As I lay deep in slumber, a booming vision swept my dreams away and caused me fixation on nothing but itself.
Pokemon Champions will be developed by ILCA, the creators of Pokemon Home, and Pokemon Home has a ton of stickers and backgrounds that can be used for your profile, which is insane because I don't even know how to look at someone else's profile. I think it would be much cooler to be able to use these on your Pokemon. Plus, Pokemon have a lot of data stored in them, like their moveset and gender and stuff, but there's actually a lot of really interesting data stored in each Pokemon that isn't showed often, and sometimes isn't shown at all.
Ribbons are a really cool way to show your loyalty to a certain Pokemon, but you can really only show off one at a time via selecting a ribbon to use as it's title. I think you should be able to display up to three ribbons or marks on your Pokemon's banner, they're just too cool to not be displayed.
Something else not many people know is that the exact game a Pokemon comes from is actually stored within it in a short hexidecimal code, but you can only see the region in the summary screen. Each Pokemon you have has the information stored within it to tell you if it's from games from Gen III - Gen IX, the virtual console games, Pokemon Go, it even knows if it's from Colosseum or XD, it knows everything. That should definitely be displayed, it's just such a cool tidbit.
I couldn't get the idea out of my head so I turned my idea into reality.
Each Pokemon has their basic information displayed; Level, gender, HP, and name, but I wanted more info to be viewable to everyone in battle to not only give those stickers and backgrounds a purpose, but also to make use of all the cool information stored in a Pokemon that's never shown to anyone who isn't very closely looking for it.
Now, each Pokemon displays their:
Pokeball - A simple icon in the top left corner displaying what Pokeball they were caught in
Ribbons - Up to three ribbons can be displayed near the top right
Title - The ribbon chosen for the Pokemon's title will also be displayed next to their name
Original Game - Near the bottom left, you'll see a faded icon that's connected to what game it's from.
And, their banner can be decorated using the backgrounds and stickers from Pokemon Home.
Here are a few examples I have crafted with my own two hands
A Dragonite from Ultra Moon with the Alola Champion title, the Tower Master ribbon, Galar Champion ribbon, and Alola Champion ribbon.
An Ogerpon from Scarlet with the Paldea Champion title, the Master Rank ribbon, and Paldea Champion ribbon.
A Shiny Mega-Evolved Mawile from XD: Gale of Darkness with the 100x Victorious title, the Champion ribbon, National ribbon, and Earth ribbon.
I kinda just got bored today and decided to make these banners, there's no way in hell ILCA would do something as cool as this because they'd be shot down by Gamefreak even if they tried
It does leave the banner a little cluttered and the important text could definitely use some bigger outlines for clarity, but what do you guys think?
i think they should let me direct pokemon champions
let me know if i should make more i am unemployed
