252+ SpA Mold Breaker Mega Ampharos Thunderbolt vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Talonflame: 350-414 (97.4 - 115.3%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO
252+ SpA Mold Breaker Mega Ampharos Volt Switch vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Talonflame: 272-324 (75.7 - 90.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

VS Starmie:

252+ SpA Mold Breaker Mega Ampharos Volt Switch vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Starmie: 342-404 (105.8 - 125%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Mold Breaker Mega Ampharos Thunderbolt vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Starmie: 440-518 (136.2 - 160.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO

VS Ferrothorn:
0 Atk Ferrothorn Gyro Ball (79 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Mega Ampharos: 39-46 (10.1 - 11.9%) -- possible 9HKO
252+ SpA Mold Breaker Mega Ampharos Focus Blast vs. 252 HP / 168 SpD Ferrothorn: 262-310 (74.4 - 88%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

It would take 2 max roll attacks from each to kill Amphy. Even then, the total from the six attacks only equals 107.4%. Long story short, Ampharos destroys this core.

Manaphy @ Leftovers
Ability: Hydration
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Tail Glow
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Scald
- Shadow Ball

Manaphy is an extremely big threat to the core thanks to its ability to OHKO all members of the core after a boost. Manaphy also lures Ferrothorn and OHKOes it with Hidden Power Fire after a Tail Glow boost, and counters Starmie due to the weak nature of defensive Starmie. Even after Reflect Type Manaphy's boosted Shadow Ball will do a lot to Starmie, and it goes without saying the +3 Scald OHKOes Talonflame.

Garchomp @ Lum Berry
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Dragon Claw
- Fire Fang

Garchomp can set up a Swords Dance on any member of the core and then proceed to OHKO them with Earthquake, Dragon Claw or Fire Fang. The lack of Speed investment on Talonflame means Talonflame only gets 1 chance to spread burns and Garchomp laughs that off with Lum Berry (heck, it may even Taunt you thinking you are Tank Chomp, in which case you get a free +2 with Lum Berry still intact). The only way Garchomp loses is if it got burned twice (either by 2 Scalds or 1 Scald+1 Wisp) so don't take unnecessary risk.

Raikou @ Choice Specs
Ability: Pressure
EV's: 12 HP/252 SpA/244 Spe
Timid Nature
-Thunderbolt
-Volt Switch
-Hidden Power Fire
-Shadow Ball

Raikou puts a lot of pressure on this core by threatening to KO Talonflame and Starmie and by luring in Ferrothorn to take up to 93% from HP Fire. Obviously Raikou gets shut down by fat grounds, so it needs to be paired with something that can handle them. Due to HP Fire making it slower than the base 115's, the EV spread lets it speed creep Serperior and give it a little bulk.

Calcs:

252 SpA Choice Specs Raikou Hidden Power Fire vs. 252 HP / 168 SpD Ferrothorn: 276-328 (78.4 - 93.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252 SpA Choice Specs Raikou Thunderbolt vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Talonflame: 368-434 (102.5 - 120.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252 SpA Choice Specs Raikou Thunderbolt vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Starmie: 458-542 (141.7 - 167.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

*Edit* Thanks GnralLao for catching my error with the EV spread. Random Passerby suggested I change the EV spread to outrun Timid Serp, so I've adjusted the spread accordingly.

Ummm, I'm pretty sure you mean 32 HP / 248 SpA / 232 Spe or something along the lines as you have a total of 536 EV points instead of 508.

Kyurem-Black @ Life Orb
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 96 Atk / 252 SpA / 152 Spe
Rash Nature

- Outrage / Iron Head
- Fusion Bolt
- Ice Beam
- Hidden Power Fire

With a spread that outspeeds neutral base 80s (hoopa-U), Kyurem-B is a huge threat to this core, despite loathing burn. Fusion Bolt defeats Talonflame and Starmie easily, while HP fire does a solid 85% to ferrothorn. It especially loves coming into a starmie that's busy spinning or recovering, and destabilize the core. Outrage and ice beam can defeat many partners to this core, but iron head can be used to 2HKO clef.

