I think this would pair with non-mega Gyarados better (and we could revisit that if this were to win) but I think it goes with the rest of the team well too. It especially likes Grassy Terrain from Bulu, which in combination with Intimidate, allows Mega Mane to live some pretty crazy Earthquakes.

Since we (imo) desperately need a Ground-type / Stealth Rocker I seriously considered nominating this as a package deal with SpD Mago Berry Landorus but I think I'll just save that for the next round if this somehow wins.

ok let's vote. some cool suggestions this week so I'm excited to see where we go with it. I'm including Jhon's post as a nomination as well
The easiest way to start patching up the stall matchup would be to to put Magma Storm on Heatran over Lava Plume. Taunt Gyara can work but it would need partners to create situations for it to start going. As it stands though, Cress and Bulu are near dead weight against stall. At least one more mon which can play decently against stall is practically required.
I would to nominate conkeldur. it has fighting for ferro and greninja. and ice punch for thundurus-therian. it is a solid tank in today's meta.
Conkeldurr @ Assault Vest
Ability: Iron Fist
EVs: 252 Atk / 92 SpD / 164 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Drain Punch
- Knock Off
- Ice Punch
- Mach Punch
Taking into account what Cant Say said this team struggles with, I would like to nominate Swords Dance Mega Mawile.
Mawile-Mega @ Mawilite
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Play Rough
- Sucker Punch
- Fire Fang / Knock Off / Iron Head

Mega Mawile is already incredibly powerful, while also having some nice wallbreaking abilities due to Swords Dance. Play Rough is an excellent STAB move that bops everything that doesn't resist it. Sucker Punch is nice for picking off weakened opponents or severely denting the opposing Pokemon for a teammate to rk. Fire Fang is nice as a coverage move for dealing with those pesky Steel-types that resist Play Rough. If one wants to, Fire Fang can be replaced with either Iron Head for a more reliable STAB move or Knock Off to deal with Pokemon that depend on their items because we have Heatran on this team.
Offensive
+2 252+ Atk Huge Power Mega Mawile Play Rough vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Toxapex: 78-92 (49.6 - 58.5%) -- 71.9% chance to 2HKO after Black Sludge recovery

252+ Atk Huge Power Mega Mawile Play Rough vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Greninja: 201-237 (136.7 - 161.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO (If used Hydro Pump)
252+ Atk Huge Power Mega Mawile Sucker Punch vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Thundurus-T: 101-119 (65.1 - 76.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ Atk Huge Power Mega Mawile Fire Fang vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Ferrothorn: 168-200 (92.8 - 110.4%) -- 56.3% chance to OHKO
Defensive
0 Atk Ferrothorn Gyro Ball (79 BP) vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Mega Mawile: 36-43 (22.9 - 27.3%) -- 54.7% chance to 4HKO
252 SpA Life Orb Greninja Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Mega Mawile: 109-130 (69.4 - 82.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+2 252 Atk Mimikyu Shadow Claw vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Mega Mawile: 76-91 (48.4 - 57.9%) -- 96.9% chance to 2HKO
252 SpA Thundurus-T Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Mega Mawile: 87-103 (55.4 - 65.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ Atk Mamoswine Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Mega Mawile in Grassy Terrain: 80-96 (50.9 - 61.1%) -- 89.5% chance to 2HKO after Grassy Terrain recovery
0 SpA Celesteela Flamethrower vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Mega Mawile: 76-90 (48.4 - 57.3%) -- 89.1% chance to 2HKO
252+ Atk Choice Band Landorus-T Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Mega Mawile in Grassy Terrain: 126-150 (80.2 - 95.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Grassy Terrain recovery

In relation to the rest of the team, Mega Mawile benefits from Tapu Bulu's Grassy Terrain, letting Mega Mawile survive powerful Ground-type moves like Choice Banded Landorus-Therian's Earthquake. It also appreciates Cresselia as a teammate, who can set up Trick Room for this monster. Finally, it enjoys having (Mega) Gyarados as a partner to deal with plenty of Fire- and Ground-types that threaten Mega Mawile.
Breloom is generally a good lead, and can take serious advantage of Grassy Terrain, and can dish out serious damage.
Do I really need to explain what to do with it? Unprepared teams will lose to this, period.

