Destiny Theory

I was looking up Descartes on Wikipedia, he had an interesting method of deduction but the thing is I believe that you can never rule something out, because we know practically nothing about why we are here so how can we decide what truly exists and what doesn't?

To answer of behalf of Descartes, we can decide what truly exists and what doesn't by a methodological scepticism whereby, for the purposes of achieving certainty, we doubt everything that could be false, find what must be true, and then construct a system of indubitible knowledge through a system of deductive links from this bedrock. This foundation for Descartes is, of course, the cogito.