Talonflame
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Flare Blitz
- Acrobatics
- Roost

Acrobatics Talonflame uses Tangrowth as complete set-up fodder, taking every hit with ease, even after Stealth Rock. The only way it can touch it is with Earthquake on the predicted Roost, which Talonflame doesn't really need to do, since it only takes around 25% max from any of Tangrowth's moves and doesn't need to take recoil from Brave Bird. After a Swords Dance, +2 Acrobatics OHKOs both members. It can't set up very easily on Tornadus-T (it technically can, but takes 64% min. from Hurricane, although it can just Roost spam praying for a miss if you need to), however.

0 SpA Tangrowth Leaf Storm vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Talonflame: 51-60 (17.1 - 20.2%) -- possible 5HKO

0 Atk Tangrowth Knock Off vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Talonflame: 62-74 (20.8 - 24.9%) -- guaranteed 5HKO

0 SpA Tangrowth Hidden Power Ice vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Talonflame: 64-76 (21.5 - 25.5%) -- 0.6% chance to 4HKO

Mega Aerodactyl.

Aerodactyl @ Aerodactylite
Ability: Unnerve
EVs: 72 HP / 252 Atk / 184 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Aerial Ace
- Stone Edge
- Aqua Tail
- Fire Fang

Mega Aerodactyl can use both of its STAB moves to easily destroy this core. Aerodactyl can actually switch in to anything Tornadus-T has and OHKO easily with Stone Edge. Mega Aero also survives two Leaf Storms from Tangrowth, even with max rolls and 2HKO's with Aerial Ace.

252 Atk Mega Aerodactyl Stone Edge vs. 156 HP / 0 Def Tornadus-T: 408-480 (120.7 - 142%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252 Atk Tough Claws Mega Aerodactyl Aerial Ace vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Tangrowth: 222-264 (54.9 - 65.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Staraptor @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Reckless
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Double-Edge
- Close Combat
- U-turn / Final Gambit

This thing just breaks this core with its stupidly powerful moves after SR, but ends up killing itself in the process
252 Atk Reckless Staraptor Brave Bird vs. 156 HP / 0 Def Tornadus-T: 268-316 (79.2 - 93.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
252 Atk Reckless Staraptor Brave Bird vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Tangrowth: 368-434 (91 - 107.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

I'm kinda surprised it's not even guaranteed without rocks, but w/e it's still a threat

Nature: Calm
- Moonblast
- Softboiled
- Calm Mind
- Thunder Wave

Easily sets up on both members of the core. Doesn't like getting its Leftovers removed but neither Pokemon can break past it at all regardless.

100 SpA Tornadus-T Hurricane vs. 252 HP / 84+ SpD Clefable: 127-151 (32.2 - 38.3%) -- 96.7% chance to 3HKO

Weavile @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Icicle Crash
- Knock Off
- Ice Shard
- Low Kick / Poison Jab

Weavile is faster than both Pokemon in this core and OHKOs Tornadus-T while heavily damaging Tangrowth with STAB Icicle Crash. Even without Life Orb, Weavile still manages to retain the OHKO / 2HKO on the core with its Ice STAB.

Kyurem-Black @ Life Orb
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 56 HP/ 252 SpA/ 200 Spe
Mild Nature
-Roost
-Ice Beam
-Fusion Bolt
-Earth Power

If you need a core broken, there's not much better than KyuB. The standard LO/Roost variant beats this core by OKHO'ing Torn-T with Fusion Bolt and easily 2HKO'ing Tangrowth with Ice Beam. What's especially nice about KyuB is that it only takes about 62% average from Torn-T's Focus Blast and can Roost off the damage when facing Tangrowth.
Basically, it runs straight through this core and the core can't do anything back.

Calcs:
56 Atk Life Orb Teravolt Kyurem-B Fusion Bolt vs. 156 HP / 0 Def Tornadus-T: 372-439 (110 - 129.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Life Orb Teravolt Kyurem-B Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Assault Vest Tangrowth: 289-343 (71.5 - 84.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

100 SpA Tornadus-T Focus Blast vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Kyurem-B: 226-266 (57.8 - 68%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

I'll start with a premise: I'm no Charizard fanatic! It' just that the starter dragon can be sooo good against those pesky Regenerators! With that said, it's time for the analysis!

