I have a hot take incoming but for now people saying 'hes inactive so scum'!' are likely scum themselves. Scum ALWAYS go for inactive lynches first because theres almost 0 accountability and info from the flip of an inactive making them incredibly easy to chain up, and in this game itself the LESS you post the less likely mafia is to be able to discern your role. Town has just as much, if not more reasons to NOT post then mafia this game.
That is absolutely not true you just don't leave signals in your posts or leave false signals its not that complicated and is not an excuse to be not posting.

But since this is a psychological game, it would seem that the mafia's main job is to get names and roles, since that is what the Death Note is for. There is also the equivalent of that in Town in Vigilante, therefore, he might be the first target aimed for.
Now, the best way for communicating betweeen town is hinting at their roles via vague posts. I am seeing things like mafia jumping the wagon, and townie baits.
But those are just my two cents.