Fung Fu (Breloom) @ Focus Sash

Alright, time to nominate something of my own for this year's CCAT !_!

(Credits to Litra for TFP)

Charizard @ Charizardite X
Ability: Tough Claws
Level: 50
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Outrage
- Flare Blitz
- Swords Dance
- Flame Charge
Standard dual setup ZardX, standard EVs, fits really well as a second mega to handle Stall and a bunch of other threats if Gyarados seems like the inferior option to bring. With a good typing only leaving it vulnerable to Dragon, Ground and Rock type attacks, as well as great stats on both the offensive and defensive end, it provides a fearsome presence, and thanks to Grassy Terrain, Charizard can actually tank some strong earthquakes, to the point where it needs something of a caliber like banded Adamant Landorus-T to even have a chance to KO with one hit as long as the terrain is up (and even that is only 50%). In return, just one turn of setup gives this monster the power to plow through Stall teams, and those very few Pokemon that actually can tank one hit are left with such huge dents that one of the teammates can take advantage of them with ease. The biggest drawbacks are probably the side effects of the main STAB moves, either locking you into a move that fairies are immune against, or having to deal with recoil. The power of those attacks justifies the risks though, and reward you greatly if you can exploit the sheer power to your advantage.
If there aren't too many bulky threats on the opposing team left, one Flame Charge lets Charizard X outspeed the entire unboosted metagame as well as some common scarfers like modest Hydreigon, Tapu Lele and Adamant Landorus-T, allowing it to attempt a sweep.
All those bulky monsters crumble in front of ZardX if they give you just one chance to SD:

+2 252+ Atk Tough Claws Mega Charizard X Outrage vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Chansey: 378-445 (105.8 - 124.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO

the raw power:

252+ Atk Tough Claws Mega Charizard X Flare Blitz vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Mega Gengar: 177-208 (105.9 - 124.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ Atk Tough Claws Mega Charizard X Flare Blitz vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Celesteela: 206-246 (100.9 - 120.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252+ Atk Tough Claws Mega Charizard X Flare Blitz vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Occa Berry Ferrothorn: 176-210 (97.2 - 116%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO (that 1% usage)

The ones that tank:

+2 252+ Atk Tough Claws Mega Charizard X Flare Blitz vs. 244 HP / 252+ Def Tapu Fini: 96-114 (54.5 - 64.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+2 252+ Atk Tough Claws Mega Charizard X Outrage vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Mega Slowbro: 138-163 (68.3 - 80.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+2 252+ Atk Tough Claws Mega Charizard X Outrage vs. 212 HP / 4 Def Heatran: 138-163 (71.5 - 84.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+2 252+ Atk Tough Claws Mega Charizard X Outrage vs. 244 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Porygon2: 151-178 (79 - 93.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+2 252+ Atk Tough Claws Mega Charizard X Outrage vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Cresselia: 186-220 (81.9 - 96.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

None of these OHKO besides Hydro Vortex Tapu Fini, so if you already set up one SD before, you can go to +4 or 2HKO back while being faster.

Defensive Calcs:

252 SpA Life Orb Greninja Hydro Pump vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Mega Charizard X: 121-142 (79 - 92.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ Atk Landorus-T Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Mega Charizard X in Grassy Terrain: 96-114 (62.7 - 74.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Grassy Terrain recovery

Latios (M) @ Icium Z

Level: 50
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Ice Beam

This team is a bit slow, and Thundurus-T can run circles around it. Hence this set.

252 SpA Latios Subzero Slammer (175 BP) vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Thundurus-Therian: 238-280 (154.5 - 181.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

This Latios hits fast and hard (182 SpA, 178 Spe), and it never hurts to have an icy nuke up your sleeve. Boltbeam is also a nice thing to have on top of that.

