Cradilly + Sandstream = ?

How well do you think this style fares? I'm talking about the first set in the Anaylsis section, if you don't know. I'm thinking about adding it to my team... but doe it fit it an OU envirnoment under sandstorm conditions?
 
Cradily certainly could serve as a good special wall under Sandstream conditions, and I've used it to some success. It's disheartening that a max Special Defense, max HP, Careful Cradily is still inferior to a minimum HP, minimum Special Defense, neutral nature Blissey in terms of Special Defense even under Sandstream conditions, though. Additionally, it is simultaneously inferior to Blissey in Defense, too. The Ice weakness also gets annoying.
 
I've found it pretty useful on my TSS team, though. It's especially a lot of fun to pass a Bulk Up or two to it, because it already has decent defense and great SpDef, but the Atk and Def boosts coupled with its ability allow it to stay in and clear out the end game.

The only thing that sucks is its Bug weakness - Yanmega still can't 2HKO without Specs, though.
 
If you use it as a special wall than no.

If you use it as a sort of bulky tank with Swords Dance/Stone Edge/Seed Bomb/Recover than it could do a number as the Sandstream bonus lets it set up in quite alot of conditions.
 
I just tested Cradily out a few minutes ago.. strange how I find this topic. It works splendid. Especially with recover and mirror coat. Though, if you're up against anything like... Close Combat. I suggest you get the hell out ahead of time before you die. Nice stall Pokemon though.. and hits harder than I thought it would for a wall.
 
Yeah, Cradily is actually pretty good. It's not as tough as Bliss, but hits much harder (base 81 atk stats) and can't be phazed out. It'd make a good baton pass recipient. In Sandstorm it'd be better than Blissey IMO because it gains 1/16th HP each turn instead of none at all. The counter and mirror coat combo is always nice, especially when you have Recover.

Cradily is an all around good pokemon, and on a sandstorm team would be awesome.
 
Cradily is pretty awesome with Sandstorm. Without the sandstorm, high spatk pokemon with focus blast would be a big problem.

It would do much better if it can learn LEECH SEED. -_,-
 
At least it's immune to leech seed, and takes lol damage from sludge bomb. Lets see blissey block leech seed ^_^
