Pet Mod DLCmons v3: returns (Slate 4: New Fakemon with niches!)

(approved by Yoshiblaze)

Welcome to DLCmons! This Pet Mods aims at creating DLCs for Pokemon games, like how the Expansion Pass worked for Galar. This will include adding existing Pokemon that are not in the chosen regional Pokedex, adding new ones, creating regional formes, items, moves... This will be a pretty diverse project!

:urshifu: This Pet Mod aims at creating DLCs for older games, a bit like how it happened for SS and SV. This will include adding existing Pokemon that are not in the regional Pokedex, adding new ones, creating regional formes, items, moves... This will be a pretty diverse project!

:calyrex: For Pokemon slates, they will be separated in two parts. The first will have users submit concepts, be it competitive-centered ones or flavour-centered ones (An example of a competitive one would be "Rock-resistant Defogger", whereas a flavour one could be "A predatory Pokemon leaving on the Akala region who eats Oricorios, and is the reason why Sensu Oricorios are Ghost-types"). After people have voted for their favorite concepts, the second part will begin, where people can submit Pokemon that fit any of the concepts.

:ogerpon: Moves and items will work similarly, but the only concepts allowed will be competitive ones.

:calyrex: Last iteration was for Alola games, but a vote will be done at the beginning of the mod in order to determine if we still do SM or if we do another games. If we stick with Alola, then a vote will be done to determine whether we keep the older subs or if we reset everything.

The poll has closed!
The region we will be making DLCs for will be...

Gen 6: XY

image-218.png

Thus, we will be making new Pokemon, new moves, new regional variants, new Megas etc. for the region!

Starting with:

Slate 1: Regional variants
In the previous version of DLCmons, slates included a concept phase, where concepts were submitted and voted for to help give direction to submissions, whether in terms of meta or lore. For this slate, since it's the beginning of the mod, we have decided to have regular submissions.

As a reminder, this mod uses the Regional Dex of Kalos, rather than the National Dex! Please keep that in mind when balancing your submissions.

[Edit: You can make up to 4 submissions!]

Submissions will last for 5 days!

Kalosian Crustle
Typing

Abilities: Sturdy/Heavy Metal/Good as Gold* (H)
Gives immunity to status moves. (it's Gholdengo's signature ability).
Stats: 70/115(+10)/135(+10)/45(-20)/75/45 (485)
 Weight: 500 kg
 Height: 1.6 m

Added Moves: Flash Cannon, Gyro Ball, Heavy Slam, Iron Head, Magnet Bomb, Metal Burst, Meteor Mash, Mirror Shot
Removed Moves: -

Description: A Bug/Steel type with a defensive profile that can also support it's team? Where ive seen that before? Jokes aside, what would set this pokémon apart from similars is Good as Gold, stopping Spore users and Defog, although not being as problematic as Gholdengo by not being immune to Rapid Spin as a hazard removal option. Bug/Steel gives it good resistance against Fairy, Normal, Bug, Grass and other Steel types (with an immunity to Poison), and before weaknesses (Fighting and Ground) neutral (however it will still explode to Fire, which is quite potent on this gen's OU).

Flavor: Basically Crustle with a Fool's Gold (Pyrite) shell and some on it's claws. These Crustle variations had a boom in their population as scammers, seeing an opportunity for quick money, started overreporducing the pokémon to sell chips from it's shell. Although the practice was later discovered and punished, some towns' economy were able to grow thanks to these pokémons, with statues homaging them being made by using the extracted fake gold.

Evolves from base Dwebble when achieving Level 34 while holding a Fool's Nugget (just an evolution-only item for some flavor).

