Classic Games Thread

I wanted to criticize Dia but then I realized even Diddy Kong Racing is more than 15 years old. :/ Man I feel old.

Recently I picked up an n64 from my friend with Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time. I still need to find a TV to hook it up to, but I am quite excited to try playing both of those games (as it is my first time with both of them!). Plus, I got it REALLY cheap, $30 for the whole thing!

I doubt anyone's ever played this, but...

I would go to my neighbors house as a kid and play the shit out of this game.

Excellent game from Playstation, I wasn't really feeling it after the 2nd one. But MGSV The Phantom Pain will be a blast. Since it will be a full open world game. I like Nintendo better then any game. But if I have to say what is the biggest classic of a non-Nintendo game, it would be Gran Turismo in my book.

Yesssss Metal Gear Solid was epic! Was the first really... Political game I had played and it sort of opened my eyes as to what the rest of the world was doing (Baring in mind I was 13 or 14 when i first played it, well after it had been released). Not only was the gameplay excellent, the story was engaging and I loved the amount of "4th wall breaking" moments there were. The whole Psycho Mantis match and like putting the controller on your arm for pain relief etc.

I remember so much about that game I could probably still explain my way through it without looking it up or anything. Nikiti missiles for Sniper Wolf though ;)
