[SET COMMENTS]
Calyrex-S is one of the strongest wallbreakers in AG, capable of shredding most common defensive Pokemon with ease thanks to its impressive firepower, highly spammable Astral Barrage, and Speed tier. Additionally, thanks to As One and the ability to Dynamax, Calyrex-S has tremendous snowballing potential. Psyshock lets Calyrex-S damage Blissey and Chansey while also hitting bulky Eternatus harder than Astral Barrage. Trick notably cripples Yveltal — the loss of Heavy-Duty Boots greatly impacts its ability to switch into Calyrex-S — while also crippling Blissey, Chansey, and Tyranitar so Calyrex-S's teammates can exploit them. Aromatherapy allows Calyrex-S to take advantage of the numerous switches that it forces by providing useful team support as a cleric. Alternatively, Nasty Plot gives Calyrex-S a way to boost its damage output after Trick removes its Choice Specs. Choice Specs maximizes Calyrex-S's damage output, notably allowing it to OHKO Zacian-C after Stealth Rock damage.

Calyrex-S fits best on balance teams that appreciate its tremendous firepower and ability to revenge kill Zacian-C and can cover up its weakness to Yveltal. Tyranitar and specially defensive Yveltal make great teammates, soft checking most offensive Yveltal and helping Imposter-proof Calyrex-S. Xerneas and Zacian-C are also great teammates because they heavily pressure both Yveltal and Tyranitar. In return, Calyrex-S heavily threatens their most common check in Necrozma-DM. Offensive Yveltal is also a strong teammate, as it and Calyrex-S share checks in Tyranitar and opposing bulky Yveltal. Thus, each can weaken the other’s checks, allowing either one to sweep late-game. After Calyrex-S uses Trick, Substitute sweepers such as Zekrom and Zygarde-C can set up on a Choice-locked wall. Calyrex-S greatly appreciates Knock Off support from Pokemon like Yveltal, Ferrothorn, and Necrozma-DM in order to force bulky Yveltal to take Stealth Rock damage, putting it in range of a 2HKO from Astral Barrage. Knock Off also reduces the longevity of opposing Tyranitar and Ho-Oh. Additionally, Stealth Rock support is invaluable, forcing Yveltal lacking Heavy-Duty Boots to take chip damage every time it comes in.

Draining Kiss and Leaf Storm can both be used over Aromatherapy, allowing Calyrex-S to break through Yveltal or Tyranitar more directly. However, Draining Kiss is very weak, Leaf Storm weakens Calyrex-S, and neither offers much over Trick. Baton Pass is another niche option, allowing Calyrex-S to effectively bait in Yveltal and Tyranitar for the likes of Zacian-C and Xerneas.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Dark-types**: Yveltal, especially if specially defensive, completely shuts down Calyrex-S and can switch into any of its moves with near impunity bar Trick and the rare Draining Kiss. Tyranitar can switch freely into all of Calyrex-S's attacks except the rare Leaf Storm and then force it out by threatening an OHKO with Foul Play. Tyranitar can then take advantage of the forced switch by setting up Stealth Rock or crippling a switch-in with Thunder Wave. Tyranitar is also vulnerable to Trick but continues to reliably switch into and force out Calyrex-S even after Trick. The more uncommon Umbreon also checks Calyrex-S, switching reliably into any of its attacks, but is also crippled by Trick.

**Revenge Killers**: Calyrex-S can be revenge killed by a few Pokemon. Ditto can come in after Calyrex-S gets a KO and threaten to reverse sweep. Choice Scarf users such as Kyogre and opposing Calyrex-S can force Calyrex-S out. Marshadow can pick off Calyrex-S with Shadow Sneak. Sand Rush Excadrill under sand can also revenge kill Calyrex-S, and it can set up after forcing Calyrex-S out.

Calyrex-S is one of the strongest wallbreakers in AG, capable of shredding most common defensive Pokemon with ease thanks to its impressive firepower and speed tier. Additionally, thanks to its ability, As One, and the ability to Dynamax, Calyrex-S had tremendous snowballing potential, allowing it to clean weakened teams lategame. Astral Barrage is selected as Calyrex-S's primary STAB move, hitting most of the metagame for significant damage, and allowing it to break through common walls such as Necrozma-DM, Ho-Oh, and Zygarde. -fluff- Notably, even specially defensive Yveltal is 2HKOed by Astral Barrage after some chip. -??? [252 SpA Choice Specs Calyrex-Shadow Astral Barrage vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Yveltal: 128-151 (28 - 33.1%) -- guaranteed 4HKO]- Psyshock primarily lets Calyrex-S damage Chansey and Blissey -swap order, Blissey is more prominent- , although it can also help to break through Kyogre and while also hitting bulky Eternatus harder than Astral Barrage -Astral Barrage hits Kyogre for more damage than Psyshock-. Trick lets Calyrex-S cripple common switch-ins, such as -fluff- Yveltal, Blissey, Chansey, and Tyranitar, by forcing them to lock into a single move, -fluff- which can make them exploitable for Calyrex-S's teammates. Additionally, Trick can cripple Chansey, which is dependent on its Eviolite, potentially allowing teammates such as Xerneas to break through more easily. Aromatherapy allows Calyrex-S to take advantage of the numerous switches that it forces by providing useful team support as a cleric. Alternatively, Nasty Plot can be used instead, so that Calyrex has a way to boost its damage output after Tricking away its Choice Specs. Choice Specs are chosen to maximize Calyrex-S's damage output, notably allowing it to OHKO Zacian-C from full health after Stealth Rock damage, as well as OHKOing or 2HKOing almost the entire non-resistant meta -fluff-. The given EVs with a Timid Nature are chosen to maximize Calyrex-S's speed and damage output, notably letting it outspeed Jolly Zacian-C and Modest Choice Scarf Kyogre. -fluff-