Acc: -
Description: The user regains up to half of its max HP. It restores more HP in a sandstorm.
Removed Moves: -

Description: Funny guy who has even more fun on Sand, valorizing mons like Ttar and Hippowdon. It's typing gives it some nice immunities to Fighting and Normal, and resistances to Fire, Flying, Poison and Bug,while also making the opponent more cautious when using Dark and Ghost moves to not activate Dreadful Architecture (specially dark to avoid being punished by Body Press and Ethereal Collapse). Has a great choice of moves, with Stone Edge and Ethereal Collapse being the titular STABs, Shore Up as a nice HP recover and BP or Eq as coverage against the pesky Steel and Dark types.

Flavor: It's said that Babelgeists originated from the ruins of an enormous tower made by an ancient king who decided to run from the conflict that took place in Kalos over 3000 years ago and is regarded as the place where many scholars reunited to develop the Ultimate Weapon. However, because of the immense power of the device, the tower came crashing down to the ground, with some of it's remains being lost forever, but some the remaining parts gaining life, probably as a side-effect of the energy used to revive Floette.
These pokémons are shrouded in mystery. Folk tales say that if you see one on the distance, depending on which direction its facing: If its facing towards you, it means change is coming and that it brings good omens; if it's against you, it means that unresolved business that you have will come back to bite you.

Based on the Tower of Babel and the Marseille (City on the province of Provence, Southern France) Tarot cards of Death and The Tower. Evolves from Sandygast at level 42 if it has at least been knocked out 13 times or defeated 16 opponents (13 and 16 being the numbers of Death and Tower, respectively).

:delcatty:
Evolved from Skitty with Moon Stone in Kalos
Based on white cats, symbol of purity, enlightment and light.

Back when evolutions exclusive to regional forms aren’t a thing in Alola, Pokémon with low BST such as Alolan Raticate were simply made to fulfill in-game roles. Kalosian Delcatty, in this case, respect the “no exclusive evo” as Kalos came before Alola, out-universe chronologically. However, unlike Alolan Raticate, it is more akin to Diggersby where it got a powerful Hidden Ability that turns it from “okay” to “surprisingly great” if used well.
Name: Kalosian Delcatty
Stats
90 HP / 45 Atk / 80 Def / 45 SpA / 80 SpD / 45 Speed | 380 BST
(XY DLC is a Gen 6 Pet Mod, so standard Delcatty’s BST is rolled back to 380.)
Typing:
Fairy / Fire
Abilities: Cute Charm / Illuminate | Light Power (!)
Light Power: Doubles the Pokémon’s Special Attack.
(!) If Kalosian Delcatty won, this Ability can be given to at least another official Pokémon not in the Kalos Pokédex, as well as future submissions. This is a very strong Ability so I'll discourage to give it to a Pokémon that is better than decent and higher than 50 Special Attack for regular Pokémon, or 90 for Mega Evolved Pokémon.
Notable Moves
Physical:
Fake Out, Nuzzle
Special: Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam, Solar Beam, Energy Ball, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Grass Knot, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Hidden Power
Status: Toxic, Protect, Substitute, Rest, Yawn, Thunder Wave, Heal Bell, Helping Hand, Sing, Swagger, Calm Mind, Wish, Cosmic Power
Description: Most of Kalosian Delcatty’s fur are pure white, able to refracting light and absorb sunlight to safely control fire. It is said that it’s blue flames will purge foul spirits.
Competitive Uses: Akin to official Kalos’ own Diggersby, Kalosian Delcatty is a Pokémon with low BST, but with a powerful Ability in Light Power that doubles it’s Special Attack. It also has an unique (within this Pet Mod) typing in Fairy / Fire, allowing it to stand out among the other Fairy-type introduced in Gen 6.

While a Moonblast or Fire Blast from it would be devastating, it has low Speed and barely above average bulk, causing Kalosian Delcatty to make the most of it’s defensive match-up coming from Fairy and Fire. Weakness to Stealth Rock doesn’t help. With that said, it have a pretty colorful coverage for a Fire-type Pokémon, meaning it want to run Energy Ball to scare off Ground, Rock and Water-type Pokémon.

:vanillite::vanillish::vanilluxe:
Evolution requirement remains the same
Based on sundaes, with mud symbolizing chocolate syrup. Given animalistic traits in form of hippo-like ears.

