Poison
========

Crobat provides entry hazard removal while also providing a key Ground immunity, allowing Poison teams to take on powerful and threatening Ground-types like Choice Scarf Excadrill and Landorus, making it a great utility Pokemon for Poison. Its high Speed allows it to work as a great fast pivot by chipping foes with U-turn and switching into teammates like Mega Venusaur and Toxapex. Crobat also has access to Taunt, which can help prevent opposing walls from healing, setup sweepers from setting up, and utility Pokemon from setting hazards. Crobat's mediocre bulk limits its ability to switch in on attacks and hazards continuously throughout the battle and forces it to switch out to defensive teammates frequently, which limits its opportunities to use Roost and Defog. Although its Flying typing provides an important Ground immunity, it also comes with a weakness to Rock-, Ice-, and Electric-type moves, all of which are extremely common coverage and a weakness to Stealth Rock, which limits Crobat's ability to switch in and Defog throughout a battle. Crobat's mediocre Attack also prevents it from doing any notable damage to most defensive Pokemon, as they can easily recover any damage taken.

Moves
========

Defog allows Crobat to remove entry hazards for its teammates, allowing defensive teammates to stay healthy and continuously switch in throughout a battle. Roost is very important for Crobat, allowing it to maintain high HP through the course of a battle. Brave Bird is Crobat's primary STAB attack that provides decent damage against unresisted foes as well as against key threats such as Mega Pinsir and Mega Gallade. U-turn allows Crobat to act as a fast pivot, enabling it to provide small chip damage to a foe while bringing in a teammate that can handle the opposing Pokemon. Taunt is an option over U-turn in order to prevent opposing walls such as Chansey from recovering, as well as prevent utility Pokemon such as Klefki and Mantine from setting hazards, using Defog, and using other non-attacking moves.

Set Details
========

192 Speed EVs along with a Jolly nature allow Crobat to outspeed important threats to the team such as Greninja and Alakazam. 252 HP EVs and 64 Defense EVs maximize Crobat's bulk. Black Sludge gives Crobat passive recovery, granting it more longevity throughout a battle. Infiltrator allows Crobat to bypass Substitute against users such as Mega Gyarados as well as bypass Reflect to more readily attack foes such Mega Gallade in the Psychic matchup.

Usage Tips
========

Switch Crobat in on opposing entry hazard setters such as Hippowdon and Swampert so that it can immediately remove the hazards and then pivot out with U-turn. Take advantage of Crobat's Ground immunity to switch in on Ground-type attackers like Excadrill and Landorus. Try to maintain Crobat's HP as much as possible with Roost so that it can continuously switch in on hazards and remove them. Keep momentum up in a battle by utilizing U-turn to chip down foes while switching out to a teammate that can handle the opposing Pokemon. However, be careful not to use U-turn too hastily if Crobat's HP is getting low, as it requires high HP to continuously remove hazards throughout a battle. Use Taunt liberally to shut down passive utility Pokemon and walls such as Chansey and Clefable to keep them from setting hazards and recovering HP. Be wary of switching in on opposing Pokemon looking to use Thunder Wave or Will-O-Wisp, as paralysis inhibits Crobat's ability to outspeed and quickly pivot, and burn minimizes the damage it can do to foes while slowly reducing its HP.

Team Options
========

All of Crobat's potential teammates immensely appreciate Crobat's immunity to Ground and ability to remove entry hazards. Mega Venusaur is a great defensive partner for Crobat, as it is able to take on Electric-types for Crobat as well as provide passive recovery for Crobat as it switches in using Leech Seed. Mega Venusaur also pairs especially well with Crobat because, when combined, they can take on most threatening Ground-types. Alolan Muk has a very important Psychic immunity as well as great Special Defense; it serves as a great partner for Crobat in order to Pursuit trap and eliminate threatening Psychic-types that Crobat cannot handle, such as Alolan Raichu and Latios. Crobat pairs well with Toxapex, as Toxapex is able to set Toxic Spikes, and Crobat can prevent foes from effectively removing them thanks to Taunt. Additionally, Toxapex provides a very important Ice resistance and high Defense, freely switching in on Pokemon that threaten Crobat such as Weavile and Terrakion. Nihilego is a very effective revenge killer that can take on faster threats to Crobat such as Tapu Koko, Choice Scarf Victini, and Mega Aerodactyl, most notably helping out with the Flying matchup. Nidoking and Nidoqueen are both able to set Stealth Rock, which chips down foes throughout the battle, working well with Crobat's ability to pivot. They are also able to take on Electric-, Steel-, and Rock-types that Crobat cannot threaten such as Zapdos, Celesteela, and Nihilego. Gengar is another revenge killer that is able to take on threats to Crobat such as Jirachi and Slowbro, and it can also form a hazard-maintaining core with Crobat, as Crobat can prevent Defog with Taunt and Gengar can spinblock.