Charizard @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Fire Blast
- Solar Beam
- Focus Blast
- Roost

Simply put, Mega Charizard Y is amazing against both members of this core. It takes little to moderate damage from the core members and can plow through the duo thanks to its amazing Sun-boosted Fire Blasts.

VS. Tornadus

100 SpA Tornadus-T Hurricane vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Mega Charizard Y: 126-148 (42.4 - 49.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
252 SpA Mega Charizard Y Fire Blast vs. 156 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Tornadus-T in Sun: 229-270 (67.7 - 79.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

I admit that Mega Charizard Y would need a bit of luck to succeed against Tornadus-T, since Fire Blast can fail at times despite its rather acceptable accuracy and a potential confusion caused by Hurricane could be annoying, if not deadly, but overall the Fire Lizard(don) is a nice answer to this Pokémon.

VS. Tangrowth

0 Atk Tangrowth Knock Off vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Mega Charizard Y: 57-68 (19.1 - 22.8%) -- possible 5HKO
252 SpA Mega Charizard Y Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Assault Vest Tangrowth in Sun: 452-534 (111.8 - 132.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO

And keep in mind that this is Tangrowth's strongest attack. In other words, Tangrowth simply has no chance against Charizard, which can cleanly burn its vines.

Charizard-Y
Oh, sorry! I was writing the analysis before noticing this message. Should I change my nomination?

Latias @ Latiasite
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 84 Def / 176 Spe
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Roost
- Refresh
- Stored Power

Mega Latias uses both members of the core as set up fodder, and can use Refresh to heal potential confusion from Hurricane. At +2, Stored Power easily 2HKOs both members, which can't really do anything back to Lati. Alternatively, you could run more bulk since Speed is not necessary to beat this core.

0 Atk Tangrowth Knock Off vs. 248 HP / 84+ Def Mega Latias: 68-82 (18.7 - 22.5%) -- possible 5HKO (Tangrowth's best move)
100 SpA Tornadus-T Hurricane vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Mega Latias: 100-118 (27.5 - 32.5%) -- guaranteed 4HKO (Torn-T's best move)

+2 0 SpA Mega Latias Stored Power (100 BP) vs. 156 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Tornadus-T: 210-247 (62.1 - 73%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+2 0 SpA Mega Latias Stored Power (100 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Assault Vest Tangrowth: 208-246 (51.4 - 60.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

EVs: 248 HP / 28 Atk / 44+ Def / 188 SpD
Impish Nature
- Swords Dance

- Bullet Punch
- U-turn

Mega Scizor poses a huge threat to the core thanks to its ability to take on both Tornadus-T and Tangrowth with relative ease. Tornadus-T fails to 2HKO with Hurricane, and Mega Scizor 2HKOes back with boosted Bullet Punch (or has a 30% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock), and it goes without saying that +2 U-turn destroys Tangrowth utterly.

Thundurus @ Leftovers / Life Orb
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 Def
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- HP Flying / HP Ice
- Nasty Plot
- Thunder Wave

Thundurus honey badgers it up against this pair. Tangrowth's HP Ice is the only attack that can even 3HKO; their uninvested Knock Offs are weak and every other move is resisted by the genie. Even Tornadus' superior Speed is a non-issue, thanks to Prankster TWave.

0 SpA Tangrowth Hidden Power Ice vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Thundurus: 112-134 (37.4 - 44.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

Mega Slowbro laughs at any physical attackers (including Weavile, Staraptor, Mega Aerodactyl, etc.) and can simply Iron Defense up to make itself more impenetrable or Calm Mind up and start patching up it's uninvested SpA and SpD. Rest allows Mega Slowbro to heal off Toxic or burns although Psyshock is an option to win in a Calm Mind war against Clefable.

Midnight strikes, and a beautiful Princess of Diamonds makes a glorious appearance!

