Clearly no Weather Here

Hello Smogon, I'm ManBearPig and I'm quite new here. This is my Wifi team, and while I have used it to some success, I know it is far from perfect and I would appreciate any suggestions, becaue I want to improve. As a sidenote, I play this on the Pokemon online server, where Drizzle + Swift Swim and Excadrill have not been banned.

The Lead:
376-frame1.png

Metagross @ Lum Berry
Trait: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Meteor Mash
- Stealth Rock
- Bullet Punch
- Hammer Arm

For me, Metagross is in the lead position purely because of the sheer number of Taunt and Status leads which Metagross can handily defeat. On turn 1, most leads waste their time trying to Taunt or Status me, while they get slugged with a powerful Meteor Mash and then swiftly taken out with Bullet Punch. Hammer Arm destroys Steel-types such as Ferrothorn and Magnezone, while Stealth Rock is a move I reserve for late-game when all Rapid Spinners / Xatu / Espeon have been eliminated.

Despite all this, I feel Metagross is my weakest link because of how many times Meteor Mash misses, putting me in a bad position and even possibly losing me a match. Basically what I'm saying is that Metagross is the team member that I'd be most willing to replace.

Synergy:
Fire: Heatran (x0, Flash Fire Boost), Haxorus (x.5), Rotom-W (x .5)
Ground: Gengar (x0), Rotom-W (x0)

The Special Wall:

Heatran (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 244 HP / 12 Def / 252 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Lava Plume
- Roar
- Protect
- Toxic

Despite my team being primarily offensive, I felt I needed some sort of glue on my team, and specially defensive Heatran is just that. It can switch in on many Choice'd special attacks, such as Specs Latios's Draco Meteor and Toxic the switch-in or Roar it away. However, I was considering dropping Toxic for Will-O-Wisp to lessen the damage from physical attacks, because I've found that Lava Plume's burn rate is unreliable. The EVs Maximize Special Defense, the HP EVs reach the highest possible Leftovers number, and the remainder is dumped into Defense.

Synergy:
Ground: Gengar (x0), Rotom-W (x0)
Water: Haxorus (x.5), Rotom-w (x.5)
Fighting: Gengar (x0)

The Annoyer:
094.png

Gengar (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Substitute
- Disable
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball

Probably the second most valuable pokemon (second to Haxorus), as the number of things this bro checks is unbelievable. Conkeldurr? Sub first turn, and then Disable Payback second and watch it be completely walled. Tyranitar switch-in? No problem, SubDisable Pursuit and switch to Scizor or kill it with Focus Blast. Plus, many, many more threats are screwed up by SubDisable Gengar, including mono-attackers, BandMons, and SpecsMons. Leftovers are on the set because Life Orb, in conjunction with Substitute and Sandstorm damage, make Gengar wither real quick.

Synergy:
Ghost: Heatran (x.5), Scizor (x.5)
Dark: Heatran (x.5), Scizor (x.5)
Psychic: Metagross (x.25), Heatran 9x.5), Scizor (x.5)

The Late-Game Sweeper:
612.png

Haxorus (M) @ Lum Berry
Trait: Mold Breaker
EVs: 24 HP / 252 Atk / 232 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Earthquake

To quote someone I had battled recently, "wtf double dance". That's right, Double Dance. I saw this on the Smogon analysis and wanted to test it out, and I've never looked back. Dragon Dance puts constant pressure on offensive teams, while Swords Dance sweeps unprepared defensive teams, with Outrage and Mold Breaker Earthquake to back it up. Lum Berry lets me set up Swords or Dragon Dance on an opponent trying to burn Haxorus, paralyze Haxorus, or put Haxorus to sleep, additionally, it can snap me out of Outrage confusion. The EVs allow me to outspeed Max+ Gyarados and everything below it (including Dragonite), max attack for maximum destruction, and the remainder is deposited into HP for a bit of bulk.

