Cinderace is a good option for offensively oriented teams thanks to its great matchup against hyper offense, provided by its access to Court Change. U-turn lets Cinderace keep momentum by pivoting out of unfavorable matchups, most notably against Fire-resistant Pokemon like Kommo-o, Toxapex, and Seismitoad as well as physically bulky Pokemon such as Hippowdon. Taunt shuts down defensive pivots like Toxapex while also preventing Kommo-o and Seismitoad from setting up hazards. Sucker Punch can be used to pick up KOs on faster foes like Dragapult and Zeraora lacking Bulk Up once they have been weakened. High Jump Kick prevents threats like Terrakion and Rotom-H from freely switching into Cinderace. Heavy-Duty Boots helps Cinderace's longevity so it can consistently use Court Change and pivot into other teammates.
Bulkier pivots such as Teleport Clefable, Mandibuzz, Corviknight, and Rotom-W can cover up Cinderace's weaknesses, and in return they appreciate Cinderace pressuring opposing Steel- and Fairy-types. Clefable also provides Wish support to keep Cinderace healthy throughout the match. Since Cinderace tends to lure in Water-types, Pokemon able to take advantage of them like Kyurem, Power Whip Ferrothorn, Calm Mind Clefable, Conkeldurr, and Nasty Plot Hydreigon make for good teammates.
