A stray dog lived in our home for YEARS. She was basically our pet and even gave birth twice or thrice(i think, was at least two)
Every time she gave birth the same damn thing would happen. I would raise the pups for two months, than my father, angered with the fact that the pups shit everywhere, even inside the house, sent them away. After her second (or third litter) was sent away , she left our home after being there for about 3-4 years.

Than about 2 years back another stray dog i petted started to stay in our home. Same thing happened. But this time the mother was sent away alongside her pups

Not all endings are happy.