Barring Avalugg (which is already Kalosian), all the Ice-type regional forms were Pokémon that were never Ice-type to begin with. Why not a Pokémon prior to Gen 6 that is already Ice-type and retain it, alongside a more specialized stat spread and a more threatening secondary type in Ground? Abilities are different to avoid overlap with the Swinub line.
Name: Kalosian Vanillite, Kalosian Vanillish and Kalosian Vanilluxe
Stats
K-Vanillite: 36 HP / 40 Atk / 50 Def / 75 SpA / 70 SpD / 34 Speed | 305 BST
K-Vanillish: 51 HP / 55 Atk / 65 Def / 90 SpA / 85 SpD / 49 Speed | 395 BST
K-Vanilluxe: 91 HP / 75 Atk / 85 Def / 120 SpA / 105 SpD / 59 Speed | 535 BST
Typing: Ice / Ground
Abilities: Sand Veil / Dry Skin | No Guard(*)
(*)Kalosian Vanillite and Kalosian Vanillish have Weak Armor instead
Notable Moves
Physical:
Explosion
Special: Ice Beam, Earth Power, Muddy Water, Hydro Pump, Freeze-Dry, Blizzard, Flash Cannon, Power Gem, Frost Breath, Icy Wind
Status: Toxic, Protect, Substitute, Rest, Yawn, Reflect, Light Screen, Stealth Rock, Spikes, Calm Mind, Recover, Rock Polish
Description: Instead of an ice “scone”, their base is instead a “bowl” that helps them store mud to help regulate body heat in the highly industrial Kalos region.
Competitive Uses: Kalosian Vanilluxe goes for a more specialized stat spread with a slower, but bulkier approach and a slightly higher Special Attack. It can either gain immunity to Water and benefit of Rain with Dry Skin (at cost of increased weakness of Fire), or use No Guard for unmissable Blizzard and Hydro Pump. Neutrality to Stealth Rock is also welcome, and can set them and Spikes on it’s own. Rock Polish also helps patch it’s slow Speed.

Best keep in mind that, without setting up Rock Polish this is still a slow Ice-type, meaning any competant Fire, Fighting and Water Pokémon can pressure it. That said, Steel-type Pokémon no longer walls it, and in fact are highly threatened by Earth Power, so only offense-oriented Pokémon like Bisharp and Mega Scizor should revenge kill it.

:wailmer::wailord:
Evolution requirement remains the same
Based on airships we've seen in fantasy genres + Megaptera species

Sinnoh is the only region where none of it's Pokémon introduced in it has any regional form, but this is arguably balanced out by it's past self, Hisui, introduces as many regional forms as Galar did. This left Hoenn the pre-Kalos Pokémon with the Pokémon the least amount of regional forms, with only the Galarian Zigzagoon line existing as of this writing.

