Sorry about any mistakes I made, I'll try not to make any more but if I do, just tell me and I' ll change as fast as I can. Thank all of you for being so patient. :)

And with that over wit, let's get this started!(again)

Turtwig(*) - Seedstrike (M)
Nature: Brave
Health: 62
Energy: 86%
Boosts: +1 Attack
Other: None

We return to the battlefield, where Dreeko prepares to go out as offensive as she can on Seedstrike, beginning with another signal beam.(14D/6E) The beam hits its target, but Seedstrike just shakes it off and responds with an attack of its own, a seed bomb!(23D/4E) The creativity in this battle is unbelievable, isn't it?

Dreeko continues to rotate among his two attacking moves and release another aurora beam(13D/4E) at Seedstrike. The magical wave of ice strikes Seedstrike, but he dosn't seem to mind and tries another swords dance.(6E) Pokemon randomly breaking out into dance? Is this a battle or High School Musical? Seedstrike is more powerful then before, however, and things are looking bad enough as it is for Dreeko.

Dreeko knows this as well and fires one last aurora beam at Seedstrike before she faints.(14D/4E) Seedstrike has had enough of Dreeko and finishes off with an over dramatic Seed Bomb, knocking Dreeko straight out of the river and onto the cold, hard ground.(26D/4E) Dreeko faints, and, well does nothing else. She fainted, there's not much that she can do.(except use HM moves out of battle) Deadfox is in a tough situation, but can he turn things around with his final Pokemon(and lots of hax), Flicka?

Field Effects: pokemon
The river is flooded with rain.

Boosts: +2 Attack
Other: Overgrow in effect

Deadfox, please send out your final Pokemon, and your actions too, while your at it!

Alright Flicka, time to get out there!

Start off by letting off your best Heat Wave at the little grass turtle thing. If he manages to survive that then you should hit him with a Flame Burst! And if he's still kicking around then finish him off with another Heat Wave!

We may be in a tough spot in regards to winning this match but we can at least get you some experience.

Summary
Heat Wave > Flame Burst > Heat Wave

Brandon congratulated Seedstrike on the KO, then continued with his orders. "OK, I'm not sure if you can take a Heat Wave, but if you manage to live it, then use a Leech Seed to help out Shockstrike for the next few rounds. Make sure to wait until his attack is over so they don't get burnt up! If you're somehow still standing after that then just go for Crunch until you faint."

Summary:
Leech Seed -> Crunch -> Crunch

Well, another Pokemon may have fainted, but that certainly doesn't mean that the fight is over. It means that its nearly over, which is good because I'm starting to run out of commentary. Anyway, here's a recap on how things look so far.

Seedstrike goes first, throwing out a bunch of seeds at his opponent. But these aren't seed bombs or even bullet seeds, these are leech seeds.(10E) They quickly latch onto the waxy sides of Flicka, and slowly begin suck all of her energy from her. Apparently, Flicka doesn't like that and makes a heat wave, just barely finishing off Seedstrike.(22D/6E) Seedstrike is down, but the leech seeds strike at Flicka anyway, even if it is too late to heal the turtle.

Things are heating up(even though it might just be the heat wave...) so stay tuned! There will be more ASB coming up right after this!

And by "this" I mean Flamestrike sending out his final Pokemon and orders.

Brandon released Shockstrike, ready to take this match home. "Ok, let's see how his Fire-type likes rain by starting off with a Rain Dance! After that, hit him with a Hydro Pump, then another Hydro Pump for good measure!"

Summary:
Rain Dance -> Hydro Pump -> Hydro Pump

Man, you would think water and an electrified cloud wouldn't mix. Looks like we're going to have to go on the defensive a bit here Flicka. Start off by Minimizing to try and reduce the accuracy of those already iffy Hydro Pumps. Then I want you to fire off a Confuse Ray at the cloud and finally a Will-O-Wisp to burn him. If we can win this it will be through tactics rather than sheer force.

Summary
Minimize > Confuse Ray > Will-O-Wisp

Another competitor is sent out, so lets get this started!

VS
Monohm.png

Monohm - Shockstrike (M)
Nature: Modest

Other: None

Shockstrike wastes no time and begins to dance, making even more rain drop from the sky.(10E) The river is now really beginning to overflow, and Flicka is becoming steaming mad! However, he keeps his cool and minimizes himself, making himself a harder to hit target.(7E) The leech seeds from before continue to hurt him, but he doesn't seem to mind too much.

Shockstrike goes on the offensive now, shooting a hydro pump at Flicka. However, thanks to the minimize, the attack misses, whichis goos, cause it looks like Flicka is beginning to sweat from fear.(8E) If candles can sweat. Anyway, he continues to hinder his foe by using a confuse ray on Shockstrike, severely confusing him.(4E)

Shockstrike is confused and his opponent has shrunk, but he tries another hydro pump, and it hits its target, dealing quite a bit of damage!(29D/12E) It even douses Flicka's flame, which doesn't help the candle one bit. He still decides to stay on the defensive, though burning Shockstrike with a will-o-wisp. It misses, however, and doesn't do anything to Shockstrike.(6E)

Field effects: Rain is pourring on the field. This will last for 5 more rounds. The river is overflowing

Shockstrike has the advantage, but will the confusion and evasion be too much for him? Stay tuned to find out!