Crobat could use Rocky Helmet instead of Black Sludge to punish physical attackers that make contact; however, Crobat loses out on passive recovery from Black Sludge, limiting its longevity throughout a battle.

Checks and Counters
===================

Poison
--------
**Revenge Killers and Setup Sweepers**: Fast revenge killers such as Choice Scarf Victini and setup sweepers like Porygon-Z easily outspeed and KO Crobat due to its mediocre defenses.

**Super Effective Attackers**: Common Rock- and Electric-types like Mega Diancie and Tapu Koko resist Crobat's Brave Bird and KO it with their powerful STAB attacks. Additionally, common Ice-types like Kyurem-B take little damage from Crobat and OHKO it in return.

**Steel-types**: Steel-types such as Excadrill and Celesteela resist Crobat's two commonly run attacks and fire back with powerful moves, forcing it to switch out to one of its teammates.

**Paralysis**: Paralysis inhibits Crobat's ability to function as a fast pivot as well as its ability to consistently outspeed foes in order to best utilize Roost and Defog.

* Crobat provides a key Ground-type immunity for Poison teams along with the ability to remove entry hazards from the field, allowing it to act as a great utility Pokemon for Poison.
* Its high Speed allows it to work as a great fast pivot by chipping opponents with U-turn and switching into defensive teammates like Mega Venusaur and Toxapex.
* Crobat also has access to Taunt which can help prevent opposing walls from healing, setup sweepers from setting up, or utility Pokemon from setting entry hazards.
* I would give examples of strong Ground-type wallbreakers that it pressures just by being on the field since you can expand a bit more on its immunity (Excadrill, Diggersby)
* Crobat's mediocre bulk limits its ability to switch in on attacks and hazard continuously throughout the battle. It also forces Crobat to switch out to defensive teammates frequently, which may inhibit its ability to Roost or Defog.
* Although its Flying typing provides an important Ground immunity, it also comes with a weakness to Rock-, Ice-, and Electric-type moves, all of which are extremely common coverage. I would mention how the Flying typing itself limits it somewhat as a hazard remover, as it gives it a weakness to Stealth Rock and takes 25% every time it comes in to Defog.
* Crobat's mediocre Attack also prevents it from doing any notable damage from most defensive Pokemon as they can easily recover any damage taken.

So a small comment here, but I think the EV spread should be changed. The one I gave reaches 378 Speed, just enough to outspeed LO Greninja. As far as I’m concerned there aren’t any relevant offensive Pokemon that you miss out on, plus you’re boosting your offensive presence by investing into Attack and somewhat alleviates how passive it can be. The Attack investment heavily increases your chance to KO Mega Gallade from full and gives it a decent chance to 2HKO Mega Venu, guaranteed after rocks.

* Brave Bird is Crobat's primary STAB attack that provides decent damage against unresisted foes as well as against Pokemon weak to Flying such as Mega Pinsir Mega Venusaur and Infernape Mega Gallade. (More important examples here)
* U-turn allows Crobat to act as a fast pivot, enabling it to provide small chip damage to a foe while bringing in a defensive teammate that can handle the opposing Pokemon.
* Taunt is an option over U-turn in order to prevent opposing walls such as Chansey from recovering, as well as prevent utility Pokemon from setting hazards, using Defog, or other non-attacking moves such as from Klefki and Mantine.

* 248 HP maximizes Crobat's bulk while minimizing Stealth Rock damage so that it can more readily switch into hazards.
* 8 Special Defense ensures that Download users such as Porygon2 do not receive a Special Attack boost upon switchin.
* Black Sludge gives Crobat passive recovery per turn, granting it more longevity throughout a battle.
* Infiltrator allows Crobat to bypass Substitute against users such as Mega Gyarados as well as bypass screens to more readily attack foes behind screens such as in the Fairy matchup.

