Dancing in the rain...

After the last (failed) attempt, this is my new team. It is a semi rain stall team.
I just started with the chansey/skarm as a defensive core. I thought about rain mainly to not lose to other weathers. So there come Politoed. Other pokemon choices will be explained later.

Politoed (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spd
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Scald
- Ice Beam
- Toxic
- Perish Song
Defensive politoed to eat some physical attacks. I like to have scald and ice beam for dragons/grass switching on me. Toxic is for stall teams. Perish song stop setuppers and baton pass (without Mr Mime). I really like him and he doesn't feel like dead weight (unlike ninetails). Th EVs are to get maximum physical bulk.

Toxicroak (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Dry Skin
EVs: 244 HP / 252 Atk / 12 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Substitute
- Bulk Up
- Drain Punch
- Sucker Punch
This guy heals so much with leftovers, dry skin and drain punch it's not even funny. Sucker punch is here for things fighting can't hit. Bulk up is a nice set up move and took it over sword dance because my team is really slow paced. Substitue fits in nicely. His only problem is his awful bulk, a misprediction and he just dies. I needed a physical damage dealer though. I thought about Gyarados and hurricane Dragonite. Don't if it would be better but I'm afraid of potential lighting weakness. He also feels a little slow, if someone could help me with EV so I know who I can outspeed.

Latias (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Dragon Pulse
- Thunder
- Recover
Calm mind latias. Dragon pulse as stab and recover for more reliable set up. I took thunder so I don't walled by specially defensive jellycent who would just use toxic, taunt and recover. The fact that I rely so much on rain bother me though. He's usually able to do his job. I don't know if it's just me misusing him but I feel he sometimes dies a bit too fast.

Donphan (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Rapid Spin
- Earthquake
- Ice Shard
- Head Smash
Given the slow pace of my team I needed a spinner. Donphan has good physical bulk and stab EQ is nothing to laugh at. Ice shard is for stopping some dragon/grass sweeps. Head smash is mostly filler, I could use stealth rocks but I would miss coverage. It is also a nice surprise for flying types trying to come on an EQ. Don't know it I should keep him defensive or turn him into offensive though.

Chansey (F) @ Eviolite
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spd
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Softboiled
- Stealth Rock
- Seismic Toss
- Thunder Wave
I love chansey, she is much harder to 2/1Hit KO with physical moves than Blissey. I prefer thunder wave over toxic for crippling the ennemy teams. It gives me much more chances to set up. Softboiled over wish because I don't run protect and it would be way too dangerous. Seismic toss for those pesky taunter. I put stealth rock on her because she can get them up very reliably.

Skarmory (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 232 Def / 24 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Roost
- Spikes
- Brave Bird
- Whirlwind
I just love this bird. He's great, he has spikes, durability and phazing. I don't know what I would do with him. The set is of course extremely common but he works well.

I have a little problem with jellycent/ferrothorn if latias is not here. Sub, protect, toxic, eq gliscor can be a problem but I usually outstall him.

Hmmm, really interesting. Pretty standard rain team.
I suggest though giving Latias Expert Belt. Being it already has a recovering move, and some Def, SpDef, and HP.

Head Smash on a study Donphan isn't quite a wise idea. Lets say you ran into a pokemon who brought your HP down to one, and you used Head Smash. You just lost your Donphan. Maybe Seed Bomb?

Those are the really only Pokemon that I see that could improve.

Hey there.

Calm Mind Reuniclus can walk all over this team, making it a major threat. Nothing on your team can take it out effectively without a large amount of luck. Choiced Latios can also cause you problems, as it can Trick Chansey on the switch and make it useless; it's the only thing on your team that can take Draco Meteors and is your only special wall, so this becomes a major problem. You can easily fix these two problems and more by running a specially defensive Jirachi over Latias. Jirachi can easily take on these two threats, and also counters things such as Celebi and Virizion that Latias did. This will stop your team from being too reliant on Chansey as well. Jirachi can also force a lot of switches, which works great in tandem with your entry hazards. It also provides paralysis support, which will help your Toxicroak sweep, as well as Wish support which will greatly aid your stall team.

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef
Sassy nature
-Thunder
-Iron Head
-Wish
-Protect

You could also try running Toxic over Thunder Wave on Chansey now since Jirachi can provide paralysis support quite well. Toxic can cripple opposing walls and give Chansey a big advantage in stall wars.

Solid team. Hope I helped, and good luck!