Thus, I have another Hoenn-to-Kalos idea, this time based on airships and the Megaptera species (ironic given the "Mega" part), except they trade away their Water-type in favor of another great defensive type combination, Steel / Flying, while having a stat spread that makes it stand out from the other existing Flying / Steel at the time, Skarmory.
Name: Kalosian Wailmer, Kalosian Wailord
Stats
K-Wailmer: 130 HP / 50 Atk / 35 Def / 70 SpA / 55 SpD / 60 Speed | 400 BST
K-Wailord: 170 HP / 55 Atk / 45 Def / 90 SpA / 80 SpD / 60 Speed | 500 BST
Typing: Steel / Flying (Kalosian Wailmer is just Flying-type)
Abilities: Fortified(!) / Oblivious | Mega Launcher
Fortified: If attacked, the Pokémon ignores the following Abilities: Adaptability, Huge Power, Pure Power, Light Power(*), Parental Bond, Sniper, Tough Claws, Reckless, Sharpness(+), Iron Fist, Mega Launcher, Guts, Flare Boost, Toxic Boost, Gorilla Tactics, Punk Rock(+), Steelworker(+), Serene Grace, Sheer Force, Strong Jaw, Sand Force, Rivalry, Parental Bond, Supreme Overlord(+) and Stakeout(+)
(*) Only applies if Kalosian Delcatty wins.
(+) Only applies if "back-ported", i.e. given to a new Pokémon not in the Kalos Pokédex.
(!) If the Kalosian Wailmer and Wailord won, this Ability can be given to at least another official Pokémon not in the Kalos Pokédex, as well as future submissions.
Notable Moves
Physical:
U-Turn
Special: Flash Cannon, Air Slash, Hurricane, Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Solar Beam, Aura Sphere, Dark Pulse, Water Pulse, Dragon Pulse, Titanium Pulse(*), Hidden Power
Name: Titanium Pulse
Category: Special
Typing: Steel
Base Power: 110
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 5
Effects:
Sharply reduce user's Special Attack by two stages if it hits the target. Boosted by Mega Launcher.
Signature Move of Kalosian Wailord
Description:
While 110 is unimpressive for the downside, it is boosted by Mega Launcher, reaching 165 Power before STAB. This gives Kalosian Wailord a nuke Steel-type attack that obliterates pesky Fairy-type Pokémon.
Status: Toxic, Protect, Substitute, Rest, Roost, Spikes, Defog, Tailwind, Wide Guard, Amnesia, Autotomize
Description: Upon the minimal ocean presence near Kalos, the Wailmer have adapted special floating wings that allows them better maneuvrability in the air. This is kept for Wailord, whose distinct diet gives it a more metallic body and wider fins.
Competitive Uses: Kalosian Wailord would succeed what Wailord fails; being bulky on one side. With a high Special bulk, it can tank even Super Effective special moves, and the player can even invest Defense instead for better survivabilty. Fortified allows it to block the most powerful offensive Abilities, including Huge Power given Mega Mawile, making it a veritable anti-meta wall. If one choose to use it offensively instead, then it have Mega Launcher that synergize well with it's signature move, Titanium Pulse, that can obliterate anything it hits Super Effectively and dent those who simply takes neutral damage, at cost of it's own Special Attack.

Kalosian Wailord's Speed makes it easy to outspeed and wallbreak, and it have no way to patch out it's lower physical bulk, meaning physical attacks will eventually wear it down. Mega Charizard Y will also have no problem wallbreaking it thanks to Drought not being ignored as it sets up sun, worsening Kalosian Wailord's weakness to Fire.

:shinx::luxio::luxray:
Evolution requirement from Kalosian Shinx to Kalosian Luxio remains the same;
Kalosian Luxio requires a Shiny Stone to evolve into Kalosian Luxray.
Based on caracals and crystals, connecting to Carbink and Diancie.

