Did anyone else feel that earthquake?

As you may or may not know, there was recently an earthquake in the Bay Area of California. Details can be found here:

My house was shaken by it, but, since it was kinda small, I enjoyed it. My phone lines where busy to the point where I couldn't connect for a couple minutes. Oh, and my cat was freaking out about it. He was running around the house in a panic.

So, what was it like for you, if you felt it at all?

This reminds me of a thread from PokeRealm where there was a small EQ like that in San Franciscio or something and people from Michigan and New York were replying saying they felt it...lol

But we're getting way off topic. PM me if you want to chat or talk about joining the team.

@Justin: I can assure you I felt it. o-o But did you?

the last and only earthquake i have ever felt was in the beginning of 6th grade, so 6ish years ago. it was a 7.3 iirc and i was walking to class from the bathroom. i thought it was fucking awesome and i could see the waves in the ground as i clung to a small tree in the middle of the hall (outdoor campus). looking back i wasn't really in the safest place, in fact it was probably the worst place i could have been with the eaves hanging near me but it was awesome and i still remember it vividly to this day. my teacher was crying when i got back too, she said that she thought i might have gotten hurt.

the only earthquake i ever felt in my life was a very small one! we dont get many earthquakes here, and those we DO get are weak. I woke up in the middle of the night and my bed and my desk were shaking, it was cool but i was like O_o and fell to sleep again. I only realized what had happened on the next day when i saw it on the news.

my friend is studying in california for this term, and her facebook status is currently "fucking earthquake tremors" so i think she may have felt it too!

Yeah, I was on my laptop (as usual) when my chair and table started shaking. I thought my dad was just shaking my chair from behind, bu when it didn't stop, I was a little surprised. I've never felt any kind of earthquake before, it was pretty cool.

well, i didn't feel that EQ. then again, i live in the netherlands, last time we had an earthquake above 3.0 was, lemme think, *thinks himself into oblivion* srry, can't remeber

i remember this one time when i was in middle school there was a lil miniearthquake in northwest part of IL and i was in lunch the lights went off and the meat fell off the delicart.

must've been really weak because I never felt anything here in porto

felt it in san francisco by the bay but it might as well have been somebody playing music really loudly because it bearly shook the house.

my house is right on the delta, and it felt like it was tetering back and forth, and the earthquake seemed to last for a long time. ive never felt one before that though, so i dont know what a 'normal earthquake' length is, but it was about 10 seconds. it was pretty weak where i was

In Australia we do not get Earthquake's, save the one that struck Woolongong a few years ago. One of my mother's friends died in that one.

In the walnut creek area, it was a small but long one. Mom tried to get me to hide under a table hehe
