[SET COMMENTS]
  • Arceus-Ground covers a wide variety of foes and utility roles, thanks to its solid mixed bulk and wide movepool. Its typing hits some of the most relevant threats in the metagame super effectively while also giving it few weaknesses and relevant resistances, allowing it to answer a variety of foes such as Primal Groudon, Necrozma-DM, Eternatus, and Yveltal and turning it into a versatile pick for a wide variety of team structures.
  • Toxic allows Arceus-Ground to hinder switch-ins immune to Judgment like Ho-Oh, Giratina-O, Mega Salamence, and Yveltal; Ice Beam alternatively complements Judgment to hit all previously mentioned foes but Ho-Oh, as well as Zygarde, super effectively. Taunt prevents entry hazards from Primal Groudon, Necrozma-DM, and Ferrothorn, Defog from Ho-Oh and Giratina-O, disruptive moves such as Glare, Toxic, and Will-O-Wisp from Zygarde, Yveltal, and Giratina-O, and setup and recovery moves from Zygarde, Primal Groudon, and Necrozma-DM, rendering them easier to beat.
  • Stealth Rock provides general utility to support the rest of Arceus-Ground's team, helping wallbreaking allies such as Primal Groudon and Zacian-C to net more OHKOs as they force switches.
  • The given EV spread avoids a 2HKO from Life Orb Marshadow's Low Kick after Stealth Rock and a 2HKO from Zacian-C's Play Rough after Intrepid Sword and Stealth Rock. The Speed investment ensures Arceus-Ground outspeeds fully invested Primal Groudon, and the remaining EVs are used on Special Attack to raise the odds to OHKO Zacian-C and Zekrom after Stealth Rock with Judgment.
  • Arceus-Ground is a Pokemon that doesn't Terastallize often, as its allies usually make better use of the mechanic. Tera Poison renders it unable to check Ground-types such as Primal Groudon, opposing Arceus-Ground, and Zygarde and makes it weaker to Stealth Rock. However, Tera Poison raises the accuracy of Toxic, increases Arceus-Ground's longevity by making it immune to Toxic itself from foes such as Giratina-O, Ho-Oh, and Yveltal, enables it to wall further foes such as Marshadow and Eternatus, and lets it absorb Eternatus's Toxic Spikes, supporting its team with entry hazard control.
  • Arceus-Ground's special bulk can be too lacking at times to handle foes such as Mega Mewtwo Y and Lunala; as such, it appreciates partners to make a defensive core with, such as Ho-Oh, Necrozma-DM, and Yveltal. Water-types such as Primal Kyogre, Palkia-O, and Arceus-Water can easily break past Arceus-Ground; therefore, it appreciates Pokemon on its side like Primal Groudon, Eternatus, and Ferrothorn to handle them.
  • Wallbreakers that can break past foes Arceus-Ground can't do much against on its own are valuable to ease progress. For example, Zacian-C threatens Giratina-O and Mega Mewtwo Y for Arceus-Ground sets without Toxic, Primal Kyogre covers Ho-Oh and Zygarde for variants without both Ice Beam and Toxic, and Marshadow can make progress against Ho-Oh, Giratina-O, and Primal Groudon independently of Arceus-Ground's set, especially with Stealth Rock support from Arceus-Ground to wear down the other team.