Diancie @ Diancite
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 32 Atk / 224 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Moonblast
- Diamond Storm
- HP Fire
- Protect

Thanks to her impeccable offensive stats, unique typing and respectable speed, Mega Diancie can beat, or at least cripple, most of the checks that could give problems to Tornadus-T and Tangrowth, namely Fire- and Flying-type Pokémon. She also can repel status effects and keep the hazards out of the field, which helps her partners take full advantage of their Regenerators. In exchange, Tornadus-T can deal with problematic Grass-types like Mega Venusaur and Serperior while Tangrowth can handle Water-types, Ground-types and some Steel-types that threaten Mega Diancie. Just beware of Bullet Punch or other strong moves: only one hit and the Diamond Princess will shatter like cheap glass.

VS. Checks
252 Atk Talonflame Acrobatics (110 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mega Diancie: 60-72 (24.8 - 29.8%) -- 100% chance to 4HKO
+2 252 Atk Talonflame Acrobatics (110 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mega Diancie: 120-142 (49.7 - 58.9%) -- 99.6% chance to 2HKO
32 Atk Mega Diancie Diamond Storm vs. 120 HP / 0 Def Talonflame: 880-1036 (269.1 - 316.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
32 Atk Mega Diancie Diamond Storm vs. (Roost) 120 HP / 0 Def Talonflame: 440-518 (134.5 - 158.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Mega Diancie can switch rather freely into Talonflame and destroy it with a Diamond Storm, even after losing its Flying-type with Roost.

--

248 Atk Tough Claws Mega Aerodactyl Aqua Tail vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mega Diancie: 248-292 (102.9 - 121.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
32 Atk Mega Diancie Diamond Storm vs. 72 HP / 0 Def Mega Aerodactyl: 380-450 (119.1 - 141%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Mega Diancie may be able to OHKO Mega Aerodactyl... but so can Mega Aerodactyl! You should carefully avoid Aqua Tail, which can cleanly destroy Mega Diancie.

--

252 Atk Staraptor Close Combat vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mega Diancie: 114-135 (47.3 - 56%) -- 80.9% chance to 2HKO
32 Atk Mega Diancie Diamond Storm vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Staraptor: 440-522 (141.4 - 167.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Mega Diancie is able tank a Close Combat and kill the bird with a single Diamond Storm.

--

0 SpA Clefable Moonblast vs. 0 HP / 0- SpD Mega Diancie: 102-120 (42.3 - 49.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
+1 0 SpA Clefable Moonblast vs. 0 HP / 0- SpD Mega Diancie: 151-178 (62.6 - 73.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
32 Atk Mega Diancie Diamond Storm vs. 252 HP / 172 Def Clefable: 174-205 (44.1 - 52%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

Clefable can be quite difficult for Mega Diance to handle, since it can setup on her and heal damage with Soft-boiled. However, if you manage to switch Mega Diancie into a Thunder Wave then the moon fairy should be easier to handle, as long as it lacks Heal Bell.

--

252 Atk Life Orb Weavile Icicle Crash vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mega Diancie: 157-187 (65.1 - 77.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
224 SpA Mega Diancie Moonblast vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Weavile: 408-482 (145.1 - 171.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

The best way to handle Weavile would be through revenge killing. Icicle Crash can take a chunk off of Mega Diancie's HP and finish her off with Ice Shard, so avoid to switch her in directly.

--

252+ SpA Life Orb Teravolt Kyurem-B Earth Power vs. 0 HP / 0- SpD Mega Diancie: 273-322 (113.2 - 133.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Teravolt Kyurem-B Earth Power vs. 0 HP / 0- SpD Mega Diancie: 210-248 (87.1 - 102.9%) -- 18.8% chance to OHKO
224 SpA Mega Diancie Moonblast vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Kyurem-B: 390-458 (99.7 - 117.1%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO

Kyurem-B could be a great gamble for Mega Diancie, but if you manage to Knock Off its Life Orb then you may stand a better chance.

