The easiest way to get someone to voice you is just to bug someone on IRC who has leaders+ on the server. You cannot be voiced if you are not actually on the server.

i would think posting in this thread does next to nothing

Post here with the username you'd like to be recognized with on the server, that way we can have a record with why we have an unknown username with voice on the server.
