Choice Specs Miraidon can break through all of its checks owing to its excellent stats and stellar movepool, making it the strongest wallbreaker in Anything Goes. Overheat hits Iron Treads and also eases predictions against defensive cores such as Corviknight + Great Tusk. Tera Dragon boosts Draco Meteor, notably allowing Miraidon to 2HKO Ting-Lu while also getting rid of its weakness to Dugtrio. A Timid nature allows Miraidon to Speed tie against Koraidon and Chien-Pao, but Modest may be used to further boost its strength. Miraidon is threatened by revenge killers like Iron Bundle, Chien-Pao, and Choice Scarf users like Koraidon, Miraidon, and Great Tusk, so special walls like Clodsire and Blissey and physical walls like Toxapex, Great Tusk, and Alomomola are used to soak the offensive pressure. Dugtrio can trap Iron Bundle, Clodsire, and Iron Treads, as well as opposing Miraidon and Koraidon locked into Dragon-type moves with Tera Fairy.

Electro Drift and Draco Meteor are Miraidon's strongest STAB moves. Overheat is useful to get rid of Iron Treads in a pinch and also eases predictions against defensive cores such as Corviknight + Great Tusk. Tera Dragon boosts Draco Meteor, notably allowing Miraidon to 2HKO Ting-Lu -it also removes a weakness to Dugtrio-. Timid is the standard nature of this set, as it allows Miraidon to speed-tie against Koraidon and Chien-Pao, but Modest may be used to further boost its strength. Miraidon can fit on most common team structures and requires very little support to function. Entry hazard setters and removers like Great Tusk, Iron Treads, Clodsire, and Ting-Lu are solid teammates. Iron Bundle, Chien-Pao, Koraidon, and offensive Great Tusk greatly benefit from Miraidon's wallbreaking strength. Gothitelle is a solid teammate as it traps and cripples special walls like Blissey and Ting-Lu, making it easier for Miraidon to break and spam Volt Switch. -Dugtrio should be mentioned. It traps the most common roadbloack to this set = Iron Bundle. Tera Fairy Dugtrio also traps the dragons if they lock themselves into Dragon-type moves vs Specs Miraidon. Trapping Clodsire and Iron Treads is always nice too, although less needed. Blissey is a bad Pokemon but could be mentioned here as a hard check to Iron Bundle. Same with Clodsire, although it can't check Specs Bundle reliably without using Tera. Similarly, checks to Chien-Pao should be highlighted. Sponges that can switch into opposing Scarf Koraidon / Miraidon / Great Tusk are important mentions as well-