Ok Flicka, we can't take many of those watery blasts, so I want you to start off by Minimizing again. Then you should hit him with a Night Shade and finally another Confuse Ray just as his prior confusion wears off.

Summary
Minimize > Night Shade > Confuse Ray

Brandon sighed. This was going to take a while. "Ok Shockstrike, try to hit it with another Hydro Pump before he gets that second Minimize off, then go for a more accurate Thunderbolt! Finally, use an evasive Volt Change to get away from that Confuse Ray!"

Summary:
Hydro Pump -> Thunderbolt -> evasive Volt Change

On the subject of the evasive Volt Change, U-Turn/Volt Change and +2 speed moves (Agility, Rock Polish, etc) are usually allowed to be used evasively, ie they don't do damage or give a boost but in exchange give a guaranteed dodge. It's a stupid mechanic but you can ask Flora for confirmation.

Brandon gives tells Shockstrike to hydro pump his opponent, but somewhere along the way Shockstrike must have misheard and hits himself instead.(3D) Flicka makes sure that he'll continue to avoid attacks by minimizing himself some more.(7E)

Shockstrike tries to hit Flicka, this time with a more accurate thunderbolt, but Flicka is just to shrunken to hit!(6E) And people say that minimize is cheap. Anyway, Flicka finally attacks by using the night shade- I don't car if it's in the middle of the afternoon, it's suddenly night.(10D/6E) After this attack, the seeds still clinging on to Flicka drain a final bit of energy from their host before falling to the ground.

Shockstrike now goes on the defensive and volt-switches away from Flicka, not wanting to become confused, or have any other status condition, for that matter.(6E) Flicka tries to confuse his opponent anyway, but to no avail.(4E) Shockstrike was just too nimble for the attack to hit.

Field conditions: Rain is falling down from the sky. This will last for 4 more rounds. The river is overflowing.

Flicka is lower on health, but his evasion boosts have been helping him immensely. This battle could go either way, folks!

"This is frustrating. Ok Shockstrike, try your best to hit it with a Hydro Pump, then go for a Thunderbolt. Finish off with a chill. He'll probably confuse us but at this point trying to avoid it is futile."

Summary:
Hydro Pump -> Thunderbolt -> chill

Just found a tiny error Romeert, you added 3 health to Shockstrike when he hit himself in confusion rather than taking it away.

Anyway Flicka, I really don't know if we can do enough damage to win this match, but we have to try our best. Start off with a Will-O-Wisp to continue our theme of statusing the heck out of him, then go for some damage with a Night Shade and finally use the opportunity of Shockstrike chilling to fire off a Confuse Ray.

Summary
Will-O-Wisp > Night Shade > Confuse Ray

Both of the remaining Pokemon and their trainers are becoming a little bit anxious, so let's get right to it!

Shockstrike once again goes first, firing off a risky hydro pump at his opponent. But will it hit? Will it miss? Will I get on with it already? Well, it goes and hits Flicka, dealing once again a ton of pain to the poor candle.(29D/8E) Flicka is in quite a predicament now, but he tries to get back on track by will-o-wisping Shockstrike, or at least attempting to. Ironically, Flicka is missing his attacks instead of Shockstrike missing his!(6E)

Shockstrike sees that his opposition is weak, and throws a more accurate thunderbolt his way. The electric shock attacks its opponent and...

We'll be right back to Pokemon ASB battling, but first, do we have a deal for you! Everyone is given some berries to start off their battling adventure, but what do you do if you run out? Simply go to Acklow's Berries and Pies, where you can get all of your basic berries. Oranch ya glad about that? From healing to replenishing energy, we've got it all! And we know that your Pokemon will have a berry good time taking care of your berries with you. So, if you need more razzle in your dazzle, just come to Acklow's Berries and Pies!

We know return you to Pokemon ASB Battling.

The thunderbolt closes in on its target and... KOs Flicka!(16D/6E) Yes, it finally managed to hit Flicka and ends the match. It was a close battle, with it coming down to a one-on-one, candle-vs-electricdragonthing duel to the end.

As for me, I get 6 RCs.

Good job to both battlers! I once again apologize for any mistakes I may have made in the reffing of this battle.

GG deadfox (I'll have your thread up soon, promise!) and thanks for reffing Romeert. You'll get better with practice, don't worry!

GG Flamestrike, I really wasn't close to beating you at any point (just served to annoy you in the end with my minimizing :P)

Great job reffing too Romeert, only a mistake here and there (a few caused due to my noob-isms anyway), keep it up!
