Tankability
Hey there, first post, new team. My teams are all based around tanks and RstTlkers seem to do the best as them from previous experience. Ever since I started using RstTlk Tyranitar I have been a fan of bulky RstTlkers and tanks in general. Please rate won't you?

I had made a lead Gliscor set awhile ago and decided to use it myself. Ev's are adjusted so that I 2HKO Metagross on average and I have Quick Attack to cover when I don't and it's impossible for 252 Adamant Metagross to 2HKO me with Meteor Mash. It can set SR but if the opposing lead is not going to let me, he switches to attack mode. Quick Attack nabs priority while Earthquake gets STAB and deals with Meta. U-Turn is one of my favorite moves and allows him to switch out on pokes I know he can't beat or on something that one of my other pokes would deal with better. In conjunction with the rest of my team, if I were to switch up Toxic off of Vaporeon, it might be a good move to slap it on him. Toxic+U-Turn has been known to be an annoying combo and works well on bulky/fast leads that I know he can't handle.

The machine of machines. This guy can plow right through teams if they aren't ready for it. I need a good RstTlker and Metagross came to mind so I decided to try him out. RstTlking for obvious reasons: asborbs status and heals him up. I decided to forgo Meteor Mash for him since he gets better coverage with Earthquake and Ice Punch. Ice Punch deals with Mence since Metagross is really my main way of dealing with him. Earthquake deals with other Metagross and Magnezones that want to wall/kill him.

A new little twist of mine: no longer will I have to choose between a devistating hit from either Fire or Grass. I can easily 2HKO Swampert with HP-Grass and Overheat, having the better coverage, was chosen as the main form of offense. I love Rotom as much as Metagross and so he definitely deserves a spot on my team. WoW is for status support that is extremely important to every team. Discharge also gives him a chance to paralyze the opponent as they switch in and also takes care of Gyarados. Since this is a physical metagame I always take priority in finding Def bulky tanks first and two is going to help a lot. I invested enough into Discharge to OHKO Bulky Gyarados, just so that people know.

I have never used Snorlax before, so I might as well take a stab at him. Kind of an offensive set, but he does everything he needs to with it. I always seem to lack a phazer, so I made sure to give him Whirlwind so I can take care of Sub pokes that want to set up. Earthquake was iffy at first but I decided to use it > Superpower since I don't have to switch out afterwards and such. Crunch makes sure that I can take care of Latias and not be walled by Gengar as well as punches holes in the opponent's defenses. Body Slam gives my team some extra status support as well as a decent STAB. The main reason I decided to use him is because a lot of my teams are Heatran weak since I'm not really concerned with him, so Snorlax solves that problem. I am considering turning him into a RstTlker and adjust the Ev's since he does better with recovery and I am no longer afraid of a rogue Rotom staying in to Burn him before I take it down with Crunch.

The only true standard thing about this team. I am a bigger fan of Toxic/Wish than Wish/Protect since it can Toxic stall for my team. I noticed immediately that MixApe would give me a little bit of trouble, so I needed a quick fix to take care of him. Also provides Wish support for my Rotom and Snorlax. Surf takes care of MixApe with ease. The strange thing about this set is the last move: Hidden Power [Fire]. Now I know most of you think this is silly and he should be running Hidden Power [Electric] for Gyarados or Ice Beam for Mence. However since my other pokes already take care of those guys, I didn't need to take them down. I thought a lot about it and realized how many times bulky Scizors switch into Vaporeon since it usually comes in and Wishes which gives the opponent a free switch. Surf also cannot 2HKO a 252 Hp Scizor, and since my one counter doesn't have a form of healing outside of Vaporeon, I don't want to put him in jeopordy. HP-Fire stops Scizor from being able to set up on him prediction has been on my side. If I switch WW off Snorlax I will be running Roar so I can work with SR a bit and it also prevents Suicune from setting up on Vappy.

A destroyer of unprepared teams and eats everything in its path. I had the idea of using a Sub/Punch Gengar when I realized how much better Magmortar can do it. Though he is SR weak, I don't plan on switching him in and out a lot. Wish also helps with with him and is one of the reasons I chose Vappy: Water moves become taboo when the opponent sees a Vappy and so I gain a little bit of mental protection. Focus Punch is for obvious reasons and the main reason for using a Sub set and not LO. STAB Flamethrower just plain hurts and Thunderbolt wastes a lot. I also ran enough speed to outrun Mamoswine, Dragonite, and most importantly Gyarados. He is slightly iffy at this point as I wanted a Sub mixsweeper that is focused on Sp.A > Att.