This regional line is simply done to clobber two Talonflame with one stone, by giving the Kalos Pokédex a fast Rock-type that is also a Rock-type with a high Special Attack.
Name: Kalosian Shinx, Kalosian Luxio, Kalosian Luxray
Stats
K-Shinx: 45 HP / 45 Atk / 34 Def / 60 SpA / 34 SpD / 45 Speed | 263 BST
K-Luxio: 60 HP / 65 Atk / 44 Def / 80 SpA / 44 SpD / 70 Speed | 363 BST
K-Luxray: 80 HP / 90 Atk / 64 Def / 125 SpA / 64 SpD / 100 Speed | 523 BST
Typing: Rock / Ghost (Rock only for Kalosian Shinx)
Abilities: Rivalry / Refraction(!) | No Guard
Refraction: This Pokémon's Physical moves becomes Special moves with 1.3x accuracy bonus. Does not remove contact. Burn still halves the power of the converted Physical moves.
Notable Moves
Physical (if using Refraction):
Rock Blast, Stone Edge, Head Smash, Shadow Sneak, Play Rough, Low Kick, Cross Chop, Megahorn, Aqua Tail, Blaze Kick, Iron Tail
Special: Shadow Ball, Power Gem, Focus Blast (No Guard preferred), Vacuum Wave, Aura Sphere, Dazzling Gleam, Energy Ball, Hurricane, Air Slash
Status: Toxic, Protect, Substitute, Rest, Yawn, Thunder Wave, Heal Bell, Wish, Will-o-Wisp, Calm Mind, Magic Coat, Taunt, Stealth Rock
Description: Guardians of the Carbink and the mythical Diancie of the Kalos region, the Kalosian Shinx line have mane transformed into bright white crystal contrasting their ghostly body as a result of their brave sacrifices to protect their loved ones long years ago.
Competitive Uses: A rarity among Rock-type Pokémon is to use perfectly accurate physical Rock-type moves via Refraction, turning them into Special moves with an accuracy bonus to ensure Stone Edge and Head Smash always hit. Other physical coverage moves in Play Rough, Cross Chop, Aqua Tail and Blaze Kick also becomes legitimately viable coverage. Running No Guard instead allows Focus Blast to always hit, very helpful against the loads of Steel-type and Dark-type, and Hurricane for Grass-type + 30% chance of confusion.

It's Speed is average while frail on both sides, leaving it vulnerable to revenge kills and most type of priority moves, particularly Sucker Punch. Being Rock / Ghost also means Kalosian Luxray is weak to Dark-type, Ghost-type, Water-type and Ground-type, with Steel-type and Grass-type STAB also causing it troubles, so it must switch in carefully.

Description: When a powerful noble moved into the region, they made the humble Spearow as their symbol. Ferocity amongst the common in order to get the commoners to like them. Of course, it was a fraud and the noble them made everyone's life worse. Spearow started getting better treatment than their usual treatment as a pest or minor inconvenience. They became spoiled and rounder as they were fed constantly. They still kept their awful temper and still made everyone hate them. If DrPumpkinz Krabby is added, they would be natural rivals, with Krabby serving under the entire line and Kingler acting as revolutionaries that take over and remove the family from the area. Because of this, stronger Krabbys are either closely guarded or taken care of.

Stats: 75/80/55/51/51/120 (+20/-10/-10/-10/-10/+20)
Movepool Changes: +Dark Pulse, Embargo, Flatter, Fling, Hone Claws, Nasty Plot, -Confide
Description: As the new Spearows grew into Fearows, they started loosing the aggressiveness they once had and grew into a more cruel rule over the surrounding area. They demand everything from other Pokemon and have the other Pokemon gather them food. Fearow then distribute the food back but in much smaller quantities. If a Pokemon is found storing food for itself, it will be attacked and have it stolen from. Despite this, Fearow is quite a pushover if something outmatches it, deciding to run away and get allies if someone starts beating it in a fight.

:sv/honchkrow:
Name: Monrow (Monarch + row)
Type: Dark/Flying
Abilities: Keen Eye // Swift Retreat
- Swift Retreat: This Pokemon can choose to switch out on the second turn of moves with a charge turn of invulnerability instead of attacking (Fly, Dig, Dive, etc). This list of moves does not include Sky Drop.
Stats: 106/110/60/53/77/130 (+31/+30/+5/+2/+26/+10) from Fearow-Kalos
Movepool Additions (from Fearow-Kalos): Knock Off, Nasty Plot, Spikes, Sucker Punch
Competitive: Monrow is a reworked Sanddern from DLCmons v1. Monrow has solid enough bulk combined with a blitzingly fast speed and solid offense. Using its signature ability, Swift Retreat, Monrow can outspeed its opponent, use Fly, avoid their attack, and then switch out or attack. This leads to the question of do I switch into a mon to tank a Fly or do they get a pivot off. Do I stay in and hit whatever comes in or do I end up hitting the Monrow. Monrow also packs several good options to help with its unoptimal stats, such as Recovery, Spikes, and Knock Off, the Pet Mods classic.
Description: Monrow developed a method with dealing with those that can threaten it by flying up high to avoid attacks and threaten an attack of their own. When the Pokemon then prepares to deal with the threat, Monrow can then decide to strike if it looks like it can get a good shot or run away and get help. Monrow use this trick, not only to deal with major threats, but also to bully smaller Pokemon.

