Samurott fills the roll of a hazard setter thanks to Ceaseless Edge while also being a soft check to Psychic types such as Mega Delphox and Mega Metagross. Dragapult serves as a nice offensive partner as it's able to threaten out Ghosts such as Aegislash. In return Sneasler is able to threaten Fairy types such as Clefable and Mega Floette and Dark types such as Hisuian Samurott and Kingambit which Sneasler is safely brought in on via Dragapult's U-turn. Sneasler can struggle to deal damage to Pokemon such as Aegislash and Toxapex so Ground types like Garchomp and Excadrill serves as useful partners. Rotom-Wash is able to switch into the Ground moves from Garchomp and Hippowdon as well as Flying moves from Corviknight and Mega Staraptor that are targetted at Sneasler and threaten them out with Hydro Pump or Will-O-Wisp while safely bringing Sneasler in with Volt Switch. Mega Raichu Y is a more offensive partner that deals with Corviknight and Toxapex while luring Hippowdon and Specially Defensive Gliscor with Surf. Wallbreakers such as Ceruledge, Mega Charizard X, and Mega Metagross are able to soften walls such as Corviknight, tank Garchomp and Hippowdon where Sneasler can pick them off with Close Combat.