* Crobat provides entry hazards removal from the field, while also providing a key Ground-type immunity for Poison allowing it to take on powerful and threatening Ground-types like Excadrill and Landorus, making it a great utility Pokemon for Poison. Does it reliably take on either of those threats, except Choice Scarf Excadrill?
* Its high Speed allows it to work as a great fast pivot by chipping opponents with U-turn and switching into defensive teammates like Mega Venusaur and Toxapex. Just say "teammates" since you can u-turn into offensive mons like Nidoking as well.
* Crobat also has access to Taunt which can help prevent opposing walls from healing, setup sweepers from setting up, or utility Pokemon from setting entry hazards.
* Crobat's mediocre bulk limits its ability to switch in on attacks and hazard continuously throughout the battle. It also forces Crobat to switch out to defensive teammates frequently, which may inhibit its ability to Roost or Defog. I'd say something like "limit its opportunities to use Roost or Defog"

* Defog allows Crobat to remove hazards for its teammates, allowing defensive teammates to maintain high HP and continuously switch in throughout a battle.
* Roost is very important for Crobat as it allows it to maintain high HP through the course of a battle. "Mantain high HP" sounds weird. Maybe just say "stay healthy"
* Brave Bird is Crobat's primary STAB attack that provides decent damage against unresisted foes as well as against Pokemon weak to Flying such as Mega Pinsir and Mega Gallade. Mega Pinsir and Mega Gallade are more like "key threats" than just pokemon weak to Flying
* U-turn allows Crobat to act as a fast pivot, enabling it to provide small chip damage to a foe while bringing in a defensive teammate that can handle the opposing Pokemon. Or an offensive teammate...
* Taunt is an option over U-turn in order to prevent opposing walls such as Chansey from recovering, as well as prevent utility Pokemon from setting hazards, using Defog, or other non-attacking moves such as from Klefki and Mantine.

Set Details
========

* 192 Speed along with a Jolly nature allows Crobat to outspeed threats to the team such as Greninja and Alakazam. I'd place more emphasis on outspeeding Greninja as a benchmark, since it's the only reason to use this much speed.
* 252 HP and 64 Defense maximizes Crobat's bulk while minimizing Stealth Rock damage so that it can more readily switch into hazards.
Use Mega Gallade as an example of bypassing screens, since Crobat cannot do anything offensively in the fairy matchup.

Usage Tips

* Switch in on opposing Pokemon looking to set hazards such as Hippowdon and Swampert so that it can immediately remove the hazards and then pivot out with U-turn.
* Take advantage of Crobat's Ground immunity to switch in on opposing Pokemon looking to gains KOs with powerful Ground-type attacks such as Excadrill and Landorus.

* However, do not click U-turn too quickly if its HP is getting low as it requires high HP to continuously remove hazards throughout a battle. "Do not click U-turn too quickly" is very weird phrasing when you're saying to be careful clicking it
* If using Taunt, be liberal in preventing opposing utility Pokemon and walls from effectively setting hazards or healing such as Chansey and Clefable. This bullet is phrased pretty oddly. Just say "Use Taunt liberally to shut down passive utility pokemon and walls such as Chansey and Clefable to keep them from setting hazards or recovering HP."
* Be wary of switching in on opposing Pokemon looking to use Thunder Wave or Will-O-Wisp as paralysis inhibits its ability to outspeed and quickly pivot, while burn minimizes the damage it can do to opponents while slowly reducing Crobat's HP.

Mega Venusaur also serves as a partner for managing Ground-type threats with it's offensive STAB and ground neutrality
* Alolan Muk has a very important Psychic immunity as well as great special defense; it is a great Pivot option for Crobat in order to trap and eliminate threatening foes such as Alolan Raichu and Latios with Pursuit. I'd fix up the phrasing in the second section of this sentence to be more clear.
* Toxapex is able to set Toxic Spikes onto the field, which pairs well with a Crobat utilizing Taunt, as it prevents opponents from effectively removing them. Additionally, Toxapex provides a very important Ice resistance and high Defense, freely switching in on Pokemon that threaten Crobat such as Weavile and Terrakion.