A few more calculations:
252 SpA Latios Psychic vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Venusaur-Mega: 134-158 (71.6 - 84.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Latios Ice Beam vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Salamence-Mega: 224-268 (130.9 - 156.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO (Draco Meteor OHKOs too, but this is better)

252 SpA Latios Subzero Slammer (175 BP) vs. 212 HP / 220 SpD Assault Vest Landorus-Therian: 248-296 (129.8 - 154.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO
I agree with Jhon. Bulu could benefit more from a SD set as well.

Now for my nomination:

Blaziken @ Electrium Z
Ability: Speed Boost
Level: 50
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Flare Blitz

This Blaziken set has a great matchup against stall teams. +2 Gigavolt Havoc OHKOes both Fini and Toxapex, making way for itself or Gyarados to sweep the opposing team. As a standalone mon, it appreciates Cresselia to deal with Salamence, Landorus and other Blaziken, along with Lunar Dance support. It also appreciates Heatran's ability to wear down walls like Zapdos.

+2 252 Atk Blaziken Gigavolt Havoc (140 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Toxapex: 162-192 (103.1 - 122.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO

+2 252 Atk Blaziken Thunder Punch vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Toxapex: 88-104 (56 - 66.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Black Sludge recovery
+2 252 Atk Blaziken Thunder Punch vs. 244 HP / 252+ Def Tapu Fini: 108-128 (61.3 - 72.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Timid Nature

While this is a bulky team, I feel like a fast pivot would be beneficial to help manage certain offensive mons, like the aforementioned Greninja, and to generally give the team some speed as and when it might be needed. This Tapu Koko set will be able to deal with some of the Dragons and Flying-types that give this team trouble so far, including Mega Salamence, Mega Charizard Y, Garchomp, and Celesteela. Hidden Power [Fire] is useful for weakening Ferrothorn in Heatran-unfriendly matchups. The item choice is fairly open here, with Z-moves for both STABs being viable as well as Choice items, but Life Orb is the most splashable for now so that should be fine. Nomming Tapu Koko would be beneficial for any Ground-types that we nominate in the future (and I strongly believe we should) in that it helps Bulu beat down Rain teams and cope with Flying-types, so I feel like it's a strong nomination that we should definitely consider :)

put your vote in bold please

-------------------------------

I'm going with ThickFatAzumarill's Blaziken this week. Fire/Electric coverage hurts a ridiculous amount of stuff, and gives us some nice offense on the team.

Fischgrat's SD Zard X.

I had no idea SD zard was that powerful. I mean look at those calcs.

I think it would do great if we replaced mega gyara for flyium-z gyara to hit mega-venu and fini. Plus the added benefit of having a F-G-W core and F-D-S core is always great with the addition of ZardX.

Does everything that my Tapu Koko nomination would do but slightly better, including roasting Ferrothorn, frying Greninja, Hidden Powering Salamence, and pivoting around. It also has a better matchup vs Blaziken thanks to Intimidate.

chem has a Electrium Z Blaziken in one of his teams.
Had a simulation match vs chem using stall and the Blaziken won the match on its own.
Toxapex is one of the best switch ins vs Blaziken and no one expects SD + Electrium Z because it has <2% usage.

Yeah, jumping on the bandwagon and going with TFA's Blaziken. Really like what it does for the matchup vs stall, and agree with Jhon's idea of dropping Protect as well.

Our next addition to this team is Z Thunder Punch Blaziken! Now we move onto the 6th member of the team, our current 5 consist of a mega, Z move user, FWG core, and special and physical walls to pivot into, so the team looks fairly balanced right now. The only thing we really appear to be lacking is a strong special attacker and/or Stealth Rock setter. Thinking about threats off the top of my head, I think we somewhat struggle against; Mimikyu, rain, stall, Breloom, Mega Zard X, Volcarona, Mega Venusaur, and maybe full Baton Pass strategies. There may be more weaknesses that I missed, and maybe some of what I listed aren't actually threats. Feel free to share your thoughts on this and of course nominate what you think would be the best addition to the last slot!