-Wave Crash: Water, Physical, 70 bp, 100 acc, 16 pp, Has +1 priority, Has 1/3 recoil.
Competitive: Seismitoad packs several strong sets. Seismitoad can run a Swift Swim set with Bulk Up and Rain boosted Wave Crash. That is probably the weakest one, but its other sets are much better. Seismitoad can either run a defensive set with Water Absorb or a crazy offensive set with Reckless. Defensive sets have Stealth Rock, Toxic, Knock Off, stab Drain Punch, and Water Absorb to cover its weakness. Reckless sets are very strong as they are packed Reckless boosted Wave Crash which hits crazy hard, but isn't stab which greatly lowers its damage. It still has STAB EQ and High Jump Kick which hits crazy hard. High Jump Kick is questionable stab, but any Ghost-types that would want to switch in get chunked by Knock Off.
Description: Seismitoad gets massive bulky legs and fights off frog leg enthusiasts with the very thing they want.

Description:
1) Concept
- Kalos has a lot of flower themes. Think of Florges, the mysterious destructive flower, or Lysandre, for instance, the latter being called Flordelis in German. Since Spain is close to France, I figured it wouldn't hurt to include a regional Glimmora able to evolve into Glimmaltis in Kalos.
- Glimmaltis's height reflect the three petals of the fleur-de-lis, symbolizing the three estates of society. Its weight, on the other hand, references the French Revolution. Even though the fleur-de-lis represented royalty, it had been repurposed during the upheaval. For instance, it was used to evoke emotions and rally support for the "right" cause. Moreover, it got intertwined with hope, renewal, and the beauty of a new France. All these information are to emphasize Glimmaltis's special role in the Kalos region; it does have a BST of 600, after all.
- I imagine in Kalos, whether it'd be in the past or in the future, Glimmaltis would be a vital part of the region, especially in locations that have been devastated by Yveltal or drought. It revitalizes them.
- As Glimmaltis and Kalosian Glimmora have been living for a long time in Kalos, especially nearby places influenced by Xerneas, they've become used to the purifying energy in their surrounding, leading to a type change. This would mean the Kalosian Glimmet line no longer knows any Poison moves, except for Toxic. Other than that, the Kalosian Glimmet line has the same movepool as the Paldean Glimmet line.

Description:
2) Competitive
- Glimmora from the Paldean region is known as an offensive hazard lead. Glimmaltis expands on this role with Seed Sower, improving its longevity and allowing it to set multiple hazards throughout the game. This is further emphasized by its good bulk and offensive power. With Giga Drain, Spiky Shield or Leech Seed, Glimmaltis should be able to stay relatively healthy even more.
- Right now, it doesn't seem like we have sufficient Rapid Spin users; Starmie is the only viable Pokémon in the Kalos region that comes to my mind. Thus, Glimmaltis can serve as a potentially new option for certain teams; it can even provide Grassy Terrain through Seed Sower to support the team. This is especially important in a generation where burn does 1/8 chip damage, among other unnerfed competitive elements. So, Glimmaltis doesn't mind too much switching into Will-O-Wisp or Scald. Between its bulk and typing, it can reasonably switch into most Water, Ground, and Electric Pokémon, such as Slowbro, Hippowdon, Zapdos, Mega Manectric or Rotom-W, among others.
- That said, Glimmaltis can run an offensive Rock Polish set for lategame potential. It's also a potential abuser of Sun as Flower Gift makes it tanky on the special side while increasing its physical damage output. Mega Charizard-Y will likely appreciate its ability to remove hazards. In VGC--I mention this because there's been some talk about its inclusion in the server--, Glimmaltis can well thrive on Sun teams as well as in the traditional Grass/Fire/Water core. It doesn't immediately faint to Fire moves, which is pretty huge for Grass Pokémon when Mega Charizard-Y is running around. Moreover, the Rock-type is useful enough to keep Mega Kangashkan in check. Grass + Rock + a natural immunity to Powder moves like Rage Powder is pretty appealing as this combo pressures common Pokémon like Mega Charizard-Y, Tyranitar, Rotom-W, Zapdos, etc. Lastly, it has Rage Powder, which greatly synergizes with Seed Sower.
- While Glimmaltis has high BST, it is well checked by Grass, Dragon, and certain Steel Pokémon, such as Chesnaught, Ferrothorn, Hydreigon, Goodra, Scizor, etc. Moreover, it does not have Synthesis. Therefore, it has to rely on forced switches and a combination of Grassy Terrain, Leftovers, Giga Drain or Leech Seed to keep itself healthy throughout the game.

