I think the damage calc should be built into PS like the teambuilder/ladder. The button could go here

and it could be displayed here

I just find it kind of inconvenient to have to open up new tabs and switch between them and I feel like this is a common enough tool to deserve a little button there. You could maybe even have it automatically import teams from your teambuilder to save more time.

I support the importing teams/sets feature! This is super useful for tournament prep, or metagame innovating enthusiasts like me.
edit: also helps the mobile users out (rip my boy ewin dcing from a game trying to calc)