I'll go right ahead and make my nomination, and I'm putting it forward with the idea that we also consider adding Stealth Rock to Heatran's moveset (but can worry about that later)

Haven't used up our Focus Sash yet and need something to punch holes in stuff. I have Psyshock listed for hitting Chansey, however Psychic is a great option still. I have Thunderbolt slashed because it's useful against Skarmory and easing the prediction vs Gyarados, but Calm Mind and Taunt are sick. Timid is for outspeeding Adamant Mimikyu, which is huge so you can actually hit it without having to use your sash, although the power drop is unfortunate...

Bulky Mega Kang. Synergizes pretty well with every member in the team, even with Gyarados if we need it and keep it in its regular form. Plus it offers speed control so that Bulu can hit hard and Tran stall with sub (or in case Blaziken needs to face Scarf Lele and such). It even hits fairly hard himself. The spread let it hit 135 speed, obviously outspeeding loom but even Scarf Koko or +1 Mega Mence after Rock Tomb.

As for the other weaknesses cant say mentioned, Rain can be played around, Stall can be deal with by Gyara + Blaze (but I think it would be a good idea to fit Taunt in Gyara's moveset), Bulu covers Breloom, and Heatran covers both Zard X and Volc if they don't carry the right coverage move. I can see Venu and BP giving the team some problems though.

I feel like a Flying-type offensive presence is probably the best call to deal with the threats cant say mentioned - Breloom, Mega Heracross, Mega Venusaur, Volcarona are all checked by the one type so I feel we should try to take advantage of that. With that in mind:

Landorus-Therian @ Flyinium Z
Ability: Intimidate
Level: 50
EVs: 92 HP / 164 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Fly
- Swords Dance
- free space (Smack Down / Rock Tomb / Stealth Rock / Rock Polish / U-Turn / Knock Off / Superpower...)

Z-Fly Landorus. Probably one of the best sets for luring in threats like Mega Venusaur while still being reasonably defensive (this spread takes +1 Mimikyu Twinkle Tackle, so after Intimidate and SD, while still OHKOing max defense Venusaur with Skystrike). Swords Dance aids in wallbreaking stall teams and ensuring that Landorus can be taken seriously as a threat even after the Z-move is gone. Free space is free space, Landorus can run so much ridiculous shit that we cana just run whatever we feel is best. I'd personally go with a Rock move, either Smack Down or Rock Tomb, to complement Earthquake (moreso in Smack Down's case) or aiding a potential SD Lando sweep with speed drops.

Dealing with fat stuff:
164 Atk Landorus-T Supersonic Skystrike (175 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Mega Venusaur: 192-228 (102.6 - 121.9%)
+2 164 Atk Landorus-T Supersonic Skystrike (175 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Gliscor: 189-223 (103.8 - 122.5%)
+2 164 Atk Landorus-T Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Toxapex: 188-224 (119.7 - 142.6%)
+2 164 Atk Landorus-T Supersonic Skystrike (175 BP) vs. 44 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Chansey: 394-465 (119 - 140.4%)
+2 164 Atk Landorus-T Earthquake vs. 44 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Chansey: 226-267 (68.2 - 80.6%)

Doesn't help us much vs rain but we have Bulu to an extent (which only seriously struggles against Pelipper honestly, and we have T-Punch Blaziken for that, and Cress and Gyarados to a lesser extent) and the value against virtually everything else is worth it. Yay~

e: Almost nommed Togekiss but it has much less luring potential and just generally isn't as good. It's a decent pick if you wanna stick up something cool tho

This team is missing a big support 'mon. Yes, it's largely slow and bulky, but it doesn't have a member that makes foes want to tear their hair out. Hence my entry.

