Cresselia's amazing bulk coupled with a reliable recovery in Moonlight makes it a dangerous Calm Mind sweeper. In addition, Electric Seed makes Cresselia even harder to take down when activated. The ability to run an item and higher bulk set Cresselia apart from its main competitor, Mega Latias. The EV spread lets Cresselia survive max Attack Tapu Bulu's Wood Hammer in Grassy Terrain if it is a critical hit as well as outpace Mega Metagross after one Icy Wind and 2HKO Mega Salamence with Icy Wind. Cresselia is hopelessly walled by Incineroar and any Steel-type not named Kartana, so checks to them are mandatory teammates. The likes of Landorus-T, Zygarde, and Mega Charizard Y perform this role well. The latter is an especially notable partner because the sunshine caused by Drought increases Moonlight's recovery. Don't forget to pair Cresselia with Tapu Koko not only to activate Electric Seed but also because Tapu Koko's Taunt can block moves like Toxic and Whirlwind for Cresselia.

It's worthwhile to mention Tapu Koko, both because of the obvious Electric Seed usefulness and because Taunt can block Toxic/Whirlwind/opposing Taunt for Cress.

Also, the spread is enough to take a *crit* from max Attack Tapu Bulu's Wood Hammer. Cress is kind of absurd like that.
