if merlin is hard claiming that 2 are scum and 2 are town, then it's in our best interests to not risk the myslynch. I'm still leaning towards aura/hitmonleet but i'm willing to switch onto hitmonleet atm. I'd wait until the other 3 claim though to come to a decision. It's much better for us the faster we figure out how to remove the 2 mafia members as opposed to hammering/waiting
 
Sure. Well looking past this now, what is our plan to remove the remaining scum between asek/moody/hitmonleet? And more importantly, how are we removing light? Since we need light gone asap so merlin's death's second chance is minimized.
 
Our ideal situation would be to lynch mafia + vig kill the other mafia at night 1 to minimize the downtime for us. That isn't too reasonable however unless mafia really is aura + hitmonleet. I'd expect both mafia to be dead by the end of day 2 however. We do want BG to protect disguise. We mostly want mafia gone as quickly as possible so mafia has a much harder time getting their 2 endgame guesses right.
 
Im certain moodycloud is one of the scum and im going to look at all interactions (or lack of interaction) between him and the rest of this game as a parting gift to the town. Doubt remains in the back of my mind for hitmonleet but I would lynch them over

#164 pancake posts a rather mediocre reads list but this is includes moodycloud being listed as 'neutral lean scum' (whatever the fuck that means) due to lack of posting. This is interestingly the kind of arms reach style of posting I use when on a scum team: constantly keep ur teammates as a 'scum' but only slightly so, never the 'top' read, but if you get lynched theres a good balance of interaction and a lack of it to keep people from instantly seeing you as partners. Interesting post here.

#173 auraguardian agrees with pancake on the aura read for whatever reason. its not stated. useless to the task at hand

#185 hitmonleet says 'not enough' to gain any kind of read on moody, which isn't really interesting and something I would expect a newer player on a scum team to say on a teammate at that point

#197 Moody posts and tries to direct where power roles should go. Need I say more on why this guy is scum? He calls josh, myself and knights question marks. I wouldnt be suprised if this post was covering ass for later on, with knights being the final scum (this would make a fair bit of sense), however knights subbing out kinda throws a wrench in this. Inactive townies are a lot quicker to sub out then inactive scum as a rule.

#206 moody defends hitmonleet by saying he'll vote blank slate if he doesnt explain his vote on him. THEYRE BUDDYING RIGHT IN FRONT OF US!

#212-213 votes back at pancake for having poor justifcation for a vote when pancake did explictly say earlier they thought moody was scum, and its pretty easy to discern further posting had convinced them of the fact. More interesitng is moody STILL suggesting pr's target him to 'clean' him. Seriously this guy was scum signalling so hard in this passage of play I don't know how nobody had gotten on this shit yet.

#227-228 Gronk asks moody for why pancakes vote was poor reasoning when it wasnt and pancake just parrots it. Bleh.

#232 king_ subbing in for knights says moody feels very off to him. pattern here between him and knights

I am however concerned that twin did NOT list moody as one of his preffered lynches, and instead ASKS AURA GUARDIAN FOR A FUCKING CLAIM? Helloooo? This is so bad what the hell, how did nobody call this post out? Moody has hard stuff that makes him likely scum but instead of following him up as the preffered lynch twin lists blank slate who is so obviously noob town it fucking hurts. My gut and logic from 239 however tells me that thetwinmasters is the final member of the mafia along with hitmonleet (SMALL POSSIBILITY AURA GUARDIAN!!!) and moodycloud. Gronkasaurus Rex - Pretty much the same thing as mithril, I particularly like how he responds to every conflict going on instead of just the main one, and how he is passive-agressively encouraging others to post

Texas Cloverleaf - I think he could be misguided by voting josh but in general I like his references to the math in the OP (which means he read the rules, something clearly a bunch of you guys didn't do), but lately his posts have been getting very based on multi-quote, a strategy that I don't like, and passively fine with whatever is happening also. Town lean at beginning, starting to move down but not too much.
Haruno - SLIGHT town lean. I like the questions that he asks on page two but he doesn't give his thoughts on them and he also thought claiming was a good idea (barf)
KnightsOfCydonia - I like how he is pushing people to RQS but at the same time I don't like how he is waiting for others to RQS so um... slight town read lol

He passively is just fine with whatever is happening. also his arguments are generally trash. Hitmonleet - I'm confused???? also his posts are pretty barren of info, few, and all concentrated on the first page where like nothing had happened.

Josh / Aura Guardian - I'm grouping you two together because one of you is scum and one of you is town, and I find the probability of you both being town due to the current circumstances rather unlikely. currently I'm leaning AG is the scum just because of his last post saying "I'm a bit rusty" as a defense, which is a really weak defense and it really doesn't make a point for yourself. I can see him being defensive now though, if his logic was better it would be more neutral. On the other hand didn't josh think claiming was a good idea? I'm too lazy to look. Still lean AG.

Hey, im.finally doing something productive. Not holding a vendetta.or anything against anyone.
The reaction to my post when I mentioned that it was a random vote. I dont see anything against random.voting. Jumping like that had me suspicious.
I dont like this claiming idea since it is a 50-50 gamble, turning into a loss for town if town role was claimed. Why 50-50 at first? Because both Vigilante and Death Note need a name and a tie to a role to kill at night, and assumingg the claim (wether vague or blatant) is Mafia or Town, then it swings to either favor.
Looking at Haruno, AG, Hitmonleet-Moody rn.

I do want this flip but I still feel as though moodycloud is a better lynch than Aura Guardian. I highly suggest we get on him instead, and if you guys don't listen, whatever, that's fine, we'll play it on whether or not Aura is scum, this is a good flip to have anyway.

Can I please explain my reads post?

basically what I was trying to go for was a spectrum of town.........scum reads wise. some people interpreted this as me clearing mithril for no reason (which was actually a really bad assumption on your part) and the fact that I put "neutral lean scum" as my scum read category (which was bad category judgement on my part). So yeah can we please stop judging me based on the format of my reads post, feel free to judge me based on the content.

Aura guardian/blank slate/texas have been hurting town from my PoV so they remain highly suspicious, but MAYBE aura guardian has just screwed up and isn't actually scum. Pancake is probably just mistaken town at this point. Something feels very fishy in what asek and josh have been saying however, so I'll keep my vote on Auraguardian as I'm very interested in how he will flip.
 
Don't underestimate the power of knowledge, guys. All the mafia needs to kill is your role. Never let it become too obvious. Trying to simply oust mafia through claiming is a bit of a dangerous move, but possibly benefitial in the long run. Essentially, we're going to have to reveal our roles subtly and carefully.

Completely unrelated to the above statement, whoever is the Identity Exchanger should not reveal their role under any circumstances. You'll probablu be the only protective role left.

Finally, acidphoenix you've been oddly quiet d1.