252 SpA Mega Charizard Y Solar Beam vs. 0 HP / 0- SpD Mega Diancie: 312-368 (129.4 - 152.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Another risky match-up for Miss Diamond. Admittedly, this match-up relies a lot on luck, so Mega Diancie is a quite shaky check.

+1 0 SpA Mega Latias Stored Power (60 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0- SpD Mega Diancie: 133-157 (55.1 - 65.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
224 SpA Mega Diancie Moonblast vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Mega Latias: 252-296 (69.4 - 81.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
224 SpA Mega Diancie Moonblast vs. +1 248 HP / 0 SpD Mega Latias: 168-200 (46.2 - 55%) -- 60.5% chance to 2HKO

As long as Mega Latias doesn't manage to setup, Mega Diancie is capable to handle the Eon without too many problems. Mega Diancie can even take a boosted Stored Power in a pinch, but must still beware.

224 SpA Mega Diancie Moonblast vs. (No Multiscale) 0 HP / 0 SpD Dragonite: 356-420 (110.2 - 130%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Make sure to break the Multiscale ability before switching in Mega Diancie, otherwise you're in for a rough ride.

28 Atk Technician Mega Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mega Diancie: 348-412 (144.3 - 170.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO
224 SpA Mega Diancie Hidden Power Fire vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Mega Scizor: 300-356 (87.4 - 103.7%) -- 25% chance to OHKO

Yikes! Mega Diancie simply doesn't want to meddle with this metallic bug! Handling Mega Scizor is extremely tricky and requires immense amounts of successful predictions to take it down, or a lucky Defense boost.

252 SpA Thundurus Thunderbolt vs. 0 HP / 0- SpD Mega Diancie: 147-174 (60.9 - 72.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
32 Atk Mega Diancie Diamond Storm vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Thundurus: 440-522 (147.1 - 174.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
32 Atk Mega Diancie Diamond Storm vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Thundurus: 440-522 (147.1 - 174.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Mega Diancie can resist an unboosted Thunderbolt and strike back, but a powered-up Thundurus is a no-no for her. Facing him would require some good predictions.

(basically any ttar set works)

This core is very threatened by flying, psychic, and fire types, so ttar makes an excellent member to the core by checking all of these types and pursuit trapping CM Lati@s, which is a big threat to this core as well as being able to provide rock support if it runs a support set. Lastly, it provides physical attacking presence that this core needs, as both members of it are special attackers.

Peril (Manectric) @ Manectite
Ability: Lightningrod
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Overheat
- Hidden Power Ice

Mega Manectric deals with powerful physical attackers such as Mega Scizor, Talonflame, Aerodactyl, and Weavile, thanks to Intimidate softening up physical hits, while also providing great momentum and more oppurtunities for the other members to gain Regenerator HP thanks to Volt Switch. In return, Tangrowth handles bulky Ground-types such as Hippowdon and Gastrodon that Manectric has issues with, while Tornadus-T provides a blazing-fast U-turn and can beat bulky Grass-types such as Mega Venusaur and Celebi. However, this makes the core slightly weaker to Charizard X and strong Calm Mind users such as Latias and Clefable, which can be a bit scary.

Hippowdon @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 144 Def / 112 SpD
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Slack Off

Handles the powerful Fire and Flying-types that pose a big threat to the core (particulalry Charizard-X and Talonflame), and as a stury physical wall which pairs well with the mostly specially-defensive nature of this core. Also acts as a secondary answer to Electric-types in case Tangrowth gets overwhelmed. The core also supports it quite well in return, by covering Water- and Grass- types which threaten it.

Jingle Jangle (Klefki) @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Spikes
- Thunder Wave
- Play Rough
- Magnet Rise/Toxic

Klefki gives a solid check to the ice and flying types that give the core trouble. It lays spikes, which are incredibly useful, especially with a balance regenerator core, due to the amount of switches the core can force. Klefki is also able to Thunder Wave the things it is unable to check (ex. Mega Char X) that still give the core trouble. The only drawback with using Klefki is that a fire weakness is compounded, so using some sort of fire check (like Tran) as well would be beneficial.
