[SET COMMENTS]
  • Calm Mind enables Arceus-Ground to set up and become a strong cleaner that sweeps through most teams with a largely unresisted Ground-type STAB Judgment while being able to better take hits from Miraidon.
  • Ice Beam allows Arceus-Ground to hit Giratina-O, Arceus-Grass, and Corviknight, which can otherwise force it out.
  • Arceus-Ground's Special Attack investment allows it to OHKO Skeledirge, as well as OHKOing Zacian-C after a Spike. The bulk allows for it to take two Flare Blitzes from Jolly Koraidon, while the Speed investment outruns neutral-natured base 90 Speed Pokemon such as Kyogre and Groudon.
  • Tera Fairy allows Arceus-Ground to be immune to Koraidon and Miraidon's Dragon-type moves and prevents Giratina-O from phazing it with Dragon Tail but comes at the expense of now being OHKOed by Zacian-C.
  • Tera Water allows Arceus-Ground to set up in front of Kyogre and comfortably survive a Flare Blitz from Koraidon, but this does come at the expense of becoming weak to Miraidon's Electro Drift.
  • Arceus-Ground is best used alongside Pokemon that reliably weaken Ting-Lu and Kyogre, such as Choice Specs Miraidon and Mewtwo. It also appreciates partners that can weaken Kyogre, such as Koraidon, Kyogre, and Zacian-C.
  • Defensive teammates such as Skeledirge, Toxapex, Corviknight, Kyogre, and Eternatus can help check Koraidon, Kyogre, and Zacian-C, which Arceus-Ground can struggle with prior to getting a Calm Mind up.
  • Arceus-Ground is best saved for the end game, ideally once the opponent's Tera has been revealed or their Koraidon has been removed, as it is the most reliable revenge killer to Arceus-Ground after a Calm Mind. It can get setup opportunities against most Arceus formes that are not carrying Taunt; defensive Pokemon such as Skeledirge, Toxapex, and Corviknight; and Miraidon.
  • While this set can be overwhelmed by fast offensive threats such as Koraidon and Zacian-C, it is still one of the premier threats in the tier and can quickly snowball out of control if its handful of checks such as Ting-Lu and Kyogre get chipped throughout the course of the game.
  • Arceus-Ground can afford to drop its Defense or Special Attack investment and run more Speed if it wishes to try to outrun opposing Arceus formes that are running Taunt.

Make it sound better, this is one of the best sets on one of the best mons on the tier, so I'd like a little to emphasize how capable it is of cleaning lategame. An extra line about how little it needs to go its way in order to start cleaning up, and how specific the answers to it can be (ie Banded Koraidon, Kyogres) and how quickly they can be dealt with by its teammates.

Never abbreviate anything such as Calm Mind to CM, it will be removed by the GP Team and you will be yelled at. In general, check out the GP standards thread and make sure this complies with the standards there, to make less work for the gp team who have to look over it.

QC 1/2.

i like how this is, but a few minor things:

Defensive teammates such as Skeledirge, Toxapex, Corviknight and Giratina-O can help check Koraidon, Kyogre and Zacian-C which Arceus-Ground can struggle with prior to getting a Calm Mind up.

This kinda sounds like Giratina-O is checking all three, I'd rather include bulky Kyogres + Eternatus on this list over Giratina-O.

Ice Beam allows Arceus-Ground to hit Arceus-Grass, Giratina-O and Corviknight which can otherwise force it out.
I would rephrase this to include Gira-O first, as it is more relevant.

I would also potentially mention Tera Water, because it lets you turn Kyogre into set-up fodder and survive Koraidon's Flare Blitz.

It's biggest drawback is the opportunity cost of not using Arceus-Fairy, which is usually the better Calm Mind Arceus form due to its ability to run mono-Judgment and thus fit Taunt/Will-O-Wisp as well as its natural ability to OHKO Koraidon.

Final thing, but this statement isn't really relevant for Arceus-Ground, since its considered as good as, if not better than Arceus-Fairy regardless. I would remove this entirely.

Wasn't sure on this because it makes Arceus weak to Miraidon which isn't something you really want to do, I'll add it for now tho,

GP Team done

:blobstop:TEMPORARY INJUNCTION::blobstop:

After discussing with Aberforth and ox on discord, we've decided on the following EV spread:
248 HP / 144 Def / 100 SpA / 16 Spe Bold

It accomplishes a couple of things:
- Judgement OHKOes Skeledirge and gets really close to guarenteeing the OHKO on Mirai and Zacian-C after rocks;
- It lives regular Koraidon's Low Kick/Flare Blitz with each doing a max of 49.4%;
- 16 Speed beats neutral nature max speed base 90s like Kyogre

So I think this should be the main spread, while the max speed set is mentioned as an alternative to not be bothered by opposing Taunt Arceus.

Implemented and aurora GP checked the edits so this is done again
