I return.. With a good Scizor set this time. Sorry if this has been made before, but I use this on WiFi sometimes and it's pretty useful.

Scizor @ Liechi Berry
Adamant
Technician
252HP/252Atk/4Spe
Endure
Swords Dance
Quick Attack
Bullet Punch

Quick Attack for Starmie/Jolteon or Waters/Electrics in general. Obviously no Scizor set is ever as good as the original boring SD/Band sets, but this one is at least unexpected and fun to try.

Heatran says hi

Steels in general?

There you go. So that includes: Scizor, Magnezone, Metagross, Ferrothorn, Heatran, Excadrill, Skarmory, Forretress, Empoleon, and pretty much any bulky water. Good luck finding a team without one, two, or even three of these guys. Its counters includes basically half the metagame. Not to mention it is easily revenged by priority (ironically).

TBH I can't really say that's a good set. it requires too much work to use and when ferrothorn switches in, scizor becomes instantly useless, especially if it has used its berry.

The ability to predict a ferrothorn switch and hit with superpower/big bite is vastly superior to being able to slightly pinch it while it sets up.

Well, it was good in Generation 4 lol

Seaking
252 Spe/80 Atk/whatever SpA
Naive
@: LO
Lightningrod
~Agility
~Hydro Pump
~Waterfall
~Megahorn

When this thing takes LO Terakion's CC, OHKO's Latios with Megahorn, and does upwards of 40% to Ferrothorn (you can win easily if you Hydro Pump the switch), this thing in the rain is like liquid sun. Lightningrod Boost + Agility= Hydro Pump decimates everything. And because it does, you don't really need any other special moves; MAYBE Ice Beam>Waterfall.

Sooo funny to sweep stuff with this.

Hm,mkay would SuperPower be a good sub for sucker punch?.Oh and from what ive been reading,he has the lowest speed of all dragon types?Would a Trick Room team be any good if paired with Druddigon?

Persian(From a Battle I watched)

Superpower would be bad as it lowers its Defense while it's a bulky set.

I know what Persian you mean (even though I'm typing this as your post isn't finished), you mean this:

Persian @ Leftovers
Jolly
Technician
252Spe/252Atk/4HP
Hone Claws
Hypnosis
Substitute
Aerial Ace/Fury Swipes

Yeah exactly, thats the exact Persian im talking of.My bad my phones alil screwy so my post was choppy. So would Fury Swipes be the safest bet?Its a Nuetral type so it should do just about fair damage to all types(Minus the Ghosts)

Alright,I got it.So then Sucker Punch it is.

Victini@ Life Orb
EVs: 208 Atk / 48 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Overheat
- Flare Blitz
- Zen Headbutt
- U-turn

I really love my mixtini. He's slightly outclassed by infernape on most teams, but on my team, which is rather fighting weak, he is superior with his ability to (more easily) switch into fighting attacks, then hit back with SE Zen Headbutt. Actually, he might just be better overall with the ridiculous overflow of fighting types this gen. Anyways, if you're not sure what to do, use Overheat, as it nearly always dents whatever is going to switch in. After that, either U-Turn out or attack with your STABs. Be careful though; with all the recoil, he doesn't last very long, so be careful with your switch-ins/outs.

Wait, isn't Fury Swipes normal-type? And it does shit damage all the time except when you hit max damage.

STAB Technician boosted Fury Swipes with +4-6 Attack/Accuracy does "shit damage"? It killed a Tyranitar and Excadrill. Check the Battle Video Theater thread.

OH Technician, I forgot about that. My bad!

In which case, the only limiting factor is that it's insanely hard to pull off.

Weavile @ Normal Gem
Nature: Jolly
Ability:
252 Spe/ 252 Atk
Fake Out
Protect
Ice Punch/ Shard
Night Slash

With Hail or Toxic Spikes support, You're Guaranteed to Kill anything at least 1 time. You Switch in on a poisoned opponent, or one weak to Hail, Gem Fake Out, Protect the next turn, Kill with your attack options. Only thing you have to worry about is T.Spikes Immunity and Hail immunity, Carry something for that and you're good to go ^_^

Spiritomb, Prankster Sableye, or pretty much any Steel-type will likely not be killed

If you're going to use Fake Out, I would highly advise against a Normal Gem. It only gives you a single x1.5 boost instead of the steady boost in power you get from a Life Orb or even a Muscle Band. It takes the power down of your Fake Out a bit, but having an item to boost your two other attacks seems preferable. Weavile isn't also breaking through a Steel Type anytime soon, so I would recommend putting Low Kick over Night Slash or your Ice STAB.

One question I have about this set is why would I want to use it over Stallrein or any other hail-stall Pokemon like Abomasnow? Weavile has a lot of trouble coming in unless he's attempting a revenge kill (In which case, it seems like Fake Out + 3 Attacks would work a lot better) and doesn't get that nice 100% Accurate Blizzard.

> Hail Team. Why would you choose one and not both?

This isn't Technically a stall set, You Tick the opponents HP down to a safe enough point to kill, this helps with Weaviles " Can't afford to not OHKO" Weakness

@ Comment about Steel Types I dont make or pick sets catered to weaknesses, I'll always have a mon to cover That, Namely Scarf Typhlosion

So no comments about running it on a Toxic Spikes Team?

2 Layers = Badly poisoned, 2 Turns Stall, Go for the KO

I apologize for not commenting on this earlier, but think about it this way:

Assume confusion. There are 4 equally likely scenarios:

Dodrio is hit, is not confused (loss)
Dodrio is not hit, is not confused (win)
Dodrio is not hit, hits itself in confusion (loss)
Dodrio is hit, hits itself in confusion (loss)

Note that there is only one scenario where Dodrio succeeds at hitting an opponent. Basically, don't use Tangled Feet Dodrio; Confusion is a terrible status and it's not reliable.

Also, isn't it rest and sleep talk?

I saw a friend of mine use this as a joke and it wound up being surprisingly effective.

Relicanth @ Leftovers
Impish
252 HP/4 SpAtk/252 SpDef
-Calm Mind
-Rest
-Sleep Talk
-Scald

Ferrothorn kind of hard counters you but holy shit this thing his hard to take down.

No not really:

Pokemon used sleep talk, pokemon uses one move. (win)
Pokemon uses sleep talk, pokemon uses the other move. (win)
Pokemon uses sleep talk, pokemon uses rest. (loss)

66% is pretty good good for me.

They'll switch to a Steel type, and force out your Weavile, so it's not very useful. Like, it now has a "Can't afford to hit not-very-effective" problem since it has such poor coverage.

I mean, no one in their right mind is going to have their pokemon sit out for 2 turns in poison when they can switch in a steel and completely stop you.

It doesn't really matter if you can COVER steel types with the rest of your team, since they'll just switch it out when Typhlosion comes out.