Description:
1) Concept
- Kalos features some RPG elements, like Greninja as a ninja, Chesnaught as a warrior, and Delphox as a witch. This also extends to other design elements, greatly expanding the world they live in, such as the forlorn forest filled with Trevenant, Aromatisse, etc. So, Kalosian Hatterene greatly fits there; this time, it can be found in the deepest of waters.
- Design wise, Kalosian Hatterene is inspired by Icelandic sealore around selkolla, which is basically a mythical creature with a seal like head (only sometimes, though); it's also said to be a very beautiful female entity. While Hatterene from the Galar region wants to keep you away from it, Kalosian Hatterene, on the other hand, wants to lure you into a false sense of security, through moves like Fake Tears or Baby-Doll Eyes, in order to beat and feast on you...
- If you are wondering where the Dark-type comes from, selkolla are often linked to the following themes: death at sea, tensions between land and sea, unbaptised children turned into a selkolla and a reflection of a parent's sins.
- As for the Pokémon lore: anger and all other negative feelings are concentrated in the head; the Kalosian Hatenna line is rumoured to be an unwanted child (or a young, abandoned Pokémon) turned into a seel or mermaid like entity; to certain trainers, the innocent impression of a seel or mermaid like Pokémon is a constant reminder of their own failures, like abandoning your own Pokémon because they aren’t strong or useful enough, in your eyes. Fwiw, some seels have claws, which explains why the Kalosian Hatenna line has Tough Claws. Moreover, Hatterene from the Galar region is generally able to tear you apart, which lends even more to the idea of Tough Claws.

Description:
2) Competitive
- With Tough Claws, you get to enjoy boosted Draining Kiss as it's a contact move, easily making up for having a base 90 SpA. This is actually as strong as non Tough Claws Hatterene with base 136 SpA, fwiw! Combine that with high Atk and low Spe, and you got yourself a potential mixed offensive attacker. You could easily run a set with Draining Kiss, Calm Mind, Sucker Punch, and Payback / Nuzzle / Foul Play. Sucker Punch deserves special mention here since it gets around Kalosian Hatterene's atrocius Spe and can clean up if a target survives Draining Kiss. Foul Play, on the other hand, punishes physical attackers trying to get around the SpD boost from Calm Mind and is also boosted by Tough Claws.
- As Kalosian Hatterene doesn't have Knock Off, you can easily make use of underrated Dark-type moves like Payback, Night Slash or Punishment. And this is where the beauty of Tough Claws lies. You boost both special and physical moves (as long as they make contact) and make moves with low to moderate base power more appealing. For instance, Play Rough essentially becomes almost as strong as Flare Blitz or Night Slash reaches almost Earthquake levels. And let's not forget about Payback, which turns into a 133 base power move as long as the user attacks after the target has moved.
- That said, in Singles, Kalosian Hatterene will likely run a set-up set with Calm Mind. It could probably do some funny stuff with Beat Up and Nuzzle or be part of a Trick Room team. In VGC, it is a rare offensive Trick Room setter. Outside of it, it can join in an ally's attack with a super strong Assurance to finish off a target. Or it can cause some mindgames with Sucker Punch.
- Kalosian Hatterene is balanced by the fact that it's super slow and reliant on a correct Sucker Punch prediction to get around its speed issue. Moreover, it dislikes facing Poison and Steel Pokémon, notably Amoonguss, Bisharp, Scizor, Skarmory, etc. Fwiw, it has the same movepool as Hatterene from the Galar region but remove Gravity, Heal Pulse, Healing Wish, and Swords Dance. You can still resort to Hone Claws, which more then makes up for Kalosian Hatterene not having Swords Dance anymore. Did you know +1 Sucker Punch from Tough Claws Kalosian Hatterene slightly outdamages +2 Sucker Punch from Bisharp? Crazy, right?