Whimsicott @ Focus Sash
Ability: Prankster
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 132 Def / 124 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Giga Drain / Moonblast
- Taunt
- Tailwind
- Encore

The picture represents the ass you can kiss when it comes into play. It brings the annoyance, with Taunt and Encore allowing the team to run circles around an opponent's strategy, disrupting BP/rain/setup, among other things. And speaking of running...Tailwind lets the team outspeed a copious number of threats. Jolly Mimikyu, for instance, is slower than our Cresselia. That's a big indicator. Sash is mostly to ensure that it can get at least two effects going (one if you take a Fake Out). Moonblast is to possibly negate SpA attackers, but I'm not averse to putting Giga Drain on it instead.

e: also megyara w/ tailwind outspeeds before ddance, allowing it to smack a mimibitch

I couldn't think of a way to make Sash Chomper work well, but I have another idea totally not stolen from cant say I swear...

Landorus@ Focus Sash
Ability: Sand Force
Level: 50
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earth Power
- Extrasensory
- Rock Tomb

Pretty meme-y Stealth Rock setter while being able to RK non-Sash Mimikyu once its Disguise is broken. Rock Tomb for bopping Fire-types, Earth Power for general STAB, and Extrasensory for the likes of Mega Venusaur.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you...

Nihilego @ Focus Sash
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Power Gem
- Sludge Wave
- Psychic / Stealth Rock / Toxic Spikes / Mirror Coat / Grass Knot
- Psychic / Stealth Rock / Toxic Spikes / Mirror Coat / Grass Knot

Originally I was gonna nom Double Dance Lando-T, but then I remembered about this thing.
Sash Nihilego is incredibly versatile in that it can be tailored to beat pretty much whatever it needs to. Going off the "threatlist" in cant say's post, this thing bops Xard (252 SpA Nihilego Power Gem vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Mega Charizard X: 152-182 (99.3 - 118.9%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO) and Volc (252 SpA Nihilego Power Gem vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Volcarona: 264-312 (163.9 - 193.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO), can somewhat deal with Mimikyu (in a pinch), and still has a plethora of good options to fill the last two slots, allowing us to beat whatever we may need to.
Personally I think Psychic is a good option as it allows us to handle Mega Venu (252 SpA Nihilego Psychic vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Mega Venusaur: 88-104 (47 - 55.6%) -- 67.2% chance to 2HKO) which can't touch us outside of the rare Earthquake (and we still beat EQ varieties thanks to the Focus Sash) and put huge dents in Breloom (though I think this is already handled by Bulu and Cress).
Stealth Rock is nice as it really helps out the offensive mode on the team, breaking the sashes and Sturdy of the only mons capable of handling a boosted Blaziken, and generally easing calcs. It also massively helps up our matchup vs both Zards and Volcarona.
Toxic Spikes can really help out the Stall matchup (which personally I don't think is too bad thanks to Blaziken), and also goes excellently with Bulu+Tran forcing switches (and Tran being SubTectTox already), allowing us to potentially rack up huge passive damage on the opponent's team. It's also complimented well by the Focus Sash and Nihilego's great speed, meaning that you're almost guaranteed to get up two layers against most opponents.
Mirror Coat is a little more of an abstract pick, but between Nihilego's great SpDef and HP (and Focus Sash!), it can devastate unprepared Special attackers. Personally the biggest use I see for it here is beating most hard Baton Pass setups, which usually finishes with something like an Espeon being able to fire off stupidly boosted Stored Powers. With the Focus Sash we can live these, and OHKO back with Mirror Coat.
Grass Knot is also a bit of an uncommon pick, I mainly listed it here to ease the rain matchup - though probably unnecessary thanks to Bulu, it does allow Nihilego to tackle Politoed and Swampert, which means it can beat all the most common setters on its own (Peli is handled by Power Gem).

Was hoping for more suggestions this week so held off the voting stage but alas. Here's what we have:
Tapu Lele @ Focus Sash
Ability: Psychic Surge
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psyshock
- Moonblast
- Calm Mind / Thunderbolt
- Taunt / Thunderbolt

