Clefable's fantastic defensive typing, immunity to chip damage via Magic Guard, and huge variety of utility moves make it one of the best defensive presences in OU. It can safely switch into dangerous offensive threats like Dragapult, Garchomp, and Zeraora, while also being a great status and Knock Off absorber from Pokemon like Toxapex and opposing Clefable. Aside from Clefable's defensive utility, the Pokémon is fairly obnoxious to switch into, due to Knock Off crippling most of the tier, while switch-ins like Toxapex are punished with Stealth Rock. Clefable's great role compression works very well with balance teams, who appreciate everything the Pokemon brings to the table, providing great support via status sponging, a great utility movepool, and consistent walling capabilities. Common teammates vary wildly because of this aforementioned versatility, but a particularly good one is Corviknight, which provides a Defogger with natural synergy with Clefable due to checking Pokemon like Bisharp, Melmetal, and Tapu Lele.

Clefable's fantastic defensive typing and immunity to chip via Magic guard Guard allow it to be one of the sturdiest Rockers in the OU meta. i would emphasize defensive utility over rocks setting here, as this clef can run a variety of sets. u can say something like "clef's defensive typing, immunity to chip w mguard, and variety of fantastic utility moves make it one of the best defensive presences in OU for the third generation in a row". added last part to make it slightly more interesting and involved It can safely switch into into dangerous offensive presences threats replacing since we just used "threats" like Dragapult, Garchomp, and Zeraora, while also being a great switch to status and Knock offs Off from pokemon like Toxapex and other Clefables. emphasize mixed bulk here, can maybe talk about the spread if we have characters for it Aside from Clefable's defensive attributes, the pokemon is fairly obnoxious to switch into, due to Knock off Off crippling practically every pokemon around, and punishing most of the tier while passive switchins like Toxapex are punished with Stealth Rocks. trying to make this sound more formal Clefable's great role compression tends to acclimate itself wonderfully to Balance teams, who appreciate practically everything the pokemon brings to the table, providing great support and walling capabilities with solid consistency. i would mention how mguard here lets it act as a sponge against other fat teams in addition to its utility against offensive stuff Common teammates vary wildly but a particularly good one is Urshi-r, who loves the removal of Helmet and passive recovery from pokemon like Corviknight, Clefable, and Pex. i would focus on common defensive partners here - slowking/pex would be great here, for example. i like how u mentioned that they vary wildly but u can probs add something after like "due to its versatility" to elaborate

Clefable's fantastic defensive typing, immunity to chip "residual damage" is a better option, but "chip damage" at the very least should be used imo via Magic Guard, and huge variety of utility moves makes it one of the best defensive presences in OU. It can safely switch into dangerous offensive threats,(add comma) like Dragapult, Garchomp, and Zeraora, while also being a great switch to status and Knock Off status and Knock Off absorber from pokemon Pokemon like Toxapex and other opposing Clefable.
