OMFG. damn i wish i lived closer to New York, i currently live like 3 hours away by driving and doubt my mom will drive there. Thats wish cresselia sounds amazing.

Anyone who gets a decent one, contact me or die. I mean... yeah, I mean that.
 
Some guys are complaining just because they live 3, 4 hours by car from NY, but imagine the frustration for people like me,
that live in a country that Nintendo does not even exist officially...

I can't imagine a Official Giveaway Pokémon Event here... (Brazil)
 
So...if Nintendo implemented a Mystery Gift option that lets you connect to the Internet to download loot, why are they still treating New York like the center of the universe?
 
Because they expect the non-competitors not too know what the Shinys are and if they didnt they would probably expect the actual Pokemon Cards (holofoil)..

They're shiny. Whoo. I really only like the idea of BP chimchar... the others seem... a bit boring. Cress with wish support sounds like it'll be a pain to go UP against, though.

Hello sir, I'm Canadian.

This would've been cool had it been over Wifi, but they're still holding events like this :( If the Darkrai event comes out in NY or something like that, I'm gonna somehow get my ass down there though. Shiny Cresselia with Wish sounds *Trip to NY worthy*, but my parents wouldn't see it that way, and there's only a 1 in 4 chance I'll get a Cressy, and even then the Nature and IVs are almost certain to be ass.

Anyway, on a more optimistic note, does this mean Cressy will become an even more solid wall than she is now? I mean, certainly Wish will be legal on Competitor, and it'll be a very viable option. A more reliable recovery move than Moonlight or Rest is very welcoming.

If it would be legal, would it only be aviable if you made it shiny? Same with the baton passers and other possible event Pokés.

I'm so lucky this is in NY. I live there. Shame they don't spread it out more. Ten bucks there's an uproar on the Nsider forums because they keep doing these close to NY.

I think we need a little group of Smogoners to go and get all four and then start cloning them for the masses. It would be bamazing if we could all score these from some friendly cloners here on the boards.

What I am currently wondering is if these BPs could be passed on to children. If these are newly implemented egg moves then we could breed to pass the BP AND for good stats and natures, then it wouldn't matter if the shiney ones are garbage. They could simply be solid starting points for breeding.

EDIT: BTW, I will trade good Legendaries and fully EV trained pokes for any of these. PM me if you are going and manage to score one you are willing to trade!

I highly doubt those are passable since I recall the NYPC moves of other pokémon to be unpassable.
 
This is like a kiss from a rose for everyone(*Including me, Misty, Omegadonut, ANINYmouse and a few others I don't remeber) who said if Cresselia had Wish, it would be monstrous and a true pain in the ass even furthur. Now it's just the 1-in-4 chance X the 3 or possibly 4 DS that I'll be bringing, me, my Brother, my cousin, and possibly my friend.

In other things, Baton Passing Starters are also pretty sweet; I might be in Manhatten for a while going around for Bold or Calm Piplup(Agility+BP) or +Spd Infernape.

I live in New York, so I'll try to get some good IVs, and if I get Turtwig I'll gladly offer it.
 
I will be getting one of these.

I may get more if I am allowed more than one. (or if I can trick them, and rent a few D/P and go get them, trade them over etc..)