Haven't used up our Focus Sash yet and need something to punch holes in stuff. I have Psyshock listed for hitting Chansey, however Psychic is a great option still. I have Thunderbolt slashed because it's useful against Skarmory and easing the prediction vs Gyarados, but Calm Mind and Taunt are sick. Timid is for outspeeding Adamant Mimikyu, which is huge so you can actually hit it without having to use your sash, although the power drop is unfortunate...
  • 252 SpA Tapu Lele Psyshock vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Mimikyu in Psychic Terrain: 126-148 (96.1 - 112.9%) -- 75% chance to OHKO
    • this is better than Psychic
  • 252 SpA Tapu Lele Psyshock vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Mega Swampert in Psychic Terrain: 96-114 (54.5 - 64.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
    • only slightly worse than Psychic coz of lower base power
  • 252 SpA Tapu Lele Psyshock vs. 44 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Chansey in Psychic Terrain: 133-157 (40.1 - 47.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
  • 252 SpA Tapu Lele Psyshock vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mega Charizard X in Psychic Terrain: 94-112 (61.4 - 73.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
    • Psychic is kinda better, KOes after rocks
  • 252 SpA Tapu Lele Psyshock vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Volcarona in Psychic Terrain: 145-172 (90 - 106.8%) -- 43.8% chance to OHKO
    • much better than Psychic
  • 252 SpA Tapu Lele Psyshock vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Mega Venusaur in Psychic Terrain: 132-156 (70.5 - 83.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
    • Psychic is better here as it KOes, however vs offensive Venu Psyshock is fine
Ability: Parental Bond
EVs: 132 HP / 228 Atk / 12 Def / 20 SpD / 116 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Fake Out / Filler Move
- Double-Edge
- Rock Tomb
- Earthquake

Bulky Mega Kang. Synergizes pretty well with every member in the team, even with Gyarados if we need it and keep it in its regular form. Plus it offers speed control so that Bulu can hit hard and Tran stall with sub (or in case Blaziken needs to face Scarf Lele and such). It even hits fairly hard himself. The spread let it hit 135 speed, obviously outspeeding loom but even Scarf Koko or +1 Mega Mence after Rock Tomb.
Excadrill (M) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Mold Breaker
Level: 50
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Rock Slide

- Earthquake
Has stealth rock, beats focus spore bre loom, non hp fire mega Venusaur, and the other mons labeled as a weakness
Landorus-Therian @ Mago Berry
Ability: Intimidate
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 244 Def / 4 SpD / 4 Spe
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Rock Tomb
- U-turn
- Stealth Rock

Defensive Landorus provides the team a Mimikyu and Zard X check, Stealth Rocks and speed control via Rock Tomb.

I had a few mons come to mind as solid options for the last slot during the week, like Sash Nidoking and Curse Mimikyu, but it looks like people really like the idea of Landorus(-T). I agree Lando-t looks pretty solid with Intimidate support and Stealth Rock, however I think a special attacker is more important at the moment as Heatran and Cresselia are our only options that can hit on that side. I really like the ideas behind both Nihilego and Lando-I, however I think both proposed movesets have their own downfalls.

Nihilego looks super solid here as it's a great special attacker and can steamroll if it picks up a KO. You'd think it would benefit from Grassy Terrain but its pitiful defense means it still gets OHKOed by non-STAB Earthquakes, and I think adding another 4x weak mon to the team is too risky for my liking, even if we do have Bulu, Gyara, and Cres... If it had Hidden Power Ground on the set I would be more tempted to vote for it

Lando-I would definitely give us style points as it's almost never seen (due to Lando-T being so good). However Extrasensory (without sheer force + life orb rip) doesn't actually threaten Venu too much at all unless we get two flinches in a row or Venu runs out of Synthesis PP. I would much prefer either Hidden Power Ice for Salamence and co., or Sludge Wave for opposing Tapu Bulu. However I really like that it can eliminate opposing Heatran which we definitely struggle with if Gyarados is heavily threatened.

So with that, I would nominate to change both if either were to win this week (HP Ground + Stealth Rock on Nihi, or HP Ice over Extrasensory on Lando). Because I'm into niche stuff I'm going to go with Feesh Squad here because I don't want our Heatran team becoming weak to opposing Heatran

For me, I gotta go for Ullar's Whimsicott

I used this mon in late ORAS and it's pretty fun as a support. I can definitely see it working well here, especially with tailwind.
