Competetive OU Team: ImOneGender

Ambipom (M) @ Silk Scarf
Ability: Technician
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Fake Out
- U-turn
- Taunt
- Return
---The main idea with Ambipom is obviously Fake Out, but then i have a choice. Taunt if i know for sure there gunna try and set up or status me, U-turn if i know i cant KO them and usually switch to either Donphan or Milotic, finally if I'm quicker and i know i can KO them i use return. Ambipom usually does well in the game and is a real center point to the team.

Donphan (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 120 HP/252 Atk/136 Def
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Ice Shard
- Earthquake
- Rapid Spin
- Stealth Rock
---Donphan can take physical hits well, i usually try and set up the SR early in the game thx to the U-turn from Ambipom. Rapid spin is there genrally to counter other SR, Spikes or TS users. Earthquake for covrage and Ice Shard because of his high attack stat and the EV's i've invested in it enables me to 2HKO most dragons.

Weavile (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 42 HP/252 Atk/216 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Pursuit
- Ice Punch
- Brick Break
- Night Slash/ X-scissor
--- Weavile is here because he counters the main weeknes in my team Gengar. Pursuit is to deal with the fragile pyschic types who try and flee, I chose Ice Punch over Ice Shard because Weavile outspeeds most attackers in the game so i don't think he really needs Ice Shard. Brick Break for covrage and Blissey, Night Slash because of it's STAB and high critical hit ratio. Considering X-scissor to counter another weakness to my team, Ludicolo.

Milotic (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Marvel Scale
EVs: 124 HP/252 Def/132 SAtk
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Hypnosis
- Recover
- Surf
- Ice Beam
---Milotic can take SpA hits. Hypnosis because it can make a pokemon completely useless and enables me to switch in a pokemon and take no damage appart from maybe SR, Recover to heal the damage taken from the switch in's. Surf for STAB and power, Ice Beam to hit dragons hard.

Gyarados (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 72 HP/252 Atk/184 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
--- This is pretty much a Standard DD Gyarados, once set up he can completely destroy a team. I usually try and get rid all electric pokemon before i begin to set up to avoid getting KO whilst setting up.

Electivire (M) @ Expert Belt
Ability: Motor Drive
EVs: 76 Atk/180 Spd/252 SAtk
Mild nature (+SAtk, -Def)
- Thunderbolt
- Flamethrower
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Cross Chop
---Electivire also helps the team because the is immune to electric attacks and because I have Gyarados and Milotic who have weaknesses to electric i can use it to speed up Electivire for some sweeping. I use Mixvire because it can catch people out and it can deal with physical and special walls with less difficulty. Thunderbolt for STAB, Flamethrower, HP Ice and Cross Chop for coverage.

Any suggestions for improving my team would be helpful, also if there is any noticeable weaknesses to the team could you point them out, and offer some suggestions on who could be replaced to cover that weakness.

im just wondering why youre running a bold nature on milotic if its supposed to be a special wall, and an adamant on Donphan if its supposed to be a physical wall.

I noticed you have 2 expert belts someone people only let you have more than one lefty

Nothing big just for your info.

I personaly think that you should have ice shard on Weavile because Weavile relies on hiting first and being super effective because his STAB moves are only 70 and 75 base power also Weavile has weakness to SR and i know Ambipom is supposed to stop that but your oppent will mostly get it off weavile is weak to alot of common attack types if Weavile gets KO'ed because something was faster, then Gengar could rip a hole in ur team remember. The reason ice shard is on Weavile is to take care of the few things faster than Weavile. Also alot of choice scarfers EVs are built to outspeed All weaviles.

Pursuit can KO gengar but bulky ghosts dont have to fear it as much like Dusknoir and Dusknoir probably wont even switch because they can wil o wisp Night Slash needs the crit to KO but if Dusknoir wil o wisps ur attacks arent doing much

It would be a better idea to take the Expert belt off and and give Weavile a choice band then weavile would be more threating and be more useful than the Gengar Counter role u have him in he could still counter gengar and now be a much better revenge killer and it could take care of the the Item Clause violation

Scarf is common on Hera so hera can easliy take weavile out and if its not since theres no AA weavile easily loses anyway and if u go to Gyara and Hera stone edges If hes banded He does 61-71% after intimidate and if scarfed he does over 50% most of the time and Gyara needs 2 DDs two out speed the Scarf version so Hera usually take Gyara out

Then only Milotic and Donphan can stop hera and hera can just switch out and let a sleep talker absorb the hypnosis if u use milotic a poke with Grass Knot with do alot most likely KO both donphan Ludicolo has grass knot and resists EQ and Surf and can take SR Ludicolo can take a Ice beam or Ice Shard easily and then defeat them both with grass knot GK can also do alot to Gyara and he rists most of gyaras attcks

Thats 2 pokes taking out or ruining or walling 4.5 of your pokes

Dusknoir - Wil-o-Wisps Weavile (Or Gyara ) and Walls Ambipom and possibly Wil-O-Wisps it

Ludicolo - Grass Knots Donphan and Miltoic and KOs and Hurts Gyara

They now have a 4 pokes left and You've got a hurt Gyara and a useless Ambipom (aslong Dusknoir stands) and Evire who Dusk cant damage ground types
and most ground pokes can live a HP Ice and KO with EQ

Yes i know it will be uncommon for you oppent to have both Those Pokes but Dusknoir can be common and with ruins the 3 physical attackers you got and puts u at a huge disadvantage since it will heal itself by stealing your pokes health with Pain Split

With the extra boost of nature for Donphan it makes it more likely to 2HKO Salamence and other dragons. Milotic although it's used as SpA spounge as putting the boost in Def makes it possible for Milotic to take physical hits to, so then it's possible for me to threaten more pokemon with Hypnosis.
Should i change the natures of Donphan o'r Milotic so they can take more hits, or should i keep them how they are?

Thx for the help.

Solution(I hope)

I'f i can keep Ambipom, alive and useful then he can put a considerable dent in Ludicolo, although i do see your point.

As for Weavile i've decided that a choice band set would be better, would a choice band Ice Shard do enough damage to KO most people with a weakness to Ice. Or would i still be looking at a 2HKO with Weavile. Also the only problem with Weavile is being locked into using Pursuite, is a choice banded Pursuite enough to KO a Gengar who foolishly decided to stay in the battle. Also if I replaced Weaviles Night Slash with X-scissor, then he could be a counter for Ludicolo and other grass types.

Ive updated some changes to the team.
