- Draco Meteor
- Stealth Rock
- Foul Play
- Aura Sphere
I really like this and have for a while after giving it a chance. SR works well w/ venu, who has leech to encourage switching. Draco is kinda just for chomp on a defensive set but...it's chomp so naturally that's ok. Foul Play has been wonderful, essntially retaining steel's use vs mim completely and taking out many things such as megagross and maybe aegi. Aura Sphere is mainly for gambit, another mon w/ a sterling venu mu. Idk what the 2 spe on here is about. I would like to run t wave, but I feel plenty of chomp are reg and not z, so can't really use it there or anywhere else, for that matter. I bring this plenty and it does enough.

Now I won't pretend m-c made this better, w/ its mences and golis, but I can't actually see why anyone would think it's gotten worse. It's great into the 2 z megas that are proven, Chomp is basically useless vs this set, and NP luc can only hope to crit before succumbing to leech. M raptor and gross have largely fallen off...though so have chu y and Gren. W/ ghold not going away, this has problems, but rather than seeing those and giving up, I aim to cover venu vs them. EVs basically go full SpD, but I put in a random spe point for...some reason. idk why I need spe over 80s, though it doesn't hurt to set up amnesia on the mirror asap. This is a great mon against many things, some of which, like milotic, aren't exactly good or common, but I happen to run into often enough. Looking more generally, it is hilarious into things like Glimm, Prim, Gren, Rotoms, the 2 aforementioned zs, many but sadly not all gengar, possible zoroark h, hydrei, char y and dnite if they are parad beforehand, and just generally ALMOST any special attacker. Not typically any good into phox, but I have beaten dirge. Psyspam can be tricky, needs paras too. I really like this mon's typing and ability, synergizes well w/ washtom and arch(corv I gave up on cause mence liked to use flamethrower too much, and it just generally seems slightly worse, both now as itself and compared to arch.)

Timid Nature
EVs: 1 HP/ 1 Def/ 31 SpA/ 1 SpD 32 Spe
- Infernal Parade
- Eruption
- Focus Blast
- Flamethrower
I really like scarf eruption. Such an easy click often. I've used this off and on in this game a lot, it helps a lot to know their item or sometimes to burn them/use the hex portion of it if they are parad. Definitely need easy deletion of ghold somewhere, though I'm open to suggestion as this doesn't help sneasler essentially(only vs fake out gem ones.) While prim is covered for this, I'm not sure it's covering the right things, even if I'd stand by it in a vacuum. Golis and mence are tough, and bax can live a focus if it even hits...same w/ the odd snorlax which I hate. Things that are soundly beaten, like Rilla and Lucarios, aren't really too dangerous to me atm, and so this will sadly probably go soon. EVs should do a little to help some rolls, but I forget which. Timid was chosen because modest from before didn't reach the new 151s, this is also my best hope vs psyspam zam.

Modest Nature
EVs: 28 HP/ 1 Def / 32 SpA/ 5 Spe
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Thunder Wave
- Pain Split
Have played w/ evs, seems fine enough there. Main thing is to ohko hippo, this does so much more though. Mence won't like LO Volt(though I'm considering other moves somewhere to do more hm,) and I put t wave not wisp because I feel it supports venu a lot vs char z and DNite. I like having the grass weakness covered many times over, indeed I rarely have ever used teams w/ much grass weakness overall, as I like grass itself and that already resists. SO it seems a reasonable option for now. Pain Split actually has saved me, I'm reluctant to get rid of it. This does decent damage to ghold, and overall w/ lo. Worst thing has been hydro misses, but fridge tom goes even worse there if I choose to more completely target mence. This is one of my two ways to stop reg swamp from doing a yawn cycle.

Adamant Nature
EVs: 31 HP/ 32 Atk / 2 Def/ 1 Spe
- Waterfall
- Power Whip
- Temper Flare
- Thunder Wave
W/ the main issues being physical, this seemed ok. Waterfall is really just here to look good, it hasn't been helping. Power Whip stops swamp rocks, or any swamp for that matter rng permitting, and that isn't happening often enough w/ this team otherwise. If golis switches in, it'll either take some reasonable damage pre mega, or I miss and Temper Flare does a LOT(this situation hasn't happened but could, instead temper flare has been more for fire coverage and the effect when I t wave twice on sucker punches.) T wave works w/ that, and is again support for venu. DNite will ohko gyara, presumably it will have t bolt, but char y most certainly cannot, so that gets vulnerable to amnesia. This has been pretty good, I totally see why the mega is ranked lower atm, if only barely. Basically only issue is waterfall is ever really helping much, for me. It should probably be eq or even ice fang in this case.
Aggron @ Aggronite
Ability: Sturdy

Impish Nature
EVs: 32 HP/ 17 Atk / 17 SpD
- Rock Blast
- Iron Head
- Crunch
- Ice Punch
The big three issues were mence, bax, and ghold. Sneasler I guess too, but maybe somewhat less and this gets filter hence how it gets those nasty eqers at all in the first place. Sturdy is a good pre mega ability, and I'm just realizing this MIGHT patch up my unsavory fissure lax mu. But nvm, ice punch is for mence, I believe I 2hko after intimidate(SpD is for good roll on neutral 32 SpA non focus blast ghold.) Iron Head hardly gets any flinches, but I was lazy to check the weight on bax xd, seemed like it'd be heavy enough I should use this...crunch for ghold and indeedee. Rock Blast seemed to be a free slot, so I decided to try it for ceru which I hate, and cause ghold is 2hkod by crunch already, but now I'm thinking EQ actually, mainly for sneasler, but also for gambit.
This hasn't seen much play, kinda obsessed w/ amnesia venu still. But I wen through a ton of other options for what would get those 3. Absol Z would seem to, but if a non parad mence has dd that's just gone, and I have to mess w/ mixed to do anything to it, and it didn't look like enough. I tried sash hamurott w/ ice beam, but while that gets ghold it is slower than bax and mence, and just too frail if sash ever breaks. I no longer like mim, disguise is all that's great about it, though that is a lot...and I even tried mabosstif and furfrou. Both have 4mss to start w/, though, and mabosstiff couldn't run intimidate, even though that made it frail ish, because a guard dog boost was needed for mence to be ohkod. I might've stuck w/ it though, except no knock off ofc, only jaw lock or crunch. Furfrou before that seemed promising, but even if it IS fat enough in some instances on def side, that's if invested and it doesn't do much damage at all...mence doesn't love a cotton guarder, but dd roost catches up when you deal so little. So for now I like this, aggron has been a mini favorite for a while, ran it in gen 6 maison w/ cm pass sylv and wish pass mola lol.
I have yet to get high, but this team made me go up almost 300k places so that's something...I think sneasler is the worst mu.
