Hi everyone. I present a team that sent me to the 1900s.
Ivy Fury (
) (F) @ Cornerstone Mask
Ability: Sturdy
Tera Type: Rock
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Ivy Cudgel
- Power Whip
- Knock Off
Main star of the team. Great at wallbreaking and punching holes. Why not
though? Simple. It can actually damage flying types, Sturdy is nice for clutching hits, and its STAB combination is very strong. Used Knock Off over Low Kick for hitting
extra hard. Fits well into the offence playstyle, since it doesn't need to last so long, and has to be stopped immeditely due to its strength. Tera Rock does ludicrous damage it any switch in, and does heavy damage to
and
.
usually doesn't run Teras for
, so it gets blasted with +2 Power Whip or Ivy Cudgel. Pinkacross suggested Adamant to be used for the extra power, like ohkoing offensive
, and i do not regret that change at all. In addition, its great against sticky webs, cuz
and
crumple to ivy cudgel.
Lord's Gambit (
) @ Air Balloon
Ability: Supreme Overlord
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Sucker Punch
- Swords Dance
- Low Kick
- Iron Head
is used for its endgame sweeps, and general revenge killing with Sucker Punch. Low Kick is used to stop opposing
and
quickly, leaving more Health for other teammates to manage bigger threats. Tera Fire is used to have a burn immunity, and resist Fairies like
. Jolly is used to have at worst a speedtie with opposing
, and chunk things like
or
using only 200 Speed. Also helps wear down shared checks with Cornerstone like
. Air Balloon is used to be safer into
, and a free setup against
.
Draconic Anomaly (
) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Infiltrator
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Dragon Darts
- Hex
- Thunder Wave
- U-turn
is used for speed control, and status spreading abilities, while also still hitting very hard with Hex. Hasty is the nature here, since
carries knock off like 90% of the time, so the MU doesn't really matter. Darts is nice even with little investment, since it can chip
or
enough to force some healing. Thunder Wave is best for this set, as it helps limit offensive threats like
or
. Tera Ghost is used to turn into a decent breaker with status.
Great Mustache (
) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Intimidate
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earth Power
- U-turn
- Taunt
is used to check threats like
and
, and hit back with solid power against things like
. Pretty standard set and EVs, with Tera Water and Rocky Helmet to be a better hit taker. Used to pivot for
and lay hazard chip on the opposing side, making it easier to smash through with
. Taunt is also useful to prevent recovery, meaning it can force a switch, letting it U-turn into
.
Century Tank (
)@ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Psyshock
- Sludge Bomb
- Flamethrower
- Ice Beam
The GOAT AND MVP BABY!!! I needed to have a solid mixed wall, though primarily on the special side. I looked for a while, then found a set Shaymin Sky sent. I was skeptical at first, but oh my god this thing can tank anything. It's typing is just so nice for my team, cuz it'll take things like Headlong Rush from
, to Ivy Cudgel from
. It is a absolute tank, with amazing coverage for my team, so hitting not hard isn't too much of an issue.
,
, and
are basically non issues as long as
stays alive. Tera Fairy is just as another insurance against
and to have a solid defensive typing for the rest of the metagame.
Kick To Heaven (
) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Blaze
Tera Type: Bug
EVs: 16 HP / 240 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Pyro Ball
- U-turn
- Will-O-Wisp
- Court Change
is back in action with utility and power. Great at spreading burns and hazard control, letting
preserve Sturdy more effectively. Also great at pivoting with U-turn, and being a solid check to many threats. Found this set from Professor Suicune, which was the perfect set for me. Quick run down, it takes
Wood Hammer, and Earth Power from
. Tera Bug is actually really nice, since not only is it nice to resist attacks from
, but having stab U-turn is neat as well for chunking something hard like
or
.
