- Trick / Flip Turn

[SET COMMENTS]
With an excellent offensive dual STAB type, high special attack and speed, and solid coverage options, Latios is a premier Choice Specs user that is able to hit on both defensive stats and break through many of its checks depending on the ability of choice. Tinted Lens allows Latios to 2HKO Hisuian Goodra with Psyshock and apply more pressure to Steel-types like Gholdengo, Iron Treads, and Kingambit with Draco Meteor, while Hadron Engine amplifies its coverage options and enables it to OKHO common RegenVest pivots in Manaphy and Primarina after entry hazards with Thunderbolt. Luster Purge can be in used in place of Thunderbolt on non-Hadron Engine sets as a spammable STAB to clean up teams, Trick can be used to cripple walls it might otherwise have trouble breaking like Ting-Lu and Tinkaton and potentially allow it to switch moves, and Flip Turn provides momentum for the team.

Latios is best utilized on balance or offensive team structures that appreciate its ability to break through specially defensive pivots. Latios pairs well with fast special attackers like Deoxys-S, Hisuian Electrode, and Choice Scarf Gholdengo, due to its ability to break through RegenVesters and allow them to clean through the weakened teams. Latios is susceptible to fast Dark-types like Roaring Moon and Meowscarada as well as priority from the likes of Kingambit; therefore it appreciates resists like Great Tusk and Regenerator Iron Hands. Latios appreciates entry hazards in order to obtain kills it could otherwise fall short on, so hazard setters like Ting-Lu, Garchomp, and Gliscor pair well with it. Latios can also be prone to hazards itself, so it appreciates hazard removal from the likes of the aforementioned Great Tusk and Corviknight.

Other Options
=============

Dragon's Maw can be utilized in tandem with Dragon Pulse to have a strong, spammable STAB vs neutral pokemon like Manaphy, Ting-Lu, and Swampert, but can be more easily checked by Fairy-type pokemon like Primarina and Scream Tail. Adaptability can also be used to give a similar amp to Latios' STAB while also bluffing Tinted Lens. Other coverage options like Aura Sphere can be used to hit Kingambit and Iron Treads, but is susceptible to Bulletproof. Latios can also forgo a Choice Specs and run Choice Scarf to facilitate more as a cleaner to weakened teams with its high speed stat.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Fast Dark-types**: Dark-types like Chien-Pao, Roaring Moon, and Meowscarada can easily defeat Latios when pivoted in safely.

**Fairy-types**: Fairy-types such as Scream Tail, Primarina, and Tinkaton are immune to Dragon-type STAB and can threaten Latios with their own STAB.

Mention effectively mixed attacking stats; being a special attacker that beats (most) RegenVests is huge.
Luster Purge can be in used in place of Thunderbolt on non-Hadron Engine sets as a means of muscling past RegenVesters
Luster Purge is just stronger once the RegenVest are down, and in particular lets it spam once the main SpD option is down, usually it's best option late game.
and Trick can be used to cripple walls it might otherwise have trouble breaking like Ting-Lu and Tinkaton.
Trick is also very nice into double immunity teams so it can freely switch moves. I would also first slash it, getting Latios in just to flip turn is trolling.

Also mention Adaptability; same amp as hadron but doesn't reveal ability, letting you get some early mindgames with Tinted and shit.

This is not a full QC, do not take this as QC one, just a washed old man ranting.

Tinted Lens allows Latios to 2HKO Hisuian Goodra Hoodra isnt that relevant, mention stail and Tinka with Psyshock and apply more pressure to Steel-types like Gholdengo, Iron Treads, and Kingambit with Draco Meteor, while Sentence feels way too long, I would cut it here Hadron Engine amplifies Thunderbolt as a coverage option its coverage options and enables it to OKHO common RegenVest pivots in Manaphy and Primarina after entry hazards with Thunderbolt. I don't think mentioning scarf is necessary since we have another analysis on it.