  • Arceus-Ground covers a wide variety of foes and utility roles thanks to its solid mixed bulk, wide movepool, and a typing that hits super effectively some of the most relevant threats in the metagame, while also giving it few weaknesses and relevant resistances, allowing it to answer a variety of foes such as Primal Groudon, Zekrom, Necrozma-DM, Eternatus, and Yveltal, and Marshadow, turning it into a versatile pick for a wide variety of team structures.
  • Judgment acts as a solid STAB move that threatens Zekrom and Primal Groudon. It also forces out Pokemon immune to Toxic such as Necrozma-DM, Zacian-C and Eternatus.
  • Toxic allows Arceus-Ground to cripple switch-ins immune to Judgment like Ho-Oh, Giratina-O, Mega Salamence and Yveltal.
  • Ice Beam alternatively complements Judgment to hit all of the above plus Zygarde, but except Ho-Oh, super effectively. Joint this bullet point with the one above and remove “all of the above plus” to something that makes more sense
  • Taunt provides the option to prevent entry hazards from Primal Groudon, Necrozma-DM and Ferrothorn, prevent hazard control Defog from foes such as Ho-Oh and Giratina-O, prevent crippling moves such as Glare, Toxic and Will-O-Wisp from Zygarde, Yveltal and Giratina-O, and limit setup and recovery moves from Zygarde, Primal Groudon and Necrozma-DM, rendering them easier to beat.
  • Arceus-Ground can act as a viable hazard control option with Defog as it has a positive matchup against hazard setters such as Necrozma-DM, Primal Groudon and Eternatus. Remove this bullet point or mention it as an “other option”
  • Stealth Rock provides general utility to support the rest of its team, notably giving odds for Arceus-Ground to OHKO foes such as Zacian-C and Zekrom with Judgment mid- or late-game.
  • The given EV spread avoids a 2HKO from Life Orb Marshadow's Low Kick after Stealth Rock, and a 2HKO from Zacian-C's Play Rough after Intrepid Sword and Stealth Rock, EVs used on Speed ensure Arceus-Ground to outspeed fully invested Primal Groudon, and the EVs used on Special Attack raise odds to OHKO Zacian-C and Zekrom after Stealth Rock with Judgment.
  • Tera Ground ensures a OHKO on foes such as Zacian-C and Zekrom with Judgment, while also damaging further Necrozma-DM, Eternatus and Primal Groudon with it. move this to the later part about tera
  • Tera Poison raises the consistency of its own Toxic landing, raises the longevity of Arceus-Ground by becoming immune to Toxic itself from foes such as Giratina-O, Ho-Oh and Yveltal, enables it to wall further foes such as Marshadow and Zacian-C, and lets it absorb Eternatus's Toxic Spikes, supporting its team on hazard control. move this to the later part about tera too
  • Teams not in need of Arceus-Ground as a Stealth Rock setter or hazard control option can afford both Ice Beam and Toxic on the same set. As Judgment is always expected to be in Arceus-Ground's moveset, this is already mentioned in the set it's often safe early-game to either set Stealth Rock or cripple a foe with Toxic as it forces a switch, especially as foes immune to it are weak to Judgment.
  • As its held item can't be removed, Arceus-Ground is often a good switch-in against foes with Knock Off such as Necrozma-DM and Yveltal. mentioning yveltal is a bit shaky since life orb yveltal 2hkos it anyways and arceus doesn’t appreciate toxic from defensive yveltal, which also don’t run knock anyways. up to u if you wanna keep it or not.
  • Arceus-Ground is a Pokemon that doesn't Terastallize often, as its allies usually make better use of the mechanic, Terastallizing into the Poison-type renders it unable to check Ground-types such as Primal Groudon, opposing Arceus-Ground and Zygarde, plus Ultra Necrozma, and becomes weaker to Stealth Rock. Arceus ground isn’t meant to check unec anyways
  • Arceus-Ground's special bulk can be lacking at times to handle foes such as Mega Mewtwo Y, Eternatus and Lunala, as such it appreciates partners to make a defensive core with, such as Ho-Oh, Necrozma-DM, and Yveltal.
  • Water-types such as Primal Kyogre, Palkia-O and Arceus-Water can easily break past Arceus-Ground, therefore it appreciates Pokemon on its side including Primal Groudon, Eternatus, and Ferrothorn to handle them.
  • Wallbreakers that can break past foes Arceus-Ground can't do much against on its own, depending on its own moveset, are valuable to ease progress made in the match. For example, Zacian-C threatens Giratina-O and Mega Mewtwo Y for Arceus-Ground sets without Toxic, Primal Kyogre covers Primal Groudon, Ho-Oh and Zygarde for variants without both Ice Beam and Toxic, and Marshadow can make progress against Ho-Oh, Giratina-O, and Primal Groudon as a general option independently of Arceus-Ground's set, especially with Stealth Rock support from Arceus-Ground to wear down the other team.

  • Judgment acts as a solid STAB move that threatens Zekrom and Primal Groudon. It also forces out Pokemon immune to Toxic such as Necrozma-DM, Zacian-C and Eternatus. no need to explain simple stabs it's p clear ground move is hitting steels or poisons
  • Toxic allows Arceus-Ground to cripple switch-ins immune to Judgment like Ho-Oh, Giratina-O, Mega Salamence and Yveltal, Ice Beam alternatively complements Judgment to hit all previously mentioned foes plus Zygarde, but except Ho-Oh, super effectively. • Stealth Rock provides general utility to support the rest of its team, notably giving odds for Arceus-Ground to OHKO foes such as Zacian-C and Zekrom with Judgment mid- or late-game. this is very vague, like, if u can't even ohko w rocks what's the point of rocks. can just say it supports teammates like (eg) pdon to break past foes like yvel easier or smth
  • The given EV spread avoids a 2HKO from Life Orb Marshadow's Low Kick after Stealth Rock, and a 2HKO from Zacian-C's Play Rough after Intrepid Sword and Stealth Rock, EVs used on Speed ensure Arceus-Ground to outspeed fully invested Primal Groudon, and the remaining EVs are used on Special Attack raise odds to OHKO Zacian-C and Zekrom after Stealth Rock with Judgment.

Tera Poison raises the consistency of its own Toxic landing, raises the longevity of Arceus-Ground by becoming immune to Toxic itself from foes such as Giratina-O, Ho-Oh and Yveltal, enables it to wall further foes such as Marshadow and Zacian-C not too sure about this one cuz it can just use bblade / tera ground; probs use smth else here, and lets it absorb Eternatus's Toxic Spikes, supporting its team on hazard control.
  • Teams not in need of Arceus-Ground as a Stealth Rock setter can afford both Ice Beam and Toxic on the same set. It's often safe early-game to either set Stealth Rock or cripple a foe with Toxic as it forces a switch, especially as foes immune to it are weak to Judgment. fluff, u explained moves already. can maybe merge with the toxic (?) part or smth cuz double slash but doesn't deserve a whole point
  • As its held item can't be removed, Arceus-Ground is often a good switch-in against foes with Knock Off such as Necrozma-DM. how does it help teams. i mean like ofc a bulky ground is switching into a steel so I'm not too sure about this one too, seems kinda dex info-y cuz everyone knows what plates do. can remove this too maybe or elaborate with more examples
  • Arceus-Ground's special bulk can be lacking at times to handle foes such as Mega Mewtwo Y, and Lunala, as such it appreciates partners to make a defensive core with, such as Ho-Oh, Necrozma-DM, and Yveltal; (ASC, merge) Water-types such as Primal Kyogre, Palkia-O and Arceus-Water can easily break past Arceus-Ground, therefore it appreciates Pokemon on its side including Primal Groudon, Eternatus, and Ferrothorn to handle them.
