Hi, if you play or watch tournament games you've likely heard of The Alt Rule. As of this posting, it is required in all official team tournaments to play on a globally voiced account or you risk getting infracted. Whether or not this rule improves the spectator's experience is irrelevant to my suggestion, which is creating an alias function to allow players to be recognized while playing on an alternate account.

Right now there exists a "Status" function which looks like the screenshot below;

Most people probably don't know about this, and even fewer use it, but the fact that it is available to use leads me to believe creating another textbox for identifying your globally voiced account is technologically possible. When you want to play on an alt but still use your custom avatars, you simply use the /nick function - I am asking for the implementation of a different command (/alt or /alias are my suggestions) that creates a "status" showing your original account like the below;

This command would allow the players to use their favorite alts, some of which they may have earned through Smogon tournaments, while still being easily recognizable for the spectators. It would also prevent any confusion when an opponent challenges you on an alt, as right now the only safeguard to playing against a non-voiced account is to "alt check" them by making them confirm on Smogon or Discord that the alt they are using on stours is indeed them. It would have to be different from the "Status" textbox though, of course, to prevent people from faking their alt, but making it bold or colored or not-italicized is an easy workaround I imagine.
