Hello all! Welcome to Cinnabar Island Science Facility. Today, we are going to try a very special experiment; pokemon cloning! Now, I know we've tried this before *cough* Mewtwo *cough* but this time, we're going to take a completely different approach, that will hopefully produce a completely different result; clones that won't try to wipe out humanity! To make sure that we do indeed get these results, we are going to put the clones immediately into a pokemon battle. Ah, good. I see our volunteer trainers have arrived!

1v1 Doubles!!
5 Chills/3 Recoveries Total
2 Day DQ for both players & ref

Arena: Mewtwo was created by cloning Mew's cells. This battle will take place there. When your single pokemon enters the chemicals in the air will clone it, creating 2 of the same pokemon. They are two separate pokemon, they each get 3 actions, and must be targeted separately. The pokemon used will gain twice as much counters however. When ordering, players will have a <Pokemon> #1 and <Pokemon> #2. Before the battle starts, the player will tell the ref which one is the real one. In order to win, the real one must be knocked out, regardless of the state of the clone is in.

Switch = Derp

So here's the pokemon Fire Blast will volunteer;

Fire Blast, you issued the challenge. You send out, then Danman will issue orders. Fire Blast, when you choose which pokemon, PM me which will be the real one. Dan, when you issue actions, PM me which is the real one. Make sure you guys specify as either #1 or #2 in your PM and actions that have a single target.

There's only one choice for this battle. INCREDIBLY STUPID, ALL OUT OFFENSE!

Disable Effect Spore! I do not want him getting a boosted Facade!

Amanita #1: Helping Hand ~ Drain Punch (#1) ~ Helping Hand
Amanita #2: Focus Punch (#1) ~ Substitute (20) ~ Focus Punch (#1)

Btw rickheg, I did some calcs, so might as well share them with you.

Drain Punch: (8 + (3-3)*1.5) * 1.5 = 12 damage
Helping Hand Focus Punch: (30 + (3-3)*1.5) * 1.5 = 45 damage

100 - 45 - 12 - 45 = -2

Alright folks, we've cloned the pokemon, and are ready for battle. What's that? You're worried that battling the cloned pokemon could irritate them, making them want to destroy humanity? Don't worry, we included a failsafe for that, you'll see. Anyway, let's watch!

Okay, to be honest, I don't even know which ones are the originals, and which ones are the clones. Oops. We'll figure it out. Amanita 1 starts off the match by giving her double a Helping Hand, that'll help her partner very soon! The twin Tauroneos don't appreciate such shenanagins, and hit Amanita 1 with a pair of Giga Impacts for her trouble. Maybe they should have paid more attention to Amanita 2, however, who out of nowhere smacks Tauroneo 1 with a devastating Focus Punch. Yeowza, that looks like it broke the poor pup in half!

He does manage to recover though, and he once again teams up with his counter-part to deliver a pair of Facades to Amanita 1, who retaliates by Drain Punching Tauroneo 1. Amanita 2 is frightened by all the damage flying everywhere, so she whips up a Substitute to block any damage to herself.

You know, you can tell these pokemon are feeling the effects of being doubled, because they're doubling their actions from before. Amanita 1, who is in rough shape, gives Amanita 2 a Helping Hand, right before getting smacked by two Giga Impacts, knocking her clean out. What the- there was a Shroomish, folks! But she disappeared into a puff of smoke! Oh right, the failsafe! Should a clone, or its original, be defeated in a battle, it will turn into smoke like that. But it looks like Amanita 2 is still there, she's the original, the clone was knocked out! And what do you know, she's hitting Tauroneo 1 with another Focus Punch, which is enough to KO the pup. But was it the original, or the clone?!?!??!?!?!!? Tauroneo 2 puffs into smoke, it looks like the original was knocked out!