Synergy:
Dragon: Metagross (x.5), Heatran (x.5), Scizor (x.5)
Ice: Metagross: (x.5), Heatran (x.25), Scizor (x.5), Rotom-W (x.5)

Choice Duo Part 1:
212.png

Scizor (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Pursuit
- Superpower

Part 1 of my choice core is Choice Band Scizor. Its job is to eliminate Tyranitar, Latias / os, Reuniclus, Blissey / Chansey, and other roadblocks to my team. It also frail sweepers that may have gotten out of hand thanks to Bullet Punch. U-Turn follows the spirit of many Choice'd pokemon and provides my team with much needed momentum and ensures a favorable match-up, and Pursuit takes out fleeing Reuniclus, Gengar, and Latis. Finally, Superpower destroys Blissey. It shares remarkable offensive and defensive synergy with Rotom-W, who is coming up next.

Synergy:
Fire: Heatran (x0, Flash Fire Boost), Haxorus (x.5), Rotom-W (x.5)

Choice Duo Part 2:
503.png

Rotom-W @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 40 HP / 252 SAtk / 216 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Trick

Last but certainly not least (that would probably be Metagross) is Scarf WashTom. In addition to providing more scouting opportunities with Volt Switch, it is an excellent revenge killer, as with a Choice Scarf and the given EV spread, it can outspeed +1 Gyarados and +1 Dragonite and take them out with Volt Switch and Hidden Power Ice, respectively, as well as anything below that. My Rotom-Scizor core can be particularly troublesome to rain teams as Rotom can eliminate most Rain team members with Volt Switch or a Rain-boosted Hydro Pump, and most Rain teams typically don't carry Fire moves, making Scizor quite dangerous. And last, Trick cripples Ferrothorn and Blissey, common Rotom-W switch-ins.

Synergy: (lol this will be fun)
Grass: Metagross (x.5), Heatran (x.25), Gengar (x.5), Haxorus (x.5), Scizor (x.25)

Its worth mentioning any half decent conkledurr player will bait the Sub-Disable set with a Machpunch, causing you to disable his priority, and procede to be *incredibly* threated by payback. This is especially true for Sub-Punch variants. Just try and watch that.

I'll give a full rate when I get back.

Note for Conkeldurr:(also same one as before, but a way to to "beat' it) Use Sub twice. It bluffs SubSplit and you can disable payback next turn.
Turn1 Sub on the payback
Turn two Sub again
1.) If it used Payback then use disable
2.) If it used Mach Punch use Shadow ball
Turn 3
1.) Disable
2.) Shadow Ball
Turn 4
1.) You invincible
2.) It should use Payback on the shadow ball, so use disable again here

As a whole, it looks pretty good. Sand teams with gastrodon seems to give this team trouble with Tyanitar+Gastro+Gliscor. Also Skarm can give you issues once Rotom is down. I suggest moving SR to Heatran instead of Roar or Toxic and changing Metagross for a Choiced Magnezone.

Magnezone @ Choice Scarf Trait: Magnet Pull
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest (+Spd, -Atk)/Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)

- Flash Cannon
- Hidden Power [Fire]/Hidden Power [Ground]

- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch

Magnezone @ Choice Specs Trait: Magnet Pull
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Flash Cannon
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch

The only real difference is that Spec's OHKO's Ferrothorn instead of a 2HKO and 2HKO's in rain.
Hidden Power [Ground is for Heatrans, but l think the Specs version is too slow to abuse it. Flash cannon is STAB and hits TTar relativity well. Volt Switch allows for more Scouting.
Hidden Power [Ice] is also an option for SE hits on Dragons and Gliscor, but l never liked it on Mag because it didn't help with its job: Killing steel types. However, that is up to you what HP Type you pick.

Zone gives you a way to kill ferrothorn, Skarm and the many other steel types, except maybe SDef Jchi not sure about that one, and he also gives you a nice sense of power without a miss chance. He can hit TTar hard with Flash cannon, or can just Volt Switch out and into Scizor who can scare it out and scout still with U-Turn. He also has decent Synergy. Ground type attack can be takes by Rotom and Gengar. Fire type attacks can be taken by Rotom and Fighting can be taken by Gengar. and he can take some dragon hits aimed at Haxorus's way before he gets set-up.
Hope this helped. I generally don't rate....

Also, on Gengar it says Heatran takes Psychic hits at 9x.5) instead of (.5) just a nitpick if you wanted to fix it (:
