WrathoftheLeopard my main comment on this check is to avoid making unnecessary lateral / subjective changes. As GP, we want to preserve the writer's voice as much as possible, the GPers should aim to keep as much of the original writing as possible. Don't make changes that just "sound better" because what sounds better to you may not sound better to a writer, which removes their ability to make decisions. In future checks, focus on identifying "what is the error" and fixing it - if there isn't an error, usually it's fine to just defer to the writer's choices.
- I see why you added the mdashes to create an aside clause, but the original structure is perfectly fine. Since there's no error or confusion with the original prose, there's no reason to make that addition. As a writer, you can do that, but as a GPer, you want to check what's there and not what you personally would do.
- "for a way to chip down" and "as a way to deal chip damage to" are functionally the same and similarly would come down to writer preference.
- There isn't really a need to add "as an item" to the Choice Scarf line because that's pretty obvious. Just make sure to mark on the comma you added before since because that's good!
- "Set up on" is a very common phrase, so no need to change to "set up against" either.
- Set up easier -> set up more easily.
- I think just saying "it" in the Koraidon sentence is better than "the former" because former/latter implies a list/similar examples, when the only example is Koraidon.