Description:
1) Concept
- The Kalosian Litwick line finds its new purpose in our modern time, from electronic candles to electronic lamps and chandeliers. Quite simple. It's quite eerie how a type change still allows this line to maintain its competitive design: Flame Body - Static, Flash Fire - Volt Absorb or Inferno - Zap Cannon. The only diversion from Infiltrator is Competitive. You could link that to competing with other products. If you want to be funny: “How dare you try to dim my glow? I’ll show you who’s the real star of the show!” In response to Defog or Intimidate, Kalosian Chandelure channels its inner tech guru and boosts its Special Attack, proving that it can outshine any modern product.
- Since there's a "normal" Chandelure in the Kalos region, I figured it wouldn't hurt to change Kalosian Chandelure's name into Chandelite, just like how Paldean Quagsire is called Clodsire. That way, you can use both Chandelure and Chandelite on a team!

Description:
2) Competitive
- Kalosian Chandelure can use Volt Absorb to better check Electric Pokémon and deny momentum with Volt Switch or punish contact attackers with Static and Hex. Alternatively, it can use its Ghost/Electric typing to deny Rapid Spin and severely punish Defog, turning it therefore into an anti hazard removal stopper.
- Bear in mind Kalosian Chandelure is slow, has no way to boost its speed, and is susceptible to Pursuit, keeping it therefore balanced! Pokémon like Tyranitar, Krookodile, Garchomp, Hippowdon, Gliscor or Weavile can reasonably keep it in check.
- In VGC, it punishes Intimidate from the likes of Mega Manectric (which it also checks in Singles), Mawile, Scrafty, Gyarados, and Krookodile but has to watch out for Sucker Punch and Dark-type STAB users. Chandelure from Unova is generally known as an offensive Trick Room setter, with some flexibility for Tailwind teams due to its modest speed. Kalosian Chandelure maintains this aspect as well but can be even more flexible as it punishes Electroweb (which it naturally resists) and doesn't mind Snarl too much--a move that's often used to slow down Trick Room teams.
- That said, remove all Fire moves, except for Will-O-Wisp.

Hi guys! Apologies for the delay in starting voting. First, we have one veto:
Name: Spark Step
Category: Physical
Typing: Electric
Base Power: 80
PP: 15
Secondary Effects: 20% chance to raise Speed.
Distribution: Shinx, Blitzle, Dedenne, Ponyta, Stantler, Girafarig
Description: Of course someone's subbing physical Electric moves, this is Pemtods.
Unfortunately, this slate is only for regional forms of existing Pokemon, and not for new moves, so this submission has to be vetoed.

As a quick note, DrPumpkinz's Regis submission will be counted as one submission here - vanilla Regigigas included.

With that, voting has started!
It will work as it did in V2 - place your three favorite subs in order, from your favorite to your least favorite - 1st place will give that submission three points, 2nd place two points, and 3rd place one point.. You are allowed to vote for your own submission, but not to put yourself in first place.
The 5 submissions that receive the highest votes will win.
Voting will last for 2 days!