[STRATEGY COMMENTS] -strategy comments only encompass oo and checks & counters-
Calyrex-S fits best on balance teams that appreciate its tremendous firepower, and ability to revenge-kill Zacian-C, and can cover up its weakness to Yveltal serve as a cleric -this isn't really worth emphasizing, since Eternatus / Rest Kyogre / Rest Zygarde-C already block status from nearly everything-, while being able to take advantage of Calyrex-S's ability to cripple its checks -this really isn't exclusive to balance teams only, so it's odd to point it out in this context-. Notably, Substitute sweepers such as Zekrom or Zygarde can take advantage of Choice-locked Yveltal as setup fodder, while Xerneas applies tremendous offensive pressure in general, while beating Calyrex-S's checks. In return, Calyrex-S can cripple or outright remove Xerneas's most common checks in Chansey and Necrozma-DM. Addtionally, Zacian-C can heavily pressure both Yveltal and Tyranitar while taking advantage of Calyrex-S's ability to force Necrozma-DM out. Calyrex-S can also appreciate Knock Off support from Pokemon like Yveltal and Necrozma-DM, in order to force opposing Yveltal to take Stealth Rock damage, potentially putting it in range of a 2HKO from Astral Barrage. -Yveltal's not the only target; Calyrex-S also enjoys a knocked Tyranitar and Ho-Oh-

-I'm really not satisfied with how the 2nd paragraph is structured. Yveltal counterplay needs to be emphasized before anything else. Giving leeway to Yveltal is easily the largest drawback Calyrex-S comes with, so this matchup is the first thing its team should patch up. Before Substitute sweepers are mentioned, both Zacian-C and Xerneas need to be stressed due to the wallbreaking synergy they offer + the ability to limit Yveltal. After that, offensive Yveltal should be mentioned as a teammate; it's easily the best way to weaken teams down into the range of a Calyrex-S cleanup, since it's such a good wallbreaker, and also weakens Ho-Oh and Tyranitar very easily. Mention Substitute sweepers after all of this. Before mentioning Knock Off support, Stealth Rock has to be mentioned; it's needed to effectively neuter Yveltal after stealing its Heavy-Duty Boots.

Draining Kiss and Leaf Storm can both be used over Aromatherapy, allowing Calyrex-S to punish Yveltal or Tyranitar for switching in. Additionally, they can enable Calyrex-S to break through a Yveltal or Tyranitar that switched in by using Dynamax to break Choice-lock. Both moves, however, have significant drawbacks, notably that Calyrex-S must switch out after using Leaf Storm, losing momentum, and that Draining Kiss does extremely minimal damage outside of Dynamax, allowing Specially defensive Yveltal to force Calyrex-S out regardless. Baton Pass is another niche option, allowing Calyrex-S to effectively bait in Yveltal and Tyranitar for the likes of Zacian-C and Xerneas.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Yveltal**: Yveltal resists Astral Barrage, and is immune to Psyshock, leaving Calyrex-S's only counterplay to it as Trick, which doesn't mitigate Calyrex-S's utter inability to deal meaningful damage to Yveltal. Yveltal, especially specially defensive sets, completely shuts down Calyrex-S and can switch into any of its attacks with near-impunity, although it must be wary of Trick or the rare Draining Kiss.

**Tyranitar**: Tyranitar, by virtue of its typing and solid special bulk, can switch freely into all of Calyrex-S's attacks and then force it out by threatening an OHKO with a Dark-type move Foul Play. Additionally, Tyranitar can take advantage of the switches that it can force to set Stealth Rock or cripple a switch-in with Thunder Wave. Tyranitar is vulnerable to Trick, but even after having Choice Specs Tricked onto it, it can still reliably switch into and force out Calyrex-S.
-merge Tyranitar and Yveltal into 'Dark-types' and mention Umbreon alongside them-

-Ditto, Marshadow, and Sand Rush Excadrill need to be mentioned (put all of them in one category)-
