I think my Pokemon cards might be more durable than this thing lol

[SET]
Glass Cannon (Deoxys) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
Tera Type: Normal / Psychic / Stellar
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe or 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Psycho Boost
- Low Kick
- Knock Off
- Extreme Speed

[SET COMMENTS]

* Deoxys-A's out of this world offensive stats and good coverage give it a niche over Focus Sash Calyrex-S as a glass cannon.

* **Psycho Boost**: Even with minimal investment, Psycho Boost deals massive damage to anything that doesn't resist it. It's also Deoxys-A's way of OHKOing Koraidon and 2HKOing Dondozo.

* **Low Kick**: Since Deoxys-A has such a short lifespan, Low Kick's lack of offensive drops is preferred over Superpower. Especially since the two biggest targets, Ting-Lu and Arceus, take just as much damage from Low Kick anyways.

* **Knock Off**: Knock Off does a brilliant job of letting Deoxys-A revenge kill common Choice Scarf foes like Miraidon, in addition to being good coverage against Calyrex-S and Lunala.

* **Extreme Speed**: Despite Deoxys-A's incredible Speed, Extreme Speed is still useful for picking off weakened priority users like Arceus and Dragonite.

* **Using Pressure For Speed Scouting**: While Pressure may seem laughable on such a frail glass cannon, it can be very useful in lead situations to determine if certain Pokemon are carrying a Choice Scarf or not. For example, if Miraidon or Koraidon's abilities activate before Deoxys-A's Pressure, this means that they are carrying a Choice Scarf! Just note that this tactic does not work against Calyrex formes, as their abilities always activate first.

* **Physically Offensive versus Specially Offensive EV Spreads**: Focusing on physical offense gets the most out of Deoxys-A after Psycho Boost has powered it down, but focusing on special offense turns Deoxys-A into more of a hit and run wall-breaker, especially when paired with Tera Psychic.

Other Options
========

* **Rock Slide**: While not very powerful, this is Deoxys-A's best shot of burying Ho-Oh.

* **Stealth Rock**: Deoxys-A's suicide lead like nature makes Stealth Rock a natural seeming fit, but it can be difficult to justify over better coverage or ability to revenge kill with Extreme Speed.

* **Expanding Force**: This deals tremendous damage if pairing Deoxys-A with Indeedee-M, though losing out on coverage can still be an issue since Psycho Boost shouldn't be replaced.

* **Superpower**: Superpower hits lighter foes such as Chi-Yu much harder than Low Kick, and can fit especially well on more specially offensive variants of Deoxys-A.

Alternate EV Spreads
========

* **116 Atk / 252 SpA / 140 Spe with Rash**: While giving up the match-up against Jolly Chien-Pao and Timid Flutter Mane is a shame, the extra Special Attack with Rash lets Deoxys-A OHKO physically defensive Landorus-T with Tera Psychic Psycho Boost, while still at least outspeeding Adamant Chien-Pao.

Tera Types
======

* **Tera Dependency - Low**: Deoxys-A will usually only Terastallize if a sweep is in sight or to give itself a useful immunity. Otherwise, Deoxys-A usually doesn't survive long enough to make amazing use of Terastallization.

* **Normal**: Tera Normal fits physically offensive Deoxys-A the best, boosting Extreme Speed for picking off weakened threats and punishing Choice locked Calyrex-S and Flutter Mane.

* **Psychic**: If using specially offensive Deoxys-A, Tera Psychic tears through new foes like Flutter Mane and offensive Miriadon.

* **Stellar**: Since Deoxys-A is snuffed out so fast, Tera Stellar's one-time boost drawback isn't as much of a concern. This is especially true for specially offensive sets that aren't as focused on potential sweeps with Extreme Speed.

* **Ghost**: Tera Ghost stops Arceus and Dragonite from sniping Deoxys-A with Extreme Speed.

* **Fairy**: Tera Fairy is specifically used to to punish Koraidon that attempt to set up by Terastallizing and using Scale Shot.

Sorry this took so long! I at least had to make sure this was ready before ZA came out tonight LOL.

So Deoxys-A didn't do too hot last season, but its certainly still viable. I should note the one high ranked team it was on using a Rash set since Psycho Boost gets a nice power boost from it. I wasn't sure if I should slash it in or not, but I was at least already aware of that spread back in September, so right now its just mentioned.

Only thing I got is maybe worth shouting superpower for a stronger smack against lighter targets or if using more spa oriented sets. Otherwise this looks great! Approved

* **Using Pressure For for (consistency w/ "versus" as a preposition in a title) Speed Scouting**: While Pressure may seem laughable on such a frail glass cannon, it can be very useful in lead situations to determine if certain Pokemon are carrying a Choice Scarf or not. For example, if Miraidon or and Koraidon's abilities activate before Deoxys-A's Pressure does, this means that they are carrying a Choice Scarf! Just note that this tactic does not work against the Calyrex formes, as their abilities always activate first.

* **Physically Offensive versus Specially Offensive EV Spreads - Physical Offense versus Special Offense**: (The way the original title was worded was a bit grammatically unbalanced, so I reworded it a bit) Focusing on physical offense gets the most out of Deoxys-A after Psycho Boost has powered it down, but focusing on special offense turns Deoxys-A into more of a hit and run wall-breaker hit-and-run wallbreaker, especially when paired with Tera Psychic.

* **Psychic**: If you're using specially offensive Deoxys-A, Tera Psychic Psycho Boost (the Tera type alone doesn't do anything to opposing Pokemon, so I put down the move I'm assuming you're referring to) tears through new foes like Flutter Mane and offensive Miriadon.

* **Stellar**: Since Deoxys-A is snuffed out so fast, Tera Stellar's one-time boost drawback isn't as much of a concern. (The way the sentence is written out highlights the consequence of using Tera Stellar already.) This is especially true for specially offensive sets that aren't as focused on potential sweeps with Extreme Speed.
