PU Delibird Mini

birb -mz

[OVERVIEW]

Delibird is an atrocious Pokemon, being outclassed by virtually every other lead in the game due to its abysmal Speed and defenses, meaning it will rarely ever be able to set up more than one layer of Spikes. Even though it's able to run Rapid Spin in an attempt to win the hazard game, Froslass and Qwilfish are more effective at keeping entry hazards off the field due to their superior Speed and access to Taunt; the former's ability to spinblock and the latter's defensive utility in Intimidate contribute to making them far more reliable options.

[SET]
name: Lead
move 1: Spikes
move 2: Rapid Spin
move 3: Icy Wind
move 4: Destiny Bond
item: Focus Sash
ability: Vital Spirit
nature: Timid
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]

In theory, Spikes and Rapid Spin let Delibird function as a suicide lead, keeping on top of opposing Stealth Rock users such as Mesprit and Clefairy by removing their entry hazards. However, Froslass can more reliably prevent the opposing team from setting up entry hazards with a fast Taunt, on top of being able to spinblock.

In theory, Rapid Spin lets Delibird keep on top of opposing leads such as Mesprit and Clefairy by removing their entry hazards off the field. (Specify that its a suicide lead)However, Froslass can more reliably prevent the opposing team from setting up entry hazards with a fast Taunt, on top of being able to spinblock.

In theory, Spikes and Rapid Spin let Delibird function as a suicide lead, keeping on top of opposing leads say stealth rock users instead pls, i hate perpetuating the idea that things like mesprit and clefairy are noticeably dedicated leads such as Mesprit and Clefairy by removing their entry hazards off the field. However, Froslass can more reliably prevent the opposing team from setting up entry hazards with a fast Taunt, on top of being able to spinblock.
